It's gonna be gas. Can't wait to see what sort nonsense you can pull of in focus mode with the funlance and hunting horn. Also, looking forward to new monsters to skin and wear as hats.

Like an ability list that will change over time?

I mean I guess I'd be fine with it. How many abilities do I get to list off? And do variants of an ability count towards that limit?
Name : Dion Tacgnol

Class : Ice elementalist. Dion belongs to an order of elementalists who specializes in ice magic. However, it's more of a hybrid martial art, as the practitioners hone not only their magic but also their fighting skills. The end result is that they create and wield a variety of weaponry of ice weaponry along with more "traditional" ice magics.

Age : 28

Race : Human

Appearance : A light brown-skinned man of athletic build around 5'8”. His long red hair is partially braided in a ponytail. His eyes are silvery-white like that of ice. His clothes are robe-like, but allow great mobility. They're in cheerful colors and with a floral/plant motif akin to a Hawaiian shirt with some mystical looking doodads on it as decorations.

Personality : Dion is a cheery man who walks with a certain flamboyance. Sure, it's been noted that magicians can be rather eccentric. But given the unorthodox method of his magic, it serves to complement it further. Despite the informal airs he has, Dio is just as learned as any practitioner of the magical arts when it comes to magical knowledge. And within his style of magic he is also just as competent. His problems are that he can be kinda frivolous at times, and he dislikes the more academic side of things. Dion had notably shirked off several requests for teaching novices of his order, citing it as "he has no teaching bone in his body" and it being "a pain in the ass to write these teaching plans".

Motives : Dion has been contracted out of a pool of applicants by The Arcanium, a coalition of various magician groups. His task is to investigate just what the hell happened in the forest, and take care of whatever lurks down there by cooperating with whomever might also be interested in going there along with the local authorities.

Gear : He carries a magic ring that acts as a backpack. Inside are basically camping supplies, books, magical tools, and some potions. On his person he carries enough money to pay for his stay in town and a small amount of potions, and a crystal necklace. Among his most cherished possessions are his potions of mental enhancement (Energy drinks).

Other :For free food and drink, he will chill a tavern's supply of beer.
I'd be fine with that.
I'd be fine with that.
How many more players would you need before starting?
I see, thanks for the information. I just wanted to get a feel of things. For the character I was thinking of either an ice magician that fights by creating ice weaponry along with more traditional ice type magic. The other alternative would be something like the magic Archer from Dragon's Dogma.
So what's the competency level of the adventurers? Like are they heroic in strength or a bit more weaker? Also how does magic operate?

I'm thinking of doing some sort hybrid caster thing.

The man continued to run along with group as they followed their benefactor. Getting there was a slog as they would be taking all sorts of strange misdirecting turns and some pauses. The cold rain soaking him and everyone else was unpleasant, but not entirely foreign to him. Many times he'd silently endure bad weather when he was out in the wildernesses when traveling between places. But it was annoying to wait there silently and without any direction. If he was out on his own he'd have the anime to keep moving or seek or make shelter from the rain. On the bright side of things, at least him and his clothes were getting a wash.

Eventually they'd finally enter the lair through this secret tunnel in an unassuming building. Malkev would finally introduce himself as such. And with his introduction came the reveal that the Watch was gone and had some "allies" that would be of use. His interest and enthusiasm was greatly diminished. He had noticed that his senses were heightened without his volition which roused suspicion. Then there was the Kharu-Natjer and his exotic slaves. It did nothing to salvage expectations. "Great, we just walked into a fucking snake pit." He thought to himself.

It was right there and then that he decided he would do nothing with these people. The others may cooperate with Malkev and those people. He would not do anything to accrue any sort of "debt". Already he knew they'd probably have already gained some just by taking refuge here. And so when the healer slaves come towards him, he would push them away. Besides it not like he was hurting and needed it. He could take care of himself with just some time alone. The dinner offered was another thing he'd declined to partake in. Still, he lingered a while longer than he needed as he saw Chres sitting alone and looking down. He'd do nothing when Karina approached Chres. He figured the man would only be in the mood for just one person.

"I wonder who else doesn't trust trust these people. Well time for me to take my leave. No use lingering here if I'm not gonna eat."He thought to himself as he prepared to wonder off. He was thinking of seeing if he could leave this lair. Sure, it was dangerous but it wasn't safe here either.
