I have group RP dating back to AOL days - so like 94? 93? Somewhere in there.

Bio
I've been playing since AOL days (I just dated myself, didn't I?), and I've been looking to get more writing into my life again. I do paragraphs, consider myself advanced, and write in the third person. I live in the Eastern US timezone; I'm 30+ and prefer mature RP partners. You don't have to be my age by any means, but that maturity needs to be there. XD
I can post multiple times during the day and would love to find other folks who can do the same. I write paragraphs, and the amount can vary depending on the situation, but you can typically expect 2-3. I may go a bit shorter if the scene calls for it, such as if there are a lot of conversations or a location transition. I can also go a bit longer if I'm diving into the way my characters think/feel, setting a scene, or happen to get into it. If I churn out 50 paragraphs, don't feel you have to! We're good as long as you get a paragraph or two and hit all of the critical parts.
-Vampires, werewolves, paranormals. You don't have to play one, I just like to. -Slice-of-life, romance, things developing organically. I like for things to feel natural and for what happens to make sense. -Sex in RP is fine, but it has to tie into the above point. I'm not going to ERP just for the sake of ERP, and I'm not here just to play out whatever kinks or fantasies. -I'm here for the warm fuzzies, so what I'm looking for reflects this (ex, romance). -Long-term. I want partners that will stick around and people I can befriend. If you're going to drop after 3 or 4 days, don't waste my time.
-Unnecessary drama. If you're one of those people that just like to stir the pot for no reason, just move on, please. I'm here for the warm fuzzies and not interested in a dramafest. (Drama in RP is fine, but I'm not interested in drama-mongering). -Lots of violence. Some here and there is okay, but I'm not looking to get into playing fights/combat/etc.
He was nervous because his brain was stupid, and he didn't know up from down right now. Or at least that was what it felt like. Hell, what was a brain? Did he even have one anymore? This was so utterly out of character for him it was ridiculous. He didn't act this way around guys. Then again, he didn't typically come across cute guys in bookstores, either. Not this cute, anyway.
He'd picked those words intentionally, but the look Gabriel was giving him was making him think he probably should have just said absolutely nothing. Shutting up was probably a good idea, but his mouth apparently had other plans. "About six years. Everything is busy all of the time. It's kind of exhausting, to be honest. So many people packed into such little space."
Roommate. That was better. He liked that. It wasn't boyfriend, or any other flavor of significant other. Lucy couldn't help but smirk at the mention of the noisy girlfriend, and his mind just ran away with that train of thought. It was off on its own, having its own adventure, and there was absolutely nothing he could do to stop it.
"I'd rather have you in my hotel room." Oh, the words were out before the brain even realized his mouth had opened. Luc had been following, but about half a second after that came out, he stopped suddenly and slapped a hand over his mouth. Oh, sweet baby Jesus. Did he really just say that out loud? He had. Fuck, fuck, fuck.
"Oh God, I'm so sorry." Mortified. He was completely and utterly mortified. If you looked up mortification in the dictionary, there was a goddamned picture of Lucy. There would be an entire Wikipedia entry dedicated to this now-notorious blunder. Fuck his life.
He sank down to sit on his knees, face hidden in his hands in shame. "I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with me. Just pretend I don't exist." Just... how the fuck did you even come back from that? Was it even possible? Could he just crawl deeper into the stacks and die? That sounded like a good plan. Maybe he'd go have himself committed. That also sounded like a good plan.
Thanks mercenarius for the pick <3
Things about me: I love to write! I also love video games, TTRPGS, etc., and enjoy fibercrafts (knitting, crocheting, spinning), watercolor, and about 5000 other hobbies. XD
You're saving yourself a ton of money by not being near one. I like Taco Bell as well, but anything other than the 5 dollar box is outrageously expensive there.
Okay, so it's not just here. Taco Bell has gotten stupid expensive. You used to be able to go and spend like $10 bucks and walk out with like 40 tacos, now you get like two.
