Finally finished editing that transcript. At this point the only person I'm rooting for in this case is the judge.

Bio

I'm a 24 year old college student with a "tragic past" and a series of flunked schools and medical bills. Roleplaying has been my one escape from a harsh reality while growing up, and I really appreciate this site and everyone on it.

I've been on Roleplayer Guild for eight years, going on nine in a few months.

I started roleplaying at 13 on an Invader Zim fan site... I accept my shame and disgrace.

That will be good. Jericho has very little hand-to-hand combat skills. He knows some boxing, but other than that... He's spent most of his time making his suit. He's a thinker, not a puncher. He's seriously in over his head.
XD What a pair they'll make. Still, Jericho could use a different perspective! He's still very green, having someone older and wiser, if not, as you said, flexible on legality, will help him out.

I'll start working on a post soon!
That would be very helpful, thank you! Gregor and Jericho can be partners! XD
I still don't know how to get Jericho to enter. He's never been to the industrial rim, where all the action is taking place. He's only got a week's worth of service under his belt, he's a super big rookie.
I'm still here. I was waiting for someone else to post before I started on another.
Washington DC! It's high population, but relatively low-crime, and is very clean with multiple historic monuments. It feels like Europe in america with all the beautiful architecture. Who doesn't want to hang out in spandex on top of a pretty building?

And if you're worried about skyscrapers, worry no more! The nearby city of Arlington, just across the river, has plenty of sky scrapers.
Looks good! I don't have any problems with Eddie! Assuming Fusby has no objections, feel free to join Vesper in the character tab!
Normal-
Name: Clair Edwards
Age: 16

Appearance: http://virulen.deviantart.com/art/Vesper-sketches-608480015?ga_submit_new=10%253A1463016353
Clair is a young man with pale, almost silvery blonde hair. He has pale, alabaster skin and steely grey eyes, almost effeminate with long lashes. His hair is short and feathery, neatly groomed, or, as neatly as it can be. He's tall, lanky, and with wiry muscles, and most would rank him as very attractive. His eyesight in his civilian form is very bad, so he requires glasses to see. He is always well dressed, with ties, cravats, and tailcoats wherever he goes. He's never seen without his ruby red batwing brooch, which most agree is rather creepy. He always wears a cold, serious, aloof expression, and has rarely been known to smile.

Backstory: Clair Edwards was born the eldest and only son of Jackson and Maria Edwards, in Washington D.C. itself. His mother was an aide to the then French Ambassador, and married Clair's father while he was working as the White House deputy communication's director. Clair was born shortly after his father became a senator, and by the time he was 14, Jackson Edwards was the president of the United States Senate. By the time Clair was 16, he was rich, he had 3 younger sisters, and he absolutely detested his existence.
As someone who grew up witnessing political troubles at home and far away, Clair became early acquainted with the games of politics. He learned that people wore masks to hide their true nature, that they told lies to get the things they wanted and to destroy those they despised. And if you didn't want to be destroyed, then you had to put on the perfect mask, one with no flaws, no faults, and no weaknesses. And if Clair ever stepped out of line, he'd become a weakness.

He was groomed to be his father's perfect successor ever since the age of 6. The days when his nightlight was taken away, when he was no longer to dress up as a superhero or carry his favorite blanket around wherever he went, still stick out in his mind. He was expected to be stronger, smarter, and more mature than anyone else his age, and even older. Things like temper tantrums, school fights, and name calling were repressed, even within the household. He was no longer allowed to be a child, but only the image of the perfect child. His sisters received a similar treatment, but because they were younger than he was and showed no interest in politics, they were not so tightly controlled.

Eventually, that perfect mask struck something hard in Clair, something dark and broken. He came to hate the masks people wore, and came to believe that human beings were naturally self-serving, hateful creatures. And so, when he stumbled upon the Bat Miraculous in the attic of their new house, thought long lost to time, he took advantage of it's powers. He would destroy the fake order and happiness people built around themselves, and he would rebuild it and replace it with a world where people were free to be fearful, angry, and hateful. But he'd need the other miraculous stones to complete his dream, and thus, his quest began.

Personality: On the surface, Clair seems to be a polite, serious, if not somewhat eerie student. He spends much of his time in the library or hanging out at public places, and seems to be liked by his peers well enough. Clair knows how to throw around just the right amount of money to be liked, but out of the picture. Beneath the polite, if not cold, facade, Clair is a ticking time bomb, filled with boiling anger and hatred. The darkness in his heart has grown so much that there are very few things he doesn't despise. His fellow man is nothing but a tool to him, a toy at best. In fact, if you followed him around for the day, you'd find Clair has no friends... And that he also follows people around all day.

