"Closest one to here is at Hammerlocke near the stadium," Shiranui stated.
"Can you and Aura sense this Ponyta's family?" Shiranui asked.
"I think that's only true for Charmander," answered Shiranui, "Most Fire-type Pokémon with naked flames have their flames tied to their emotions, their stamina or their level of power; or have body temperatures so high that some parts of them will flash into combustion. Besides, that Ponyta you helped is not like its fiery cousins. Have a listen…" He opened the Pokédex app on his phone and scanned the Ponyta.
"Ponyta: Galar Form, the Unique Horn Pokémon. A Psychic type. This Pokémon will look into your eyes and read the contents of your heart. If it finds evil there, it promptly hides away."
"Looks like you might have a challenge on your hands," Shiranui commented, knowing how it felt to train a Pokémon that evolved at a point where most Pokémon would be fully evolved on account of training a Larvesta. He took out the two Poké Balls he purloined from Billie and Kidd the first time they used the Rocket Prize Master gacha machine, activated their release mechanism and opened them. Unlike the white light that normally issued from a Poké Ball, the light was turquoise in colour as a Drilbur and a Scolipede formed. The pamphlets that came with the Pokémon had information about the Pokémon from their species name and category to what moves they knew. "Drilbur, Scolipede, I understand if you're a little shocked about what's happening right now, but I just released you two from Team Rocket's ownership," Shiranui calmly stated. He sent Nekomata out to act as a psychic translator.
"Released?" Drilbur asked.
"Are you meaning to tell us we're no longer going to be in that cruel place?" Scolipede added.
"That's exactly what I'm saying," Shiranui answered.
"THANK YOU!!" the two liberated Pokémon said, dog-piling Shiranui and feeling enough gratitude to attract the legendary Shaymin if it was anywhere nearby.
"You two are welcome," replied Shiranui, barely tolerating the 209 kg weight of a mole and a large centipede, "Scolipede, please get off of me."
"Sorry," Scolipede apologised. With an anime sweat drop, Scolipede got off of Shiranui.

"What do you two want to do with your lives now that you're free?" Shiranui asked. The two Pokémon had roguish grins on their faces.
"Do you really think you could just snatch us away from Team Rocket and release us back into the wild…" Drilbur answered.
"…And not have that good deed go unpunished?" Scolipede appended, "You're not getting out of that one easily!"
"We had one thing drilled into our heads at that place;" Drilbur contextualised, "Obey anyone who opens our Poké Balls."
"You opened our Poké Balls to free us, you gain our loyalty whether you like it or not," Scolipede finished, "So make with the Poké Balls! We want in!"
"Er, alright," Shiranui acknowledged, not expecting an aggressive desire to join his team. He produced and readied an Ultra Ball and a Net Ball. Drilbur picked the Ultra Ball and Scolipede went into the Net Ball. Both balls pinged their successful captures immediately and Shiranui had two new friends. He named the Drilbur Mogura and the Scolipede Mukade before checking his Pokédex on these two.
"Drilbur, the Mole Pokémon. A Ground type. It brings its claws together and whirls around at high speed before rushing toward its prey.
"Scolipede, the Megapede Pokémon. A Poison type and the evolved form of Whirlipede. Scolipede engage in fierce territorial battles with Centiskorch. At the end of one of these battles, the victor makes a meal of the loser."
"I heard of their feuds with the Centiskorch species; but wow, she's way more tsundere than I am," Nekomata stated, gobsmacked over Mukade's personality.
"Wait, back up; 'she'?" Shiranui asked.
"Check your new friends' summaries if you don't believe me," Nekomata suggested. Shiranui did just that on his phone and found both his new friends were female and they both had their hidden abilities.
"Timid little thing, isn't it?" Shiranui commented when he saw Dreepy hide away.
"Drapion is at least respectable," Shiranui commented, "But a Magikarp? You got unlucky with that one. Manectric, zap Magikarp with a Thunderbolt. Jen, Aura can handle the Drapion." Manectric had returned to Shiranui's side before he made the call and gave Shiranui her loot. She then turned to Magikarp and zapped the fish into a one-hit knockout. "Go help Liam," Shiranui instructed his Manectric. Manectric nodded and set off to get Liam free.
“Do you want to catch one too,” Jen ask Shiranui as she adjusted her umbrella?

"I'll pass," Shiranui declined.

"Yup," Liam said. "I am a 'Dragon Master' anyway." The heroes continued on the path. Liam carried the Rotom phone in his left hand and an umbrella in the other. Eventually, Liam saw a small island. with a bridge going to it. He commented that They were in the area that Rihan said. While looking around, Liam saw a Dreepy trying to climb a tree to reach some berries, only to be knocked back down by an angry Skwovet. Dreepy fell to the ground before Liam could catch it. The Dreepy began sobbing. When he saw Liam approach, he while still sobbing quickly got behind a rock big enough to hide behind and peaked out from around it.
"It's alright, Dreepy. I won't harm you." Liam said in a kind voice. Liam pulled out an Orren Berry from his bag and slowly reached it out to the Dreepy. Dreepy cautiously reached out to grab the berry when a cube landed on the ground next to them.
"Oh,f-" Liam said before it activated, trapping him and Dreepy inside. Billie and Kidd came into view riding a pair of Pidgeot. A Wingull followed behind them and dropped a machine similar to what Jessie and James have been using. They plugged an Amulet Coin into the slot and turned the crank and two balls were plopped out of the machine, They saw Liam was captured and knew his friends wouldn't bee too far behind.

When Shiranui saw Liam get captured, he sent his Manectric out and had her sneak up and swap the Poké Balls they vended from the machine with the same quantity of empty Poké Balls when they least expected through the move Switcheroo. "Well, well, well; if it isn't Willie and Skid," Shiranui greeted with a roguish grin, "Still using illegal tech to catch Pokémon, I see. Take my advice and stick to Poké Balls when in the wilds—they're easier to transport than capture cubes and you'll look a lot less suspect. Oh, and by the way, Pidgeot in Galar are so passé." He hoped to distract the Team Rocket duo enough for Manectric to pull off the sneaky switch.
"That figures," Shiranui commented, "Looking at its moveset I can see why they think it's weak: it has few moves that match its types and it evolves into Drakloak at a point where most Pokémon are fully evolved."
"Knowing you and given Raihan's speciality type, it might be of the draconic persuasion," Shiranui speculated.
"In this case it's the difference between having a living bass guitar and a living six-string electric guitar," Shiranui continued, "The more boisterous Toxel will evolve into the Amped Form."
