Elsie stands at an above average, five feet, six inches. Her long blonde hair falls in choppy layers, and is usually tied up with spare fabrics and the occasional colored ribbon. She has the same emerald green eyes as her brother, though hers are generally sharper. Her lips are thin and normally set in a firm line. The skin of her face is mostly clear, and aside from a few nicks, scratches, and bumps so is the rest of her skin. Elsie's posture is rigid, her shoulders thrown back just barely and her chest slightly puffed. Generally, Elsie dresses in plain clothing. There are times when she'll wear a colored shirt, but it's unlikely.
Personality:
Elsie, unlike her brother, is rather quiet and collected to the point of being tense. When she was a child, she was quite sly, keeping to herself and moving unnoticed throughout Trost. Elsie is heavily reactive and hostile under moments of stress, and rarely ever in control of what's going on around her. Despite this, she's a skillful girl, and able to keep herself from taking too much damage physically or emotionally.
When it comes to her friends, she's incredibly loyal and respectful. She gives her trust a bit too easily in the eyes of some, which may be a result of her empathetic nature. Though her outer shell is cold and stern, she usually understands the emotions others are feeling, and does her best to react appropriately.
Biography:
Born in the Southern district of Trost, Elsie spent most of her early years growing alongside her twin brother Ezra. When it came to socializing, Ezra had matured before her. While she learned to speak a couple of months before him it was rare for her to talk for herself. Her brother had seemingly taken the reins, and Elsie was fine with this.
When they entered school, the dynamic was the same as it was at home. Elsie remained quiet, while her brother blossomed into a social butterfly. Though Elsie had a few friends of her own it was more common for her to follow her brother around silently, not realizing that this stalking made him look strange in his groups of friends. It wasn't until her brother began openly picking on her outside of their home that she began to express her own interests. Developing a strong bond with her parents during those times, Elsie rarely went out of the house to play. Instead, she did chores for her mother and occasionally her older neighbors.
One day, on a laundry run between houses, Elsie stumbled across a scene that was troubling for her young mind. Her brother was pinned beneath an older boy, his face bloodied. Loyal to her twin, Elsie dropped the laundry she was carrying and attacked the older child. While she wasn't stronger than the boy, her attack allowed Ezra enough time to slip out from under him, and the two promptly ran back to their home.
That night, Elsie and Ezra had a heart-to-heart that ended in discussions of their future. Neither of them wanted to be stuck in Trost for the rest of their lives. Elsie in particular was interested, not in what awaited them beyond the walls, but in what they could make of themselves from the inside. She had heard her parents talk of the different military branches, and knew of their prestige. Together, over the course of a few weeks, they came to the conclusion that the military would be the best choice for both of them.
After arguing with her mother for a day and a half, Elsie was able to convince her that they would be alright. Of course, it helped that their father was on their side. The eve of the next day, the twins were being proudly sent off by their parents, going to enlist in the military.
Relationships:
Lisbeth Taffer - Mother Unlike most people, Elsie was openly close with her mother. She always went to her, rather than her father, to talk about almost everything. Though her mother was upset about their decision to enter the military, it was Elsie who helped talk her down.
Tanner Taffer - Father Elsie was also close with her father. Though she didn't go to him for advice, she respects him deeply. He helped Elsie when it came to her mother's resistance, and for that she's especially grateful.
Ezra Taffer - Twin Brother Elsie has always loved her brother. Though he had a period where his dislike for her ran deep, she was always watching his back and supporting him from afar. Now that they're closer, she's especially content.

Appearance:
Standing at five feet, ten inches, Ezra is still in the midst of filling out. His shoulders and neck are rather slender and his limbs stretch for miles. Despite his lanky build he carries himself with a surprising level of fluency. His posture is normally confident, without much in the way of evident tension. His sandy blonde hair is unmanageable despite his attempts at slicking it down. He has bright emerald green eyes that are generally full of emotion. His lips rest in a slight grin, and are easily the most expressive feature on his face. His civilian clothing consists of plain, beige t-shirts and trousers with the occasional added jacket depending on the weather.
Personality:
Like most other kids his age, Ezra is still finding himself. He's quite a boisterous teenager, approaching things with a youthful attitude. Ezra is a casual man, without much weighing on him. He's known to try to cheer up those whose company he enjoys. Despite his charisma, he's generally sarcastic and abrasive. More often than not, he toes the line when it comes to acceptable humor, and despite having been punished for it numerous times it seems he hasn't learned his lesson.
Like most others in his age group, he's an athletic young man with a strong will. He often attempts to take the lead on group efforts, though his private demeanor holds him back. He struggles to associate on an empathetic level with others. When things come down to the wire, he does his best not to panic aimlessly. Instead, he'll throw out ideas and hope something sticks.
