» When Roger arrived in the USA at the ripe age of 21, he needed a job, lest he become homeless. Turns out he was savvy with early soundboards and computers, and the job naturally lead him to the AWE, where he's been for 12 years.

» Roger usually wears casual clothes, but doesn't mind wearing a suit or anything else if he has to. His pot belly often sticks out of the bottom of whatever clothes he's wearing, except on the rare occasions where Roger decides a belt is necessary.

» Roger cares about the goings on of the business, and seems to get along with others just fine whenever they're face to face, even willing to be an extra in backstage segments when necessary. Unfortunately for the guy, once his back is turned, he is known as the resident creep of the AWE. He does try to get along with everyone, but is unnecessarily flirtatious and downright creepy at times with much of the women's roster. Whenever someone mentions "Roger from sound" the one they're talking to instantly knows who it is, and all participants in the conversation take a moment to remember one time or another where Roger has made them uncomfortable.

Ian arrived at the building only an hour and a half before the show began, and immediately made his way over to the card tonight.

Nothing.

"Come on!" Ian placed his hands firmly on his hips, then took a glance at the tournament roster. He got to beat Kid Neon, then lose to the eventual winner in his next match. Not too bad, in hindsight. Irritating, sure, that Owen wasn't going far in the tourney, but at least he was going over someone.
"At least I've got a bunch of life show dates." In fact, Owen Sparks was the perfect character to work live shows, as it allowed him to gain experience traveling the world and enhancing his talent. In fact, Kid Neon was a common opponent at the live shows, and the two worked well together, their fast-paced styles meshing quite well.

After being notified by a crew member, Ian passed by a familiar Sexton Love regurgitating his booze, and into a room with a green screen and a camera. The producer leaned over the camera, attempting to look out the door.

“Is uh… Is Sexton ok?” His question was quickly answered with another voice outside.
“Jesus fucking christ, man! Get a drink of water, clean yourself up and go sit down!" Ian looked out to find Oscar trying to pull Sexton up.

“I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Ian replied, turning back to the cameraman. “Do you want me to get made up?”
“Yeah, read over your lines while you’re at it.” The producer signalled to a young man, who hesitantly gave Ian his script, hoping he wouldn’t shred it up this time. Ian took it kindly, and walked away to get his body paint sorted.

Before long Ian made his way to the makeup area, finding a seat in front of a mirror. He swivelled his body around, and found one of the makeup artists near him. “Hey uh, Tay, right? Do you mind doing my shoulder pad paint? I have to film one of those live show commercials.”

Zachary Hanson entered the centre where that night’s show took place, and found that few had arrived yet. Granted, it was early in the day, but the ring and entrance set pieces hadn’t even been set up yet. Before anything else, Zack dropped his gym bag and helped get these things done. He had always been a hard worker, above all else, and simply standing by and watching others do the work had never been part of his lifestyle.

Once this was done, Zachary returned behind the curtain to find the card had been put up, as well as the bracket for a tournament. Once Zack read the first segment of the show, he knew why. Turned out Drayden would be hanging up the championship, and that the tournament would determine the new champion. Getting into the final four was no easy feat. And even though wrestling isn’t real, the climb to the top still is, and only hard work and dedication will make that happen. “Turns out Rhys has proved his worth. Should be good to see what they do with him as champion.”

And with that, Zack left to get to the local gym, to get prepared for his match with Caiden. What they said about him was true. Caiden really was one of the best, so him losing in the first round of this tournament was… strange, really. "It'll be interesting to see what creative wants to do with him. I'll have to talk with Kevin later."

He uses all the easily identifiable moves, sans high-flying and acrobatic styles. He likes to trash talk while in submissions/rest holds, and enjoys playing with the crowd's emotions, sometimes letting the face seem like they're going to get off a big move and then striking with a low blow when the ref isn't looking. He doesn't mind playing dirty, as it is just a means to an end, the end being the AWE Championship.

His promo work after 10 years of experience leads to him being able to play with the crowd and improv when they start chanting something. He purposely riles them up by beginning every promo acting as a face would, then insulting his rival at the time, which easily gives him some heat.

» Zack is a well-respected and valuable member of the backstage crew, not just because of his in-ring work, but from the years of respect he's gained helping out the back. Each night he gets in early, leaves late and makes sure everyone does their bit in helping the show run smoothly. Whenever he's got spare time he sits down with creative to see where they think his character should be headed, and always tries to help them decide on the best choice for Wake.

As such, Zack understands and is confident in the booking decisions in relation to his character, whether it be win, lose or draw. He's fine with helping the young ones get over, since he has been there, and will do everything in his power to help them succeed. Zachary cares deeply about the business, and it shows.

» In his time Zachary has had many shots at the big one, the AWE Championship, but has always come up short in the big matches. The closest he got to officially owning the belt was when he knocked out the referee, allowing him to strike his then-rival Drayden down with weapons. However, the decision was reversed, causing quite the stir-up and made his and Drayden's rivalry all the better.
» Zachary is a former three-time AWE Intercontinental Champion, and all three of those runs were quite meaningful, helping Zachary ascend to the upper-midcard rather quickly. The last of these runs ended around 9 months ago, but all of them lasted over 3 months. Since then, Zachary has taken a bit more of a back seat, returning to the midcard, but still making (failed) attempts at championships every now and again. When he isn't being used in storylines or championship matches, Zachary is the perfect guy for a 3-Way/4-Way #1 Contender Match (Think of Sami Zayn/Baron Corbin, in this respect).
» Zachary also had an short stint as AWE Tag Team Champion in a time when the tag division was particularly weak, teaming with a rather eccentric fellow named Senji Veryhurt, a stereotypical strong style Japanese wrestler.

» Since he really has only just begun, Owen hasn't developed a broad moveset, but is leaning towards a risk-taking grappler/high flier, with little time for technical/brawling styles. Owen isn't what one would call a polished or magnificent wrestler, but he shows promise in the moves he can do well. Before entering his angle with Zachary Wake, Owen was very much a "Five Moves of Doom" type wrestler, and since the story has started, Wake has been helping Owen to expand his moves.

However, though he is a face, Sparks has recently become the apprentice to Zachary Wake, a heel who doesn't mind cheating to win. And it seems like Owen may soon adopt his teacher's philosophy in an attempt to stop his shaky win:loss ratio.

He's still developing his skills on the mic, but like all young wrestlers, he has some semblance of a natural charisma that is being pushed to be honed through promos either just before or after his matches.

» Since he is relatively new to AWE Ian hasn't build himself a reputation quite yet. As such, only a few wrestlers really know Ian, and can put up with his slightly cocky attitude. He knows he isn't the best as that is just ignorant, but knows that he was picked up by AWE after only 1 year in the business meaning that the scouters either overestimated his talents, or they know that he has a lot of room to grow. Ian likes to believe it's the latter.

Regardless of wrestling talent, Ian is loyal to his close buddies, and is constantly trying to improve himself - both physically and mentally - through the help of those friends. He recognizes that there is a lot to be improved about himself, but can't pinpoint those problems by himself. As such, he often finds himself being arrogant to others, and potentially racist at times if he isn't careful.

Despite these flaws, there's a reason Ian nails the happy-go-lucky gimmick: It still comes to him naturally.
