Heya!

Long time role player here! I started off in 2006-2007 with a Teen Titans forum, my first character I wrote as was Terra and that continued until about 2013-2014. I have also made a variety of OC’s with friends and play D&D on the regular. Currently, I’m interested in just free/casual, but during the summer when I have free time I’d be more so interested in advanced.

I’m really interested in fantasy and superhero/villain worlds.

[Science building]

After spending some time indulging in her nostalgia with the snow and perhaps making a new acquaintance named Mel, the doe found her way abandoning her childish activity as she heard a soft melody beeping on her phone. Digging her phone out of her beige peacoat pocket, her phone had a pixelated picture of her favorite soccer player, Bark Noble and the words: [Aquatic Anatomy & Physiology]. Switching her alarm and replacing the device in her pocket, she stood up straight and headed dutifully to class. Although this was one of the harder subjects of the day, she couldn't help but find a keen interest considering she had rarely seen any Aquatic members in the University. Having aced her previous Anatomy & Physiology of the Mammalia and Reptilia classes and--barely scraping a B in the Aves class, she was learning more with the mysterious Aquatic. From the Agnatha to Osteichthyes, it was hard for her to maintain all the new information.

Keeping herself as close to the edge of the science building as possible, her ears were perked and her eyes were straight. Her ears couldn't help but move toward the conversations of other animals around her, it was a habit.

"An F, that professors a real fu-"

"So we were at the Wolf Pack last night, you'll never guess-"

"And he told me that my behind look like a hippo's, why was he surprised when I threw my wine at him? I-"

"Gracie!"

The doe halted in her tracks, she had no time for chit-chat, her class was merely feet away from her. She looked down to her obstacle. "Oh, hi Yarely." She smiled kindly toward the vienna blue rabbit who was sporting the University's soccer jersey. "You're playing tonight right? I'm sorry-I don't know if I can make it this time. I have to cram so much studying and with that on top of my track team.."

"No worries! I just wanted to say hey, you've been really aloof and hard to reach..well more than usual that is, everything okay?"

"Yes, as I said I'm just busy." Gracie eyed the classroom, trying to give her friend a hint. "I promise after exams I'll be more available and watch you play again. You know I can't miss it for the world. A small rabbit like you being able to be a goal keeper? It's incredible to watch."

"You going to watch West Hog this weekend? I don't mind joining you, but our usual spot has been taken over..Let's think of a new place to watch!" Yarely grinned, knowing that bringing up Gracie's favorite soccer team will force her to socialize.

"Of course! Let's brainstorm and text each other," She looked at her phone, "Ah! Sorry Yarely-gotta run!!" The deer quickly ran toward her class, almost knocking over a small mongoose, "Sorry!!"

[Library Kiosk]

After a grueling lecture the doe let out a yawn before heading over to the Library, the kiosk where she worked was there. They sold homemade bakery goods and coffee as well as sandwiches for all diets. Clocking in she greeted her co-worker, "Good morning, Bea!" She smiled, "Let's feed some hungry animals!" The peacock glanced at her and nodded, as was routine.

She quickly walked to the back away from the register, happy with how she left her station, clean and organized. Taking out a variety of colorful vegetables from the walk-in fridge and taking out a sharpened knife, she started to prep for the busy afternoon with a smile on her face. Cooking was very soothing for her as feeding others was the way she knew how to make others happy. Seeing others from the corner of her station, almost hidden away, and observing their smiles as they ate her croissants, fresh hot cross-buns, salads, and sandwiches overfilled her with joy.

I'm absolutely down for this!
Outside the Cafeteria, interacting with @LostButterfly92

Gracie couldn't help but blush as she was building a snow-deer, perhaps others would judge her and comment on the childishness of it. Normally, she wouldn't do anything that makes her stand out but being out in the snow she couldn't help the sense of nostalgia of her childhood days playing with her brother in the snow as her parents watched and offered them hot chocolate with marshmallows. The few happy memories she had of her brother seemed to overtake her paranoia of how other mammals would look at her. Patting on the large snowball that she had built she looked up at the beautiful winter sky, the gorgeous hues of the pink sunrise that may soon melt her creation.

When looking back down, she noticed that the other student from earlier had joined her with a wave and a nervous smile. Was she as bashful as herself? Seeming as the stranger seemed innocent enough, she hesitantly returned the wave,

"H-Hey there..I don't usually see others so active in the mornings." She spoke as soft as the snow and scrambled for small talk, something she had struggled with. She scratched the back of her head with a smile and then relaxed her gloved hands on her knees. "I couldn't help myself," She chuckled looking toward the start of her creation, "I used to do it so often as a fawn, build a snow-mammal that is." She felt the need to explain her actions.

"Oh--how rude of me..My name is Gracie. 3rd Year." She bit her tongue slightly, why did she announce her year to this stranger? "Calm down, Gracie." She thought, reprimanding herself.

She extended her hand, "And your name?" She put on a warm smile toward the other, though in her mind she was still paranoid that she was acting foolish.
@BizarreLolli
I've been catching up on all the reading, my character is on the Track and Field team as well. I also like the idea of a seed being the mascot.
I started roleplaying back when I was thirteen (now 28). I didn't roleplay through AOL, but I fondly remember Invisionfree, Zetaboards, and Proboards. I had a forums of my own at one point.

But then I became an adult. Had two minimum wage jobs and worked about 60 hours a week on average and had to quit for about... 10 years? Finally have one decent-paying job so I have free time on my hands again... =D

Are you me? Haha I remember creating my own pro boards forum too! I am also 28 and started at about 12/13ish and due to life had to go on hiatus for a long time before getting my full time job.

I never RP’d through AOL, but I did on MSN!
Inside the Cafeteria. Right outside the Cafeteria
Gracie found herself sitting down in the middle of the cafeteria, she didn’t have class until 8:00. However, she was an early bird..or doe, that enjoyed the quiet mornings. It was a time for her to listen to her podcasts, do her jog, and then relax in the cafeteria and observe the other mammals straggling in Loosening her grey scarf from her speckled neck, she checked her phone for any updates on the world or her close circle, especially from her track team.

The doe frowned slightly, her friends weren’t morning mammals like herself, and other than the downpour of snow there were no news that was worth investigating, other than a headlines that read “Local Sloth beats world record of longest belch.” “Here’s what your Horoscope says this week!” “Fleas got you down? Don’t be embarrassed! Try Flee Flea! Get your free Flee Flea today!”

She found herself then monotonously scrolling through her social media feed. She stopped at Clyde, the leopard. He was the star of the track and field team. Lean body, a serious spotted face. He was a flawless runner. She had looked up to him since her first year, hoping to someday beat his record. They hadn’t spoke to each other much, he didn’t really socialize with the other runners outside of the Track and Field realm.

Letting out a soft yawn, she covered her mouth lest to be seen as rude or unseemly, she then slurped the last bit of green smoothie she had, moving her tongue across her teeth to dispatch any embarrassing leftovers. She sat up and stretched and did a neck roll. She looked at the snow outside the cafeteria and grinned. “What a lovely weather to build a snowdeer, oh I haven’t done that since I was a young fawn!!” Thinking to herself, she put on her beige pea coat and tightened it before walking with a bounce toward the door.

Outside she was again met with the crisp winter air which didn’t seem to bother her. She found a spot by a large tree that’d be perfect to build a Snowdeer, rubbing her hands together she started to build the first mound of snow, humming joyfully to herself.
