Personality: She’s a pretty quiet and clumsy person, who talks very little and is totally oblivious sarcasm. She is a very kind natured person at heart and has an older sister type aura. Kain was one of the workers for the guild, originally as a quest board manager and waitress she changed her occupation to an adventurer after breaking to many plates with some encouragement from her friends. This gave her the opportunity to meet some people without being forced to by work and also to help work on her social skills. In battle she is the same as she is with people, quiet and clumsy she has not shown any potential at being an adventurer because while she does carry a sword she is not particularly good with it. The only reason she does get hired by some parties is because she is a good cook and much stronger than she looks, often able to carry most of the loot they collect. Though few have seen her real potential when she throws a punch, claiming to have seen her dent armor when she is not using her sword. But Kain never admits to it and others do not believe the stories told by those who have seen it. Abilities: - Warrior: As this class Kain should be able to equip a wide variety of weapons and armor but tends to keep her armor light and only uses a long sword in a fight. - Uncanny Strength: Despite Kain's meek appearance she is much stronger than she looks, it came as a result of working in her own tavern and also at the guild for so many years, kicking out drunk patrons when they got rowdy and carrying full barrels of alcohol up from the storage cellar. Notable Equipment, Traits, etc;: - Guild Uniform: Though it can be confusing to newcomers Kain still wears her guild uniform with some armor over top. She still owned several of the uniforms when she was fired and they are the only cloths she really owns. - Longsword: Made of hardened steel with gold plated guard and leather bound grip, it is fairly standard for a weapon and there are many like it. - Clumsy: She can sometimes trip over own feet when carrying things or bump into objects when not paying attention. History: Not much is known about Kain's past accept that she used to own an tavern in the city of Calpheon to the north. She was forced to close it and moved south to Lerot where she got a job with the Adventurer's Guild. She worked in the guild for a while until she was fired because of her clumsiness. The guild master gave her a second chance though and let her rejoin as an adventurer so she could find work. Other: Kain is a follower of Ardley, the God of Board and Travel. She represents this by wearing an amulet of Ardley's symbol on her belt, two stalks of barley carved into a gold coin.
The situation defused and Claus uncrossed his arms, breaking his chain of thought as Corvus and Sulley headed outside, he had not been listening near the end of the conversation to be honest, lost in his won head as he tried to predict the outcome, he did not expect it to defuse like it did which kind of disappointed him. When Corvus said made his last statement before leaving and called the general group sluts he could almost feel Lena tense as she stood up straight and took a step towards him while Sulley apologized. It took a stare from Claus to stop her, the weapon making a face at him before settling down and stuffing her hands in her pockets. Now everyone had a moment to think and assess the task they had all been given. Probably to everyone's surprise Ethan was the first to speak up and suggest that they just make a headlong charge, his weapon Fi quickly made him reconsider that plan as the rabbit spoke in words on Ethan could understand. When Minami spoke up with enthusiasm and suggest they start making plans Claus stepped forward. "I agree, we should meet get everyone together and figure out how to approach this." He was glad she was seeming more sensible now. He was trying to take change though, in his mind if this was to succeed it would have to be his show. "Ah good, I think it almost lunch time so while you all are on that I am going to grab some food, anyone coming?" Lena added, moving to walk away with a little wave before Claus caught her by the collar of her sweater. "Aww..." She pouted.
"Durek (Idiot), Corvus is at it again." Lena observed, still upset from Sid using her full name even though she had already submitted the form to have it shortened. She looked at Meister Claus who just observed with a bored look. "They are honestly going to start this in the same room as Death? They are all idiots." he said after watching them for a few moments. If the six of them were smart they would not start a fight in here, take it outside at least or else one might face the discipline of Death himself. There was a reason Death was assigning 8 weapon and Meister teams to this task, and even though he hated to admit it Death City was just too big of an area for a single team to handle on their own. He hated working with others but he was tactful enough to see that. Corvus was of course going to be a problem. If him and Sulley were not at the top of the class Claus had no doubts that he would not have been selected for this mission. For the moment he had to put a hand on Lena's shoulder. She had the look on her, the one were she was itching for a fight and would probably jump in if the chance arises. He could just speak up and diffuse the situation but it was interesting to let them sort it out, if it did come to blow he would just get to see who was the stronger pair, far from not being a benefit to himself.
