It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

I like Sil she has that screeching parrot energy in a humanoid form, except the parrot is smarter.
@Mangrale

Meche listened to Rowan's response quietly and respectfully. The subject of payment for the services was immediately brought up. As expected from a group of freelance adventurers. "Yes, payment is an issue that needs to be worked out. The methods will be up to my superiors as that's outside my command. Hopefully with this issue we can get more funding authorized by the mayor. Alternatively, we might get funds from the festival visitors and merchants setting shop there" She said to him.

"What time is this hunting party? I'll make sure we send in a group with your adventurers to give this a test run. I think it'll be important as well as interesting to see what adjustments would be made to ensure they work together well. Also if you don't mind mind, would you be ok if they would take a detour from patrol to help investigate the area, or at least have the guards temporarily break apart to poke around for clues?" Meche added after a pause.

As she waited for his response she was taking mental notes of what to relay. It was gonna be another long talk at the HQ as her superiors settled this. She had a feeling that they would be able to secure extra funding, especially given how big this festival is to the town as well as just the general threat to the town's interest to let this problem go untreated. Hopefully they'd be able to secure enough funding to be amenable for the guild master and his members. Her mind drifted on going to the inn and getting a drink, it already was a long day for her and she just wanted to relax after what would be a day full of talking.
I've been delinquent on making a post. I'll get to making one
@Pezz570

Still here, after all I just posted recently.
I see, he'd still probably try and refuse claiming his combination of being a hobo and his martial arts training has endowed him with this discipline to ignore hunger longer.

"Nah. I'll be fine." He responded to Chres.

He was about to approach the door but stopped. He had heard more talking about food, or rather the lack of it. He turned to face Chres once more, "Look, we got a bunch people that need to eat. I figured that someone else can have my share, as this isn't my first time going without eating and enduring through this sort if something I'm experienced at."

The man shot a glance at the Innkeeper and his wife who were having a minor disagreement, and then back to Chres. "Like I said before, I can help steal some food for today. It'll be even more guilt-free for us since half the town seems to have been converted to these cultists. Perhaps some fishmongers can be relieved of their catch later today." He said with a slight smile.

"Anyway I'll be going outside now." He said as he finally left.

It was honestly such a change having all these people around. He was used to just looking out for himself and dealing with these hardships alone, but now there were other people with their own needs. He would need to pitch and help with this, especially since he wasn't one comfortable with acts of hospitality unpaid. He leaned against the wall of that house as felt the morning air blow over him softly like a whisper.
I brainfarted and thought I made a post already.

I'll work on something this weekend
Meche took a seat as Rowan showed her a seat. Her fluffy platinum blonde hair bouncing slightly as she seated herself. She was seemingly unperturbed by the man's curtness. "Actually some coffee would be nice, but that's besides the point." There was a professional look to her as she looked at him.

She would then continue, "Well Guildmaster Rowan, as you know we have a trouble with a surging monster population. Already it's causing trouble with attacks, destroyed property, and as we've seen below a lot of complaints from merchants traveling. There's also the fact that it's going to be disruptive to the upcoming festival as well. Unfortunately the guard has been deliberating how to properly address this problem for too long. We're currently strapped in resources, particularly manpower especially when everyone is demanding an escort and other such things. And so we're just underprepared to deal with a problem of this scale."

There was a pause in her speech. She then continued, "Protection of the town and the adjacent area is our duty. While we appreciate what you're doing, we cannot idly stand by and let you do this alone from both a practical and reputational standpoint. The reason why I'm here is to deliver a message. The guard wants to create a temporal joint task force with dealing with these monsters. We will want to deploy people on patrols and hunts for monsters that stray too close or are particularly notorious. But really, the goal here is to discover what is the source of all this increased monster activity and deal with it accordingly. These monsters threaten both people's lives and the town's livelihood of traders passing by and we can't afford to let this situation escalate. So what do you say, do you agree to this partnership?"

Pisco was somewhat amused by the woman's change in expression as he mentioned wares to sell. It was so intense, compared to his laid back state. Still, it wouldn't turn him away as making some extra cash was always nice. Plus he had nothing better to do right now. "I specialize in making oldest friend of all the sapient races, alcohol. Particularly beers and wines. I don't produce any spirits. Some of my product can be found in this fine establishment and I've already sold to merchants before so I know my product is decent enough." There was a bit of a dissonance in his friendly manner of speaking against this detached energy he was giving off.

