The man took a drink after his explanation as he waited for any people who'd be up for the offer. When suddenly he felt a magical disturbance. Which was then followed by him seeing it. He stopped drinking as his blood chilled as he focused on the lighting in the tavern. He saw the color change and the way how the shadows acted differently. There was no doubt in his mind that there was some foul mischief afoot. And the perpetrators? There was no doubt it was tied to that cult that the idiot king had allowed to run rampant like vermin.
"Tchh..." He let out escape from his lips.
He saw the little fairy being called forth from her attempt at gathering more players. Her owner looked quite concerned and told her they were to leave. He wouldn't quite disagree with the man's actions as it was natural, but something told him it wouldn't be so simple.
Suddenly a man appeared! He seemed to be familiar with the man with the fairy, and the hunter seeing as he addressed them by their names. However, he noticed something odd given how close he was to the man and the bar. He saw the bartender completely frozen and pretty much everyone else save for a handful of people here. Suffice to say, he had no clue what was going on. He only hoped this being wasn't hostile. If he can cause this freezing effect, then there's no doubt he has some power that would make a fight a losing situation. To be wiped out at its leisure so prematurely before getting even close to his goal would be cruel and tragic. Yeah, they say the world is unfair and so on, but it would be bullshit nonetheless.
Gin? Sure why not, he'd play along with this. This "Gin" while super suspicious giving the timing of the disturbance, caused by the cultists no doubt, seemed different. Didn't seem to have the vibe of something affiliated with the cultists, but then again he could be hiding it better. "Gin? I prefer rum myself. So, do you wish to tell us what you want from us, or would you fancy a game of dice?" He said with small flourish with the dice in hand.
