@Obscene Symphony Honestly, the more you guys show you're excited for this, i fill with more excitement. So much so that I've even been going through some character ideas in my head. I'm really considering just putting out a CS so i can check out your guys' awesome characters too ^_^

@Obscene SymphonyNo list, i did make note of it though at the bottom (i believe) of the "magic by colors". For anybody who wishes to use decaying or healing magic, those are the only two magics i will limit to 2 users. That makes them more of a rarity and more valuable so we don't have 10 guardians running around healing themselves/others or 10 guardians walking around rotting everything around them

@Obscene Symphony If I'm understanding it correctly, it'd be something like a Deadpool-type of character? He battles villains, but really has no real morals to speak. Not the clean-cut hero, but not a villain either type of thing? If that's the case, then I have no problem with such a character. I think it'd be a good way to spice things up. Where's all the fun if we're all goody-two-shoes, getting along, holding hands, doing sing-alongs? :)

Also, in regards to what the guardian really is... You can call it whatever you want really. Guardian, spirit, ghost, yokai. It's really all the same concept to me, just different places have different names for them and I do believe a kitsune falls under yokai xD

Honestly, I was thinking... I believe we have 5 (6 including myself and assuming everybody joins), so I may just have this up for another day in-case anybody else wants to show any interest. On the other hand, I was thinking I will leave it for like... half of the day tomorrow while I start getting everything ready. Then if it's not generating more interest here, I will have an IC up some time by tomorrow evening and leave it open for others to join should they come

@BlackPanther First I would look at the guardians class. If they were of the combat or weapon class, at best (meaning with character growth and all) I would say they would be able to perform SOME mid-level illusions. You know, trick the senses, maybe some of the illusions are capable of inflicting pain. On the other hand, if they were a caster, that's when you start getting into creating an entire zone of illusions and your enemy will most definitely feel the pain.
Secondly, if the guardian has another magic it will weaken its illusion magic. Personally since it's only two magics, I would cut it in half or balance out the proportions how you see fit. Maybe 75% of its power is in fire magic, with a mere 10% in illusion. In which case I would imagine the butterfly to be something like red wings (taking up the majority of the butterfly) with yellow tips. There's a lot of ways to mix it up, i'm trying to give you guys options :) As for how powerful it is.... Let's use, for example, the guardian is of the caster class and its power is split straight down the middle between both magics. Naturally, being a caster, they would still be able to cast higher level magics, but it won't be as "effective" (for lack of a better term) than a caster guardian that only uses illusions. The pure illusion caster may be able to create an illusion zone that spans 300 meters, while the other can only create a zone for 150.
At the end of the day, I'm giving you guys free reign over the abilities as long as it's within reason. So one guardian may not even cast the same illusions as another. Just remember, we won't be pulling out any city-crushing magic in the beginning of the roleplay lol. It's all about progression

I would also like to add, for everybody, that while I do have a good idea of what all is going into the roleplay... it's still just that, an idea. So if you guys have any suggestions on what we can change to make the rp that much more awesome or things that we can add. This idea can be subject to change, so throw down any thoughts for discussion. As long as it's all within reason and we can come to terms it may make it in. I want everybody to enjoy this :)
