bump to hopefully attract people
Ian listened as his name and the name of the duelist he would be up against rang over the crowd. "Alexander Nyne, let's see who you are," Ian spoke to himself as he looked up a face to go with the name. "Hmm, this should be a good time-killer. Come Azu, we have our duel now." The white-skinned boy ran back, excited that the moment had finally come. "Ready?" Ian asked his young partner. He got a cheerful nod in return. "Okay then, let's go."

Ian walked through the crowd to the doors that would lead him onto the duel stage. As he was about to walk through them, a hand grabbed his shoulder from behind, fingernails digging into his arm. Azu turned, but Ian just stopped. "Hey Bell. I was wondering if you'd send me off."

The hand pushed him and spun him around. Cybell Yvenstar looked up at him, on brow raised mockingly. "No, I'm just here to tell you not to lose before I get to kick your ass," she said simply. Behind her, Azu was getting assaulted by Bell's duel spirit, Maiden with Eyes of Blue, and once again Ian couldn't help but notice how similar the girl looked to her spirit. Azu laughed silently as the larger female spirit tickled him.

Ian looked down into his second-in-command's eyes. "Don't worry, I won't lose," he said with confidence, turning and walking through the doors, his spirit following after him.

The girl growled at his back, "You say that, but you're never serious about it." May, her duel spirit, put her arms around the girl's neck and hummed a soft tune. "I bet you're already thinking about what you'll say if you lose," Cybell mumbled. Her duel spirit agreed; that was something he would do.

Name: Cybell Yvenstar

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Personality: Passionate and fiery, Cybell Yvenstar doesn’t care who she burns on her way to the top. If you underestimate her, she will kill you. If you overestimate her, she will rise to meet your expectations. If you judge her for what she is, she will change. Nothing about her can stand being stagnant. She needs to always be doing something, but once she’s gotten into her focus mode, nothing can deter her from seeing through to the end. She loves proving her superiority to others, and she hates losing, but despite both she is a courteous winner and loser.

Brief Bio: Cybell isn't from the obsidian district, and even right now she could be living with her father in the nicer part of the sapphire district. But she wanted her freedom, and she couldn't have that at home. One day, before her father was back from work, Cybell took what she didn't want to leave and walked right out the door, leaving a note for her father that told him where she was going and how to contact her if he absolutely needed to. She bought herself a cheap place in the obsidian district and got right to work building a name for herself in this rough new setting.

A month after running away, she called her father to tell him that she was fine, and ever since that month of silence she's kept in contact with him. The time and distance has greatly improved their relationship, and he's even come to the obsidian district and visited Bell a couple of times to check up on her. Bell was a good duelist, and she slowly but surely recruited friends and beaten enemies into what would become the Silver Dragons gang. And then she ran into Ian during a raid on an enemy gang and everything went downhill from there.

Deck Type: Blue-Eyes Alchemy

Key Card: Blue-Eyes Platinum Dragon

Known Cards: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, White Lightning Fusion, Silver’s Cry

Spirit Partner: Maiden with Eyes of Blue
May (what Cybell calls her) is Bell’s oldest friend. She’s been with the spirit longer than she can remember, and the two are as close as sisters. Whereas Bell is fire and passion and heat, May is water and calm and peaceful. She loves Cybell unconditionally, and the two get along remarkably well. Bell’s Maiden is best friends with Ian’s Azure Child spirit.

NOTE: Everything past here is just for fun, but feel free to do them if you want.

Edit: Sorry Varionus, I was waiting for you to get a post in and didn't see that you wanted me to post first. I posted now.
Love the concept, but I'm not too sure how it would play out.

I'm working on formatting Cybell's deck right now.
I just found something really cool: YGOPro now has an android app! Finally, yugioh on my phone.

My ideas for the twins are similar, but opposite, powers revolving around animals. The first twin's power would be that of a chimera: he would absorb traits by touching the animal or a piece of the animal. (Touching a bird to give himself wings, scales from a snake, gills from a fish, claws from a bear... you get it.) The other twin would be to destroy and create. She'd take the solid material around herself, deconstruct it, and then rebuild it into the shape of an animal construct. Basically, she makes a minion out of whatever's nearby. One uses nature to fuel his power, and the other uses unnatural materials to imitate nature. He could kill a snake and then take on its qualities, or she could make a snake out of the rock beneath her feet.

I'll have their full sheets up tomorrow. Sleep takes priority right now.

Since the powers kind of seem to be related to evolution and genetics, would it be okay to make a pair of twins with completely opposite powers?
You kidding, she gonna wreck shit up and not bother taking names. (Kay, I'll probably have to edit her deck after it's reviewed then.)
I can add in Cybell with her dragon deck to fill out the roster. Ian would totally get more competitive with her around.
Just number your cards and use a simple RNG.
