I mean, I should be able to post more often next week. But I do still have other commitments. This is not my highest priority so if something comes up and I can't post for a day normally I won't even think about it. But if I will be gone for an extended period of time I would be sure to let you know.

Josie approached the group a little more reserved than her usual self. She forced a small wave as she was being introduced to the rest of the group. It wasn’t like Josie to get nervous but something about meeting her new boyfriend's friends made her feel uncomfortable. She felt like she was an outside force pushing in on what was a close group of friends.

“It’s super nice to meet you all.” Josie gave a large smile towards the group. “Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I brought some beer, it’s really popular from where I’m from.” She lifted up on of her hands to show a six pack of New Glarus’s Spotted Cow. “It was hard to come by here so please enjoy it.” Josie handed it to the nearest person in the group and nodded approvingly for the rest of the group to try it.

She looked back at Charlie after clearing on of her hands. “Could you please put my bag in the tent?” Josie looked at Charlie with a pleading face, as she reached out her bag to him.

As she leaned back from handing off her bag she looked over towards one of the girls, she did not seem that interested in meeting Josie at first. “Kaylee, right?” Josie gestured toward the girl in the red bikini. “I really like your tattoo. It looks cool.” Everyone loves being complimented on their tattoos or at least it could get a conversation started.

Josie followed alongside Charlie as he leads her through the sad towards a group of tents all placed in a circle. Though it was getting dark out the tempter was still warm, which was definitely refreshing compared to the cold and rainy Aprils she is used to far up north.

As Charlie made a comment about not wearing a swimsuit Josie shot him a glare and rolled her eyes with a smile. She maneuvered her bag onto her shoulder, then reach down the back of her shirt to pull out a thin blue and white striped fabric. She let go and it snapped back under her shirt. “I’m wearing it under my clothes, you dork.” She smiled up towards the tall boy with a smug facial expression. “I was thinking of trying to make a good impression, so a bikini at a college party doesn’t scream out ‘get to know my personality!’ At least in my opinion.”

As they approached the tents, Josie began to slow down and let Charlie take the lead so that way he can introduce her. At least that was how she was hoping it would go.

“Shit.” Another wrong turn, the roads were so tight inside the city and Josie still was getting used to navigating them. The sun was beginning to set, the street lights turned on and the small beach shops began to close down. Josie was officially running late, something that she never liked to do.

Josie was the type of person to show up 10 minutes before the event was planned to start, just in case the host needed some help. She rarely is ever late, but now she is panicking which is only making it more difficult to concentrate on the directions her GPS is giving her.

Suddenly in the midst of her panic, the GPS spoke the next turn “Turn right on Cass Street.” Josie, of course, darted her eyes back to her phone to see how close Cass Street was. Of course by the time she looked back up she had missed the turn and the GPS started to reroute. It seemed like she was never going to make it to the beach. If this was nearly any other even Josie probably would have given up trying to get there by now, but she was determined and she owed Charlie this one.

Just three days ago was Josie’s 22nd birthday, and of course, Charlie was there. It was really awesome for Charlie to show up since at that point they had only been dating 10 days, he defiantly did not need to go. It ended up being a pretty stressful night for him, with having to meet all of Josie’s friends who were all excited to meet the guy that stole their drinking buddy. So when Charlie had asked her to meet his friends and go to the big beach party she could not refuse.

Back in the car, Josie seemed to finally calm down and was making the correct turns when the GPS blurted them out. Eventually, she was pulling up to the beach and could see Charlie, reasonably anxious, waiting for her.

Josie quickly pulled into an empty spot, shutting her car off as she placed it in the park. Quickly she unbuckled herself and grabbed her phone before jumping out the side of her open door Jeep. Her bare feet hit the ground only to get poked by tiny sharp rocks that sat on the ground. She winced with pain as she continued to make her way to the back of her Jeep grabbing her large back pack, filled with random items that she may need for the rest of the night, and a lukewarm 6 pack.

Josie wore a plain gray tank top, a jean jacket which was wrapped around her waist, and some jean shorts which had some natural tears in it already. Her hair fell down a few inches past her shoulders and was a dark brown shade, which matched her eyes perfectly.

A large smile crossed her face as she made her way to Charlie. After placing her bag and the beer on the ground she gave him a large hug. “I’m sorry it took so long. I am really bad with directions.” As she released the hug her face seemed genuinely sorry about her tardiness. “Did I miss anything?”

