Ohhh, I found a description of the Yith homeworld I think. Here is a link to a reading of the story youtube.com/watch?v=i56YqscHs44

The description of the creatures in the vision begins at 28:00 and the description of them exactly matches that of THe Great Race in The Shadow out of time, but this is curious because in The Shadow out of Time it was stated that the bodies the Yith had in that story were not their original forms but one stolen from native Earthlings
This will mainly be a world-building/nation survival roleplay

The year is ~2 billion BC, and the world of Yith is slowly freezing as its parent star fades into darkness.
The diameter of the planet Yith is nearly 2.7X that of Earth. Yith was a vibrant oasis of life for nearly 7 billion years, and it was not until its sun began to die that the threat of death first forced the creature of Yith through Her bloody filter. But through the filter of death and change comes life of a higher order, life that adapts to its environment through thought rather than through luck. And so in the last days of the world of Yith there evolved many creatures of mind, and from those creatures sprung many wonderful and horrible civilizations.

This is where we find ourselves. Now, you and I and the rest of us; the remaining members of our species in alliance against outsider and against the cold. We call ourselves The Great Race of Yith. Our race, at present, is far from great. The whole of our population is a mere 42,000, and we are slowly running out of resources in the damp caves of our single mountain city. Our city is cradled inside a
mountain's vast system of caves, and the mountain itself is surrounded by hundreds of kilometers of a shallow ocean out of which are strewn giant natural formations of stone, and in which swim horrible creatures. We sustain ourselves on our underground farms of stoney mushroom-like vegetables which draw their energy from the hydrothermal vents deep in the core of the mountain.

There has been talk recently of new discoveries that may allow us to one day transfer our minds to a more hospitable time and place. We are not the most technologically capable race on the world of Yith, however, and it may be some time before we can do this. Until then, we must eek out an existence on our dying world.

TO DO: Decide what the forms of The Great Race look like
-NOTE-
At least one player will be a human female who is somehow involved

Hello, I am Inkerflargn. I enjoy world building role playing and nation building role playing the most, though I don't have very much experience role playing at all
