Reporting in! I'll get to work on the CS this evening and send it on when it's done!
I'm interested, but for the uninitiated, how would playing it work out? Would we all need to be online at the same time? I don't want to join if it'll leave people waiting for me for hpours.
YES! Words alone cannot properly convey the amount of interested I am in this.
I'll be really brief: I just want to do something with vampires. I don't care what sort of pairing or situation, I just want to write some stuff about undead mosquito people.

I like my vampires to be dark, tragic figures, but if you want something a little cheerier, I'm open to any ideas. A few of the ones I've had knocking around are as follows:

-Undead Anonymous: A voluntary organisation set up to help the undead deal with modern life pairs up volunteers with local needy vampires who may be unable to adjust to the 21st Century. This may not necessarily be a mutually amicable relationship - many volunteers end up with grumpy, irritable monsters to look after, but they're determined to help them succeed. (Now I read this back it strikes me more like the synopsis for a strange anime series...)
-Newly Undead: A person who has just been relieved of their pulse is trying to readjust to life without sunlight, and struggling to keep their previous relationships together while also suppressing the all-consuming urge to feast on the blood of the people they care about.
-Oops, I did it again: Person falls for vampire, or vampire falls for person, or vampire falls for vampire.

I never said I was a literary genius. I can usually manage at least 300 words a post, and I'm not looking for a lightning-fast response since I'm busy most of the week with university (Sport & Exercise Science is a real degree, honest!) Once we actually start talking about settings and ideas in depth, I will hopefully be a bit more impressive than my offerings up in that list.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hugs,

James
@jbeil I'd prefer the Bretonnian, but if you're really set on a Skink...have at it. Better be a damned good character sheet though, I'll say that now.

Challenge accepted! I'll get working on it when I'm home from uni tonight!
Just to confirm - is the Skink That Could a complete no? If so, I'll get to work on my Brettonnian knight-errant.
Ooh, I am torn. I'm about as anglo-saxon as one can get without being called Aethelstan, but a band of celtic-britons defending against/running from the saxon invader does sound fun!
Interested/10. Always up for extraplanetary goings-on.
Assuming that lizardmen are a no-no (nobody ever wants to know about the Little Skink That Could!), how about a Bretonnian knight errant?
Is there a limit on characters? If I'm allowed, I'd also like to double with a seasoned veteran who's been through Emperor-only-knows how many campaigns and managed to lose more or less every limb and is more a collection of bionic bits than a person.

After all, what's a war if there's no insanely devout mech-man to creep everyone out?
