Background: Nathan has had a tough start to life, as many people in this day and age do. But he witnessed his parents being murdered by raiders, who came into their home in a small settlement, that hadn't enough weapons to fight back, or people. It was one of the first clean pockets of surface, but that fact wasn't widely known. The raiders didn't care, they got what they wanted. Nathan was probably 11 the day of their deaths, and that was the day he first killed a raider. He killed a few before being shot and left for dead. They were about to finish off the kid, when A passing Russian happened to save his life, with a few well placed shots. They travelled to Metro, where they reside today, and Nathan is still trying to repay the debt of saving his life, maybe he can save the Son of the man.