He took a drink of whiskey as he looked at Hina. He then spoke again, "So would you be interested in both or perhaps one of the beers or wines? Also, that beer you have isn't one of mine. But perhaps I could recommend and buy you one of mine? I see you're drinking an ale, perhaps you'd like something on that level or perhaps darker? Of course it's also a nice morning, so perhaps something lighter and more invigorating would be more suitable?" Already he was doing his routine of picking out a drink like it was second nature.

"What he said, If it's that then hitting the user is going to be tough." Flint said. The transformation into a dragon by that one guy wasn't something he had missed. The newest compatriot was using his wings to try and blow away this smokey attack by flapping his powerful wings. Flint could only hope this could do something, while being blinded by the smoke was bad it wasn't as bad other negative effects that this smoke could give them by touching them. Shots went whizzing by from unknown angles as the cloud approached. Flint reached into the poncho and threw a handful of explosives towards into the cloud as the wind generated by the dragon carried them further. He fired off his shotgun piercing them and causing an explosion of fire to rain down and spread on the ground burning away.
It was early in the morning where the sun was barely up in the sky. A lone figure strode through the wilderness with the crumpled bodies of monsters slowly fading. The figure flicked its wrist before trudging through the depths of the forest as the light dappled dimly through the canopy and onto the floor. The monsters which inhabited the area have been reported to swollen to noticeable numbers. Somewhere in the depths there was something behind the numbers being increased. Already, there were sightings and reports of attacks by particularly dangerous monsters roaming the area adjacent to the town.

Deeper and deeper the figure traversed into the woods. There was confidence in the stride and the figure deliberately walked in a manner to get attention. It was still quiet save for the sound of unseen birds chirping elsewhere. Two goblinoid monsters in hides wielding axes and a sword rushed the figure. The figure dodged both of them and then rushed the axe wielding monster and wrenched the axed before kicking it to a tree and slamming the axe into the chest.

The figure danced around the frantic monster's swipes. Attempting to cleave the monster with the axe, it merely broke when said monster blocked with the sword. The armored figure would circle the monster from behind and barrage it with punches. An energy pulsed through the arms and when contact was made a forceful discharge happened which would send the monster flying and crashing into a rock before it disappeared.

Finally, the true target revealed itself, a greyish muscular humanoid monster with gnashing teeth and a cunning glimmer in its eyes. It towered over the figure as it brandished a giant sword of some shiny black substance. The blade cut through the vegetation and smaller trees through its arc. The figure didn't have much time to react outside of jumping over the blade. The monster's recovery was deceptively fast as it swung again rapidly, but the blade caught itself in the side of a tree trunk. The figure rushed and punished with some hits, enraging the monster as its eyes glowed menacingly and it attacked. It was like a dance between the two, of near hits and close defending until the armored figure backed away. Another pulse of energy went through the leg. The figure ran at the monster and leapt into a flying kick. The monster would try and block with the massive sword. It would fail. The sword shattered and the monster was smote as it petrified and crumbled into dust.

Pisco's day was like every other day, uneventful and short. Having automated most of his brewery, it left him with quite a bit of freedom as the only thing he needed to do, was wait. That is when not selling his wares to merchants or other places in town that needed some drinks. So, he would find himself in The Golden Hind Inn, face pensive as he nursed a glass of whiskey. His attention was lifted when this new woman, a merchant it seemed, arrived to the Inn. He barely lift his head at her loud declaration. Yet, he still smiled very slightly at her direction while staring at the table as he drank. He then got up and approached her, "No need to be so loud, but you got my interest. You're merchant aren't you? Perhaps I can offer some things to sell."

Meanwhile, the news of an increased monster population would have the local guards on high alert. A contingency plan was being drawn up. They needed to act before people got hurt or worse. Also, the monsters were a threat to not only public safety, but the town's economic livelihood as well. To combat the monster threat, they decided to team up with the adventurer's guild to create a joint task-force dedicated to patrols,investigations, and of course monster hunting.

Meche Logge entered the guildhall and was surrounded by all sorts people. She could tell it was about the monsters. She sighed and made her way through the crowd keeping a low profile. This matter would need to be taken care of soon. She made her way upstairs, but found no receptionist at the moment. Meche just took a seat and waited for someone to come out.
