ORDER OF THINGS:

So that everyone is caught up - the way this is happening is that the first few posts we make (two or three) will feature the breach. Just a short prologue to get everyone into the minds of their characters, but also to show how the breach affects different locations. It's not necessarily interwoven between the characters (unless people want). For example: any people who might be in somewhere like Shiganshina will have a much different experience of the breach as they're suffering from the after effects and evacuation, whereas those in the Quinta district (in the West) directly face the breach itself.

Once we're out with that, we'll timeskip two years to the initiation of their training, and start to march things along from there. Sorry for the need to clear up, should've gotten onto this earlier in the week but was horrendously ill lmao

So, if I'm understanding this correctly from what you've told me so far here and elsewhere:

-2 years from breach to training
-5 years for training

Or is it 3 years for training to round out to a total of 5 years? I'm kind of confused on where we're going with this.

Okay okay, so people aren't confused, I'll lay it out here.

844 is the year of the Breach. Two years after that (846), it's the beginning of our character's training. Training however lasts three years, so the actual return to the West will begin in 849.
@SaintJiub@Kuro@psych0pomp@TGM Accepting your sheets now!

@FalloutJack Just rereading yours now so I can catch up on details
Mfw I make more errors in my sheet lmao

Thanks! Been a hot minute since I read the manga, and I had to drag the details from the dredges of my memory like a frog through sludge. So, do let me know if I've messed anything up. 16 is the starting age at the intro. Did I math wrong or misunderstand something? Both are wildly feasible and prone to happen at the same time. No one will ever accuse me of being smart.

No worries. So the gap between the pre-trainee breach and the training itself is two years in this setting, so basically just temporarily take 2 years off the character's age for the intro and then add them back on when training begins. The training arc won't be too long, mostly the drill instructor intro, a little social gatherings to form some early bonds, and then one big training exercise a month or so ahead, before we get into the actual meat of the story

i'm going to call him palomino

So others can read, I'll be looking to accept sheets tomorrow, so for now, the lad is back under a new name lmao

Massive correction on my behalf, I realise the character sheet had aligned "112th" instead of "108th" for the Training Corps regiment. Skewered it a bit, my apologies! Those who put it in, just change it over and we good