Biography:
Ezra was born and raised in the Trost district within Wall Rose. From youth, he was enamored by his family, especially his father. He took cues from the older man, learning how to socialize despite being in diapers. He was the more expressive sibling by far, and though he didn't see it at the time, his beaming personality was squashing his sister's.
Upon entering grade school, Ezra had little difficulty when it came to making friends. Despite this, his sister hung around him far too much for his tastes, making him seem weaker in the eyes of those he wished to befriend. Because of this, he took the hint from his peers and began to torment his younger sister. From that age forward, he did this with those he didn't like or didn't want communicating with him.
While his sister stayed at home and made a recluse out of herself, Ezra thrived in his community. Though he wasn't the kindest, he thought himself to be the most well-received member of his group of friends. Of course, his theory proved to be incorrect when one day he found himself staring down the eldest member of his friends group. They had gotten into a squabble over something. Whether it was a girl, or the fact that Ezra always called the boy blockhead and it had finally gotten on his last nerve, Ezra was unsure. Either way, he found himself in a fight he was sure to lose.
Pinned on the floor, it wasn't until a surprise attack from none other than his twin sister came that he was able to crawl out from underneath the larger boy. Booking it home with his sister in tow, Ezra's petty opinions of his sister were dropped. They had a long conversation, which ended with them discussing their futures within the wall. And the next day, they had another discussion, and another, and another, until finally they determined that they would enlist in the military together. A long argument with their mother later, and they were on their way to the Cadet Corps.
Relationships:
Lisbeth Taffer - Mother Ezra's relationship with his mother is strained due to his wanting to serve in the military, but otherwise average. He's not quite as attached to his mother as some may be, but he's not cold toward her either.
Tanner Taffer - Father Ezra's far more inclined towards his father than his mother. They share a strengthened love for each other, especially since Tanner was supportive of his children's desire to enter the military.
Elsie Taffer - Twin Sister Despite having a rocky childhood with his twin, Ezra and Elsie have always been close. They decided to go into the military together, and plan on joining the same branch when the time comes.
Appearance Miles is a boy of average height with brown eyes that are never too strained. His style of dressing can pretty loose. He's well-toned but it isn't obvious underneath his clothes. The boy's hair is of dark blonde color and brushed to the side. It's length reaching to the tail end of his end neck. His shoulders tend to be relaxed but he stands up with enough confidence that is apparent.
Height 5'9
Personality Miles generally has a cool and laid-back attitude. He doesn't take things too seriously. In fact he prefers to keep things simple rather than complicated. That isn't to say he is a simpleton himself though. Far from it actually as he is more of a calculating type under the surface of his playful nature.
He isn't afraid to speak his mind, even under the most stern of circumstances. This can get him in trouble from time to time but his breezy nature isn't undaunted even under those situations. His tongue-in-cheek nature generally is born of his nihilistic mindset. It's one in which he sees an almost comical meaninglessness in life. For that reason, his view on ethics and morals are very lenient.
Still, he can't be said to be heartless. As despite his cold outlook he can't help but pity mankind's defiance of certain death. So much so that he can even feel inspired by it at times. In fact, Miles' wish is to have as much as a peaceful and relaxing life as he can before his number is up. He wants that lazy life for everyone.
Because Miles' was good at sensing the unease of his family at home, he is naturally able to sense the unease of others. Thus he isn't truly able to live a carefree life if the anxiety of the Titans can bother others and in turn bother himself. That's why he wants to put off humanity's annihilation for as long as he can.
Relaxed as he can be, Miles can certainly flip the switch into a more serious note when things desperately call for it. Such as in combat. At moments like this, he is certainly able to cut off any unnecessary sentimentalism. He doesn't also himself to be too riled up under pressure.
Branch Trainee
Biography Miles was raised within a family of butchers who slaughter animals and sell their flesh for different services. With his household consisting of his Uncle, Step-Aunt, Grandmother, Mother and Younger brother. His Father not being as home as much, actually being a member of the Survey Corps that investigates outside the walls. Because of this, Miles doesn't have much of memories of his father. With most of them being vague recollections as the years pass.
A life without his father wasn't too bad in itself, but he would feel a sense of unease amongst his family members. Throughout his years through this household, Miles would work and cultivate his skills at his family's butcher shop. The blood and guts of animals became a common occurrence for him. Of course, those were just animals. Miles knew well the clear distinction between the lives of a human and an animal doomed for slaughter. Yet there was no way he could know what the fate of a family camping trip would be.
Out in the woods where his family was camping, Miles was separated from them after walking off too far. Searching for his way back to safety, he found something unexpected....A group of people being attacked by a bear. From what he could gather, they seemed to be a family of three. Those three people were mauled to death right before his very eyes.
