Woah, I had no idea this was still running. I stopped checking it a while back. Is it too late to jump back in? Poor Colmaz has probably been bored out of his mind, doing nothing for 14 days.

And he meets both of them and they both had a smile on their faces. When they saw Colmaz, Garas came to him and said.

"Lord Morias is sending an entire army to take down the dragon since it woke up before we arrived. He however assured us that the troops will give us Soulstealer should they find the sword on Sssalivan... you seem a bit nervous, what happened?"

Colmaz filled them in on Sssvalian's deal. "So... What do you think? I'd obviously not prefer to be a servant to a terrifying elder dragon, but I'd like to get your opinions first."

"Suit yourself, but I promise that I will have eyes watching and as soon as they accept or refuse, the city will be under attack. This also comes true if you try to warn the garrison commander about the impending attack." Sssalivan said smiling. "Hurry, dragons aren't very patient you know."

Colmaz did hurry, sprinting all the way to the inn he'd thought his companions were most likely at. He ran out of steam, and had to drink on of his few stamina potions.
He didn't dare go back to where he saw Garas last, outside the guardhouse, for fear of agitating the dragon. He had a feeling that this alliance would not work out.

He stood in the doorway of the inn, heaving conspicuously, and looked for one of his allies. With any luck, they'd be here.

I am really sorry for my leave of absence, I was camping in a no-cell zone. I'll read through what I missed and see if I can orient myself!

"What about you?" He asks. "Do you swear tour allegiance to me?" Sssalivan asks. "After all, my servants need to know who not to kill later when they torch this city to the ground."

Colmaz wasn't very happy about the notion of murdering civilians. He shifted his hand into his potion bag slowly, trying not to draw attention. He thought of all of the possible outcomes, and was uneasy when he realized that most of them concluded in his death.

"I'd need to talk to my friends first. If they agree, than you can put me down as a definite yes. Power and fortune and such," he said. "I should talk to them at once." He backed away from Ssvalian slowly.

"Or..." He said pausing. "You and your friends swear allegiance to me and I will give you Soulstealer, plus a few extra powers that will allow even you to battle. What do you say?"

Colmaz thought about it. After some deliberation, the alchemist said, "I would need to ask my companions for their opinion first, of course. It wouldn't sit right with me if I were to decide their allegiances for them."

"I'm always willing for a trade, though it depends what you have in mind." He says, still smiling. "But please, make it a fair trade..."

Colmaz was happy that Sssvalian seemed to be a reasonable fellow. Unfortunately, Colmaz was beginning to be a bit too trusting of the man in red. The alchemist wondered what he actually had to offer.

"What if we -myself, and my two companions- complete a set number of tasks for you? Once our number is up, you trade us the blade. Would that be fair enough for you, or do you want to add something?"

"No, I have something else to ask of you." He says. "Join me..." He said smiling. "Everything you want will be yours. I was planning on hibernating, but since everyone wants me up and about, then why not give them a good show... What I mean, will you help me take over?" He asks. "I will personally make sure you will have whatever you want and/or need, so what say you?"

"Well, I'm not against the idea, but I'm not sure what use I could be to you. I'm not much of a fighter. Besides, all I really care about is my alchemy, and I don't know how you could help with that. My other motivation is Soulstealer, and I have a feeling you're not too eager to give that up. Unless, you'd like to make a trade...?"

The lizardmen nodded and led him out the city, one stood in front of Colmaz and the other behind him in case he would try to run away.

After an hour or so of walking, the two lizardmen reach a man dressed in red plate mail armor. His entire body was covered by the armor, except his head. The man had crimson eyes and crimson colored hair.

"Ah, hello, my good man!" The man greeted Colmaz. "I am Sssalivan, currently in my human form right now." He says. "O have a question for you and I need you to answer me honestly, do you really think that you and 50 wyverns can defeat me?" He asks. "After all, I defeated the Avatar of Evil, or as you know him King D, and the Avatar of Death on my own." He said, still smiling.

"Well, actually, we were hoping to skip the whole "defeat" part and negotiate with you for the sword," said Colmaz, trying not to anger him. "I think we'd stand half a chance in a fair fight, though."
He cleared his throat. "Was that all you cared to ask me, or is there something else you wanted?"

And he was stopped by two lizardmen armored in plate mail. They had no hostile look on them and even smiled at Colmaz. One of them approached his ear and whispered:

"Sssalivan wishes to see you now, do not shout or even think of running and we'll kill you in a flash. Don't worry, he wishes to offer you a proposition."

While Colmaz was idealistic, he wasn't idiotic enough to try and resist. He could chug one of his few agility potions and probably get away, but the motion of reaching for his potion bag was sure to set off a few alarms and probably get him killed in the process. He had no choice but to go with the lizardmen.

"This isn't the friendliest way to start business dealings," he said sourly, but he offered no resistance.