Hero-
Name: Vesper

Appearance: When Clair becomes Vesper, his hair becomes a stark white, and becomes longer and more disheveled. He also gains a pair of fangs, loses his need for glasses, and his eyes become a deep red. He wears a black mask covering his eyes, a pair of tall, false ears that enhance his hearing, his cravat becomes longer and lacier, and he gains a two-toned cape, black on the outside and red on the inside. Underneath his cape his suit is a dark maroon with black gloves, boots, a lacey white shirt, and a black buttoned vest. His Miraculous Stone becomes a dark red as well, and begins to blink and chirp when he runs out of time.

Miraculous: His Miraculous is that of the Bat, and is a small silver and red brooch he keeps pinned to his cravat.

Powers:
Active Power: Discord- Using the power of Discord, Vesper can use his voice to hypnotize others and bring out the darkness in their hearts. With this, not only does he transform that person into a dark version of themselves, he also channels his powers through them. This means that while he has a Discorded victim, he is vulnerable, no longer having his suit's passive powers. However, the victim will continue to have his powers even when Vesper de-transforms, and Vesper can take his powers back at any time. He also can influence the decisions the Discorded victim makes, and can see and hear things through them. Of course, like the other Miraculous users, Vesper will de-transform five minutes after using Discord. In addition, when Discord is used on an inanimate object, such as glass, ceramic, some plastics, the object will break. However, Vesper can't use Discord on multiple people at once, and can't use it on those who don't have sufficient darkness in their hearts. And, unlike Hawkmoth, Vesper doesn't have the luxury of sending out akumas from a remote location. He has to find and stalk his prey physically, using Discord on them in person. Hence, Clair's habit of stalking people is explained.

Passive Powers: Hearing- With his tall ears, Vesper's hearing is unrivaled. He can hear a person whisper at 1,000 feet away, making it impossible for someone to sneak up on him unless he is distracted. His hearing is so good that he doesn't even need to see. In pitch black environments, he can navigate by using the ambient noises of his surroundings.
Sight- In addition, his eyesight sharpens greatly, removing his need for glasses. While it's no x-ray vision, it is slightly sharper than that of a normal human's, allowing him to see what some others might have missed.
Flight- Vesper can fly effortlessly, hovering, gliding, and soaring without so much of an effort. It's not a power he uses often, given that he rarely shows his own face, but it does exist.
Anti-Gravity boots- Okay, so maybe not anything like that. However, using the combination of his flight and the small hooks on the soles of his boots, Vesper can anchor himself to various surfaces, be it the floors, the walls, or the ceiling!
Dark Sense- Vesper can sense when someone is feeling incredibly upset, angry, or hateful. He can lock onto one person's energy signature, and follow them.
Light Sense- Similarly, Vesper can also sense the joy in a person's heart. The Bat Miraculous wasn't always used for evil, ya know. However, Vesper regards those happy signatures with as much annoyance as we would a mosquito, and brushes them off.

Weapon: Vesper's weapon is an unbreakable cane, which he can wield as a baton or sword. The handle of the cane, silver emblazoned with patterns of bat wings, is hooked, allowing greater versatility of the weapon. Though it cannot extend infinitely, nor can it grow, the cane does have another use. It will come when Vesper calls for it, so he can throw it and retrieve it without moving from his original spot. If he did call the other Miraculous users, his communicator would be a hologram projected from the gem atop his cane. But he doesn't call people, so that probably won't make an appearance.

Kwami-
Name: Hexx
Appearance: Hex is small, even by Kwami standards. He is a black bat with maroon fluff about his neck, and red skin making up the film on his wings. He has three long antennae, one on his forehead, and one on each cheek. His eyes are a wide scarlett and full of life. On his forehead the is a red oval, and two red triangles on his cheeks.
Personality: Hexx is a cheery, friendly, mild-mannered little bat who always tries to see the good in everyone. He very much dislikes having to help Vesper with his agenda, and dislikes fighting the other Miraculous users and their Kwami even more. However, He does not dislike Clair himself, and rather pities him. He often tries to befriend the cold boy and appeal to his better nature, to no avail. Still. Hex keeps his chin up. Just because his chosen has strayed down the wrong path, doesn't mean he can't be brought back into the light.
Favorite Food: Hexx's favorite food are persimmons, which he eats copious amounts of.