He couldn't do anything in response to the horrible sight, only be stunned and paralyzed until it was all over. With the massacre finished, the bear turned it's eyes onto Miles. He knew that his fate was decided. However, Miles was surprised to see himself still alive. For whatever reason, the bear had not slaughtered the boy despite clearly making eye contact.
It simply left him there alone with the mangled corpses of the people he didn't know. From that moment forward, Miles' view on life was greatly shifted. He never knew why his life was spared, but the reason didn't matter too much to him. Seeing the lives of people so casually tossed aside brought back the images of animals that his family would slaughter.
The traumatic event caused Miles' world view to meld into one that saw mankind not too much unlike the other creatures that were on this planet. Every being has their time to live and to die at a certain point in time. That's an obvious fact everyone knows but that line of thinking was brought to there surface for him. To him, the only reason he survived that encounter was because fate had decided his time wasn't up yet.
When all was said and done, he realized that the looming threat of the Titans was inevitable and all was pointless in existence. This sense of nihilism plagued Miles for quite some time. That is, until his father came home one day. When asked why he decided to join the Survey Corps instead of enjoying a peaceful life closer to his family, he answered with this, "I got bored of butchering animals, but butchering is my only skill. So I decided to butcher Titans, that's all it is,".
Faced with such a ridiculous answer, Miles could only laugh. So what was life simply a joke? He pondered that. Then the next day his father was killed in combat by a Titan. It was a heartbreaking matter but this only cemented Miles' conclusion. That there was no meaning to any of it all. That no one truly had control over their own lives.
Despite it all, Miles was able to smile. His nihilistic view had not changed, rather it was his attitude towards it all. He accepted the world for what it was, graciously so even. There was no escaping the onslaught of the Titans. He knew that, but he decided to join the Training Corps anyways. There was a simple reason why, because he knew even soon-to-be-dead animals fought to their very last breath.

Character Theme
That's the most "anime" anime character I've seen in a long time.
Mora was simplicity at her finest, at least when in came to terms of fashion. Her style choices leaned towards plain shirts and pants, both falling a bit too loose on her wiry frame. Though her wild-fire hair and mischievous emerald eyes brought more than enough color to her persona. If not then the thick scar that puckered from her tawny skin, down her left eye sparked many a conversation. Not that the girl's mouth wouldn’t do so on its own.
Unlike her older brothers, Mora favored her mother in terms of stature. She was slim with lean muscle hidden behind the puppy-fat of youth. Her height was stunted—as she would put it—at a modest 167 cm. Though it was her father’s spirit that embodied the teen. His reckless and curious nature was now her own down to her core. Leaving her with little scars marred between sprinkled freckles and rough to the touch calloused and worn hands.
A beloved daughter.
Blessed be the mother who bares her first daughter, for it is a bond not easily broken.
Or at least that is how it’s supposed to go. Mora was often plagued by guilt-addled tongues reminding her of the pure joy her mother experienced after finally having a girl after six wild and unruly boys. Though much to her mother’s despair, and probably others, the youth was more interested in following the large footprints of her elder brothers than her mother’s smaller ones.
She thrived on the familial competitive nature that bonded her brothers. Mora would pester and push until she went through them all one-by-one in any challenge her spirited mind could think of. And should she fail? Then she would keep reissuing the fight until she won. Though parts of her suspected a handful of her wins were given to her just to get her to shut up.
And while she was the spirit carbon copy of her old man, Mora did happen to find some common threads in which to bond with her mother. In fact she was quite fond of learning to stitch and sew; a favored hobby of her mother's. Side by side she would help mend and repair torn clothes from a rough day of work and play. And the day she tumbled off the old rickety tower and split the skin on her face she was thrilled to learn that the skill-set helped in medicinal uses as well. As her mother quickly, and painfully, stitched her back together.
Despite it all though Mora was never able to shake her need for something more. Something bigger than her quaint little town. More thrilling than who could reach the downtown well faster. And taller than the cobbled stone buildings and houses that her fingers and toes had grasped while she scampered up and over their sides. And all of that inspiration, yearning, and fire ended up turning her eyes and setting her heart on the one thing that actually made her mother cry, the military.
Once upon a time (yesterday) I glanced at the recent visitors section of my profile, and my eye was caught by a certain profile picture. A certain princess from a certain game. Out of curiosity I looked at that person's posts in the hopes of finding an rp inspired by said certain game, and while I didn't find anything of the sort I did spot something else interesting...
So uh... To cut a long story short, this rp has tempted me. Would you still happen to be accepting new characters?
Definitely. Looking for new players is always a given bonus.