Josie quickly picked her bag and her six pack back up, her smile quickly returning back to her face as she looked at Charlie. Sure she did not know him that well, but he was sweet and that was all that truly mattered. “Alright, where should I put my crap?”

Ailbe kept her head down, following the foot prints of the few hunters ahead of her. The snow made her movement even mores slow compared to usual. Her armor was freezing and it clearly was begging to effect Ailbe. Her weapons were heavy especially since she decided that the shield was more valuable than the sword, now she lugged around a giant metal plate on her back at all times.

Ailbe looked around at the others and began to feel out of place. The others were all a few years younger than her and the other females had much smaller figures than her larger stature. She felt a little uncomfortable from the differences but shrugged them off as nerves for her first hunt.

After the first roar, it seemed everyone in the group came to a halt. The man that was leading the group seemed to pull back a bit allowing everyone else to group up. The group finally began to talk and it seemed like a good time to create a strategy for the beast, and a bit of a rest for the heavy armored woman. But of course, there never is a break.

An oddly excited girl decided that it was time to charge into combat leaving the rest of the group behind. Ailbe looked mildly confused as she saw the girl running towards the sound of the beast. But she quickly realized that it was time for action. Following the blue haired girl in a labored jog, Ailbe quickly pulled the shield off her back and placed it on her forearm. “Wait up!” She called out trying to catch up to the younger and sprier hunter.

Fighting Style/Tactics: Ailbe once was a great warrior but has shifted into a more protective role for what ever group she may be paired up with. She is very stable and nearly impossible to knock off her feet once in a defensible position, though her heavy defense comes at a cost of speed. Not being able to run on the target leaves Ailbe as a stationary front line keeping the target separated from the back line. Ailbe does not create plans but instead focuses on the unpredictable situations. Killing the monster is a secondary target while making sure all of her group stays safe is the primary.

Useful Skills: Ailbe may be hard on the battle field but once out of combat she is as soft as warm butter. The woman is extremely friendly and well liked by most people she meets, which allows for some special treatment in some villages. Also as a retired Guild Knight Ailbe still has some sway with the Guild and is allowed some special treatment.

Because of her history in the Guild Knights, Ailbe is well versed in the lands and is able to help direct the group to the nearest land marks or villages.

Personality Buff(s): Ailbe has very caring nature to her, she is almost like a mother bear protecting her cubs in combat. She has seen many lose their lives to monsters, so she will do everything she can to protect others from harm. When ever she is blocking for someone besides herself she gains extra defense against the attack. Her slow speed also allows for stronger fortification techniques.

Outside of combat, she is a jolly person with hundreds of tales to tell around a campfire. Her kind and fun personality always creates good relationships and brings good people together. Though when pushed to the edge she can snap and go into a berserkers rage, very rarely though.

Miscellaneous: Ailbe from a child always wanted to be a monster hunter, dreams of killing the biggest beasts always raced through her head. She trained in armed combat and prepared to fight the beasts as she grew older in age. Unfortunately, she grew up in a family of Guild Knights and that was the expectation that would lead her into that career path. Ailbe did not complain though she was still grateful to be apart of the monster hunting life.

It came as part of the job to take the laws of monster hunting to heart, she knew the price that those paid for not following them. Many eager hunters made the mistake of killing monsters that were not permitted, so Ailbe and her fellow Guild Knights took care of them. It was a difficult job but someone needed to do it, and Ailbe was good at it. As she grew older the job became sickening, she grew tired of the simple combat with the poachers. Always ending in a victory for the Guild and death for the poachers.

Eventually, Ailbe decided enough was enough and at the age of 35 she laid down her uniform and picked up a beginners suit of armor. She wanted to become a Monster Hunter. She retired young for the job, but it was no longer a life she wanted to live. Her fellow knights understood and respected her desition to live her childhood dream. Ailbe was finally going to be a Monster Hunter.

Jurassic Park: Redemption (SergeiRomanov & JackalopeLove)

Maddie sat quietly in the corner as the RV began to get crushed in front of her, she did not want to die but it seemed like she was running out of options. Maddie began to lay on the ground getting as low as possible, in hopes that the Rex would not flatten the RV completely. She watched the front slowly close in and then the giant foot of the beast began to rise up and smash on the center near the hole. As the Rex stopped down beginning the descent of the middle of the RV, there was a pause in the air. Maddie heard a voice.

She saw the Rex begin to look at something and stopped paying attention to the trailer for a moment. Maddie slowly started to stand up, she has hurt badly already, her leg bleeding profusely and a large gash in her head. She didn’t have enough energy to make an escape, she was still stuck but her hope started to rise as she heard the sound of the Rex reeling in pain. Maddie was beyond excited to see Robert appear above her.

