Eve had been walking on the road for quite some time, her legs were sore, her clothes were covered in cracked mud with her face giving off the same impression. However, she was all smiles on the open road as the idea of bringing people happiness sounded good for her torn up heart. It had been only a few days since she had left her village as she felt she needed to bring some happiness to the world with her very own special magic. She giggled as she imagined what kind of crazy adventures her little village was having with her gone, her dad telling those wild stories while her mom would be baking something delicious! She missed them from the moment she had left the village, but it was for the sake of humanity that she should go out in the world and explore every nook and cranny for those sad people.
Eve was about a few miles ahead from her last thought about her parents until the aroma that she was so used to arrived in her nose, the smell of life was in the air and she needed to see what was happening. She jogged over to the side of the road to find a poor little dog rotting in some trench. Eve put her hands around her heart to find such a sad scene and the girl jumped down into the trench, landing right next to the corpse. Her eyes were watering, not from the stench of the corpse but from the sadness she felt in her heart at the dead dog, "Aw. Poor little puppy was abandoned. How could someone do this to you poor little puppy?" Eve gently grabbed the snout and with a burst of her magic, the dog slowly started to get up from the ground, the decayed legs trying to find balance while the entire body was trying to crack itself into position to stand once more. Eve clapped her hands to find that the dog was back to the world of the living and found a name for her new pet. "I think your name shall be Fluffy!" She exclaimed, petting the matted fur of the creature. "Ok..." She looked under the dog to determine the gender but the underside was too, disfigured, for even Eve to determine, "Fluffy, follow your new owner!" The corpse looked up at Eve with its glassy eyes and obeyed the order. Eve clapped her hands once again, "So much discipline! You and I are going to be great friends!"
Eve's new source of joy trotted along side her, she occasionally bent down to pet the head with the eyeball coming out here and there, but quickly put it back in while giggling. Her nights were spent in the small campfire as Fluffy laid beside her, not sleeping, but staring out into nothingness, waiting for another order. As another day passed, her excitement to find another town was growing as meeting another person has been on her mind for quite some time. She knew that the people she reanimated were normal people, but it was just that humans always had troubles that she could fix! Rather than her utopian village she had lived for an entire year. So, as she passed a sign saying that there was a town called Shirotsume just a couple miles ahead, she was ecstatic! Eve screamed in excitement and hastened her pace to finally find another village.
Eve was at the outskirts on Shirotsume and she was excited to meet other people and help them with her special magic, she looked at Fluffy noticed that the sun was starting to make the flesh boil and small pieces of meat sliding off of the body! She couldn't have that! Eve quickly tossed Fluffy an extra set of her clothes, covering most of the exposed fleshy bits before heading off into the town. Now, as she looked like a dirty hobo from both the smell and dirty clothing, people tended to avoided her. She smiled and waved at everyone, few waved back at Eve and fewer to respond back to her small inquiries. Eve noticed that people were trying to avoid her, and she smelled herself and found there was nothing unusual about her odor. Maybe it was something that she couldn't notice herself, she tried to walk up to people, but they looked sickened whenever she got near. Eve entered stores to figure out what was wrong and was promptly kicked out for some reason. Well, Eve wasn't discouraged by the rudeness of the town, that actually made her more determined to make this place better with her magic. However, she needed to figure out what was wrong with this inhospitable town.
Countless shops refused her and people continued to gag at the sight of her, "I don't know what is wrong with this town. Maybe they just don't like strangers?" She questioned to the covered Fluffy, but it did not respond back, only staring blankly at her. Eve sighed, she stopped at another building called the Dragon's Fang? Such a peculiar name for a building, but it sounded fun! Eve entered the guild, looking around before stepping further into the building, Fluffy silently following the girl several paces away. "Hello! Don't kick me out like the other stores, please! I just need to figure something out!" She yelled into the building, hoping someone would finally answer her questions rather than kicking her out in a rather rude manner.
