"Ugh. Down there, then?" The Adventurer said, walking to the edge of the big pit that the cat-looking humanoid jumped into. He dashed onto one of the first platforms, and made his way down the cliffs to meet with them. As he was hopping the rocks, his mind inquired as to the strangeness the day had wrought. Unlike his unfortunate fellow....adventurer, he used his acrobatics to traverse the plateaus and was quickly blocked by a couple of Gruzzer Flies. "Damn it. They're giant."
The Adventurer tried to stab one of them, and succeeded, but due to the size of the rapidly dying fly, He had to let go of his weapon and watch as it and the fly took a massive fall, hitting the ground with force sufficient to crack it. This impact woke up some the other flies, maybe three or four, and suddenly, he was facing them all. Smacking a fly away, he quickly dashed through a hole in the crowd and just reached the platform behind the flies, running away with an urgency previously unneeded.
He reached the floor, grabbed his weapon off the corpse, and ran in any random direction away from the enemies until he found other people. The Adventurer barely had time to speak before the buzz of the Gruzzers drowned all words out. Not wanting to cause problems for the others, he charged towards the four fat animals, and methodically chopped them in half, one by one, right next to the Gruz Mother, who had heard the noise, and woke up.
"Crap."
To say the Gruz Mother was big even for a Gruzzer fly would not be too difficult. The rhino-sized creature charged the Adventurer, and he barely had time to dodge it. With a look of grim determination, the man turned once again and dodged to the side, hoping someone would come help.
The next time an attack came, he leaped to the side and sheared a wing off, causing them to fall to the ground. He next moved to dismember the strange proboscis from their face, and was knocked multiple feet back by rams from another two Gruzzers from the back who had come over to help. Leaping backwards, he watched the other people he was trying to protect, and silently scolded himself for being an idiot and not being aware of all his surroundings.
(I could kill them here, but Imma give the others a chance to jump in)