“Fuck, uh ok yeah.”

Maddie started to look around on the ground for the gun, she dropped Roberts’s gun back on the other side but last she saw the tranquilizer EJ was holding it. She quickly rushed over to the other side of the RV, being forced to step over Maxwell. Maddie dug through some debris and found the gun underneath. She quickly ran back and handed it to Robert. She did not need to say anything to him when she handed the tranquilizer, words couldn’t express the feelings she was having.

Maddie tried to see what was happening outside of her steel prison but she only could hear noises. The shot was fired then a roar of pain but then the sound of stomping. Maddie realized what was happening and dove to the ground as the Trailer was smashed sending Robert flying and Maddie tossing around the confined space. The whole trailer was flipped back now standing upright instead of on its side. Maddie narrowly avoided being crushed by the same cabinet Maxwell was under. She was now laying prone on the ground, the giant hole the Rex made was now just a few feet away easily able to escape out of. But Maddie was too exhausted from the events and just needed to rest for a few moments.

A loud ringing noise could be heard from the sky, then a mechanic hum followed by loud bangs. It was just out of sight from inside the large opening but the sound could be heard clearly. The buzzing continued to get lower until it finally was ground level. A chipper woman stepped out of the high hide, she was alone and looked surprisingly clean for being in the wild for such a long period. The woman walked joyfully towards the unconscious Rex.

“Magnificent! What a tremendous shot Mr. Tembo. But that is to be expected from a hunter with such vast experience.”

The woman did not touch the Rex but stood very close examining its skin. She continued to walk the length of the Rex until she reached the gaping hole that used to be an eye. She seemed extremely displeased and scrunched her face at the injury. She shrugged at looked over towards Robert who was still on the ground struggling to get up, he also was probably getting fairly annoyed with the strange woman who decided to look at the animal instead of helping him.

“Oh! How rude of myself, I nearly forgot to introduce myself. My name is Alisson Murkowski, please refer to me as Dr. Murkowski, I had to work very hard to get the “Dr.” to be in front of my name. Just a small joke. Now I take it that you are supposed to be my rescue party? That is the real joke. Still impressive shot, I am sure your friend inside the trailer will be very grateful… That is if she is still alive.”

Murkowski walked over towards Robert looking down on him she had a large smile plastered on her face as she joked about the situation. She seemed very joyful, teasing Robert as he laid on the ground injured and bleeding. Something about her was unsettling, her voice, her appearance even her attitude just gave off an untrustworthy vibe. But she did help Robert save Maddie, so she obviously had some kindness to her or at least her motives lined up with theirs at that moment.

“Oh my goodness, Mr. Tembo it would seem you have some major injuries. Well, that is definitely no good for me. Please patch yourself up, we have to keep moving. I will go check out the trailer to see if anyone is still alive.”

Murkowski walked at a casual speed towards the overturned RV. She clearly did not want to help Robert, or even touch him at all. Once she approached the gaping hole in the side she peaked into it with a smile and knocked on the side of the metal as if she was going to enter a room. Maddie looked up at the strange woman confused. Murkowski returned Maddie’s confused expression with a joyful smile and an outstretched hand.

“You must be Madeline Ward, such an honor to meet a decorative soldier. It would seem that Mr. Tembo has a few injuries. I would be ever so grateful if you could fix his shoulder for me. Then we all can get a move on and get off this disgusting island.”

Maddie uneasily grasped the woman’s hand and allowed her to help her out of the death trap of a trailer. Maddie hit the ground hard and uneasy, she was lucky, no broken bones. Her whole body was in pain and covered in bruises and laceration but she was able to walk. Maddie staggered towards Robert she clearly was used to high tense situations and seemed to almost be in a trance as she reaches down for his arm. She did not count or say anything, all she did was a place both hands on his dislocated joint and apply pressure until a cracking sound was heard.

She smiled at Roberts clear pain from being tossed off the trailer, but quickly after fixing his shoulder she succumb to her injuries and exhaustion. Maddie fell to the ground next to Robert, passed out unable to continue.

Murkowski stared at the two of the exhausted rescuers and then back at the giant sleeping Rex, she then peeled off the rubber glove she was wearing when helping Maddie out of the trailer and tossed it on the ground. She shrugged and turned her back towards the pair as she began to look at the Rexes injuries once again.
