-the hunt: a bad idea-

The rabbit didn't notice the goblin until it heard feet on some rocks and it looked up just in time to see the goblin jump down to attack it. The Rabbit realized it didn't have enough time to run so instead it charged the goblin with its horn. It jumped up but because of the numerous pebbles around them it couldn't aim for the goblins chest properly its horn instead caused a wound on the goblins left arm as it jumped towards the rock...

-on the hunt: First successful hunt

The rabbit had not seen the movement the goblin made before it was over. The rabbit got hit in its side with the spear it pierced through its leg injuring it and keeping it from running any farther at its true speed. The wound was fatal as it tried to hop away from the goblins but it only got a few hops before it dropped to the floor dead. The goblins completed their first hunt and it was successful. The Rabbit laid their ready to be picked apart

-continued hunt-

The rabbit in front of them lifted its head up looking around checking to make sure it was safe it kept drinking quietly from the water. Even the smallest of animals had a sense of checking their surroundings. The stream itself was small and carried a few fish down the stream. The surrounding area was filled with large stones that could easily hide the duo however it also had pebbles scattered around the are making getting in close difficult as it would cause noise and wouldn't offer any stable footing for any fighter. If they weren't careful they would soon be skewered by its horn.

-on the hunt: The Ambush!-

The rabbit was minding its own business until the first goblin came and surprised him of course the rabbit tried to run unknowingly heading towards the next goblin. The Rabbit was soon learning it was surrounded tried to get away using its superior speed and agility to avoid the strikes of the second goblin and make one last attempt to freedom. Sadly that proved to be invalid as it soon saw the third goblin. The Rabbit then gave up on flight it realized it wouldn't get away so instead it decided to fight. It ran picking up as much speed as it could to try and pierce its horn through the last goblin ready to kill it in order to free itself. If the goblin were to survive the attack it would need to think fast...

Grandpa soon watched as the others were left behind. The two that were left were the odd ones of the group and he knew that those two could have a hard time surviving but that was because the scrawny one which he named Skubli was by no doubt the runt in the litter as their was always one after all. He had to wait for him to come out of his corner as he was fed enough to last so that he could go back into the corner and hide away. No question that he was sneaky but Grandpa also knew that sneaky wasn't the same as smart or strong.

The other one though which he named Stegs was something of a mystery to Grandpa as he seemed to be lazy at first but he could sense it was a ploy. What he couldn't figure out is if he was a leader or a follower or if he had the brains to survive out in the world. He couldn't interfere though he couldn't coddle the young ones or they will never thrive. He laughed a bit when Stegs actually tripped over Skubli and soon he was left inside the cave waiting till nightfall when the young ones would soon return after all it gets much more dangerous at night out their.

As the two would set out together in a different direction from the trio before they would soon come across a horned rabbit drinking in a nearby stream where fish were sure to live...

As they got hidden within the brush the rabbit poked its head up as it heard the rustling of leaves. It ran its paw over its long ear as if trying to see if it was just hearing things. When he saw no movement it hopped a few inches away to another brush and started eating the berries on it. The small clearing they found themselves in was perfect for hiding around the rabbit to ambush it however if they made any noise above the whisper the Rabbit will take it as a threat and either attack head on and skewer them or run off as quick as possible making them loose their first target.

It was up to how they approached the rabbit that will determine a successful hunt...

That's a difficult question to answer. Since your only goblins and not even a week old I'd say that your limited to basic weaponry like hard sticks or just throwing a rock.

But I'd say you need to clearly state I'd you grabbed or created a weapon otherwise I will assume you are bare handed
