The three took their positions and chanted, "Jan, ken, pon!" On pon, Liam shot rock, Shiranui shot paper and Jen shot scissors—a deadlock tie. It was on the second round when the decision was made as Liam shot paper and Shiranui and Jen both shot scissors.

"How?" Shiranui asked, knowing that the odd person would miss out, "Roll a die, janken*, draw straws?"

"Apparently Calyrex is trying to be one with their mounts," Shiranui speculated, "We may be battling both at once."

Froslass was quite surprised to see both Calyrex appear to tame each horse. "Well, I guess two of you will get a chance" She said with a smile before bringing up a barrier to protect everyone.

"Which of us wants a mounted Calyrex?" Shiranui asked.

The hair starts glowing with a psychic aura as not one, but two Calyrex show up, each sporting a flower petal. Each Calyrex uses their psychic powers to combine the braided hair with the petals they had until they formed a set of horse reins. Afterwards, one leaped onto Glastrier's back and the other did the same, landing on Spectrier's back. "Get back!" Shiranui shouted, backing up to keep some distance as the legendary horses started bucking and thrashing while the two Calyrex attempted to tame them.

"I don't see them around," Shiranui answered, "Here's hoping their majesty shows up before our equine visitors run out of their favourite food."

"Feels like it too," Shiranui added after feeling the temperature drop.

"That being the next phase," Shiranui stated, "Does anyone remember what we do next?"

"I expect no less from Numeru's mate," Shiranui praised.

"Those two are so annoying," Shiranui commented, "Let me guess: they used a capture cube to purloin a Pokémon."