Lena could see Claus was in his own head thinking about something so she just leaned back on one of the posts of the guillotines. If it was not for her the two of them would have never gotten noticed, Sure her partner was talented but he was more interested in showing that in class sitting in the front row and answering as many questions as possible like he had something to prove, it was enough that she already had to put up with his constant complaints about the classes being too slow since day one. But she had no choice but to be with him, no other Meister could pick her up when she was a weapon, and Claus did it with such ease, making him her partner by default. Sure they got along okay but the kid could be such a nerd at times it ruined her cool.
Weapon Partner: Helena Dragic Personality: Since he was young Claus has trained to be a meister and sees it as almost an insult that he has to partake in classes with students who have a lower skill level than himself. However he is blind to his own flaws, while able to harmonize with any weapon in the class none have willingly partnered with him because of his attitude of not trusting others to help him. His hard headedness makes him never back down from a fight may very well get him killed someday unless he learns there is a right time to step back and accept help. History: Baumhauer comes from a family with a long history of being Meisters, almost able to trace their lineage back to the eight warlords though much of their family records have been lost with time. From a very young age Claus has been taught under his grandfather's guidance, learning about the history of his family and at the age of 10 started combat training. He was taught sword play, how to control his soul wavelength and sense/read the souls of others. While he was never a natural at this he has through hard work, practice, and determination mastered the art, and considers himself at a level much higher than his peers. Upon acceptance into the DWMA he demanded that he be accelerated into a higher class, thinking it a waste of time to start in the lower ranks but he was denied, told that is he wanted to become a Meister he would have to go at the pace laid out before him. Reluctantly Claus accepted these terms. His Weapon partner is Lena Dragic, the Singing Warblade, be is one of the few with the ability to match her erratic soul wavelengths and was forced to team up with her on the account of no other weapons wanting to be his partner. Soul Resonance Technique:Soul Rend Overdrive- When Claus manages to match his soul's wavelength with Lena's he is able to put her weapon form into a state of overdrive. When this happens her blade overheats and spits fire from her exhaust (See weapon picture below). During this short period of time her attacks can burn enemies, setting them on fire from contact, radiating intense heat, and her chain blades spin into a crimson blur, able to cut through almost anything with impossible ease. When finished with the state it should be noted that Lena need time to cool down and cannot rev up her blades to attack until she has vented all the access heat. Soul Detection Skill Level: Claus is a Master of soul detection, or at the very least considers himself very very good at it. Flaws: Claus even with his talent is at worst a whiny brat. He acts calm and collected but when things do not go his way he angers and can throw a tantrum.
-The Weapon-
Name: Helena "Lena" Dragic Age: 17 Gender: Female
Known as the "Singing Warblade" few can forget the almost hungry growl of Lena's weapon form, a massive chain sword of rotating blades.
Meister Partner: Claus Baumhauer Personality: Lena is very full of herself. She is one of the most powerful demon weapons in the school and she is not even a death scythe yet. However she has a very erratic soul wavelength at this makes it difficult for most Meisters to wield her much less use her at the full potential of her weapon form. She has learned to get along with her partner Claus though, but where he can seem calm and collected she is hot headed and cocky. History: Like most demon weapons Lena did not even know she was one until the day she accidental cut her bet in two pieces and destroyed the outer wall of her room. A quiet kid in school when people started showing interest in her when it was revealed that she was a weapon it gave her enough confidence the adopt the cocky hotshot person she has at the DWMA. Shortening her name a few letters to something she thought sounded more suited to her she left her normal life with the hopes of someday becoming a Death Scythe. While many were interested in her on the first day that quickly changed when many found out that they could not wield her because of the rapidly changing frequency of her soul. Many of the students just did not have the skill to match and keep up with her accept for Claus, who seemed a natural with his ability to control his soul and read others. And since he had no partner yet and she was the only remaining weapon the two of them were paired up. Soul Resonance Technique: "Soul Rend Overdrive" an over heat state that allows Lena to unleash the full destructive potential of her weapon form while in Soul Resonance with her partner. Flaws: Other than her strange soul wavelengths it can be seen that Lena is very weak willed, her tough cocky façade can be broken and reveal just how emotionally fragile she is.
@JinxlynxSo, the characters look good, but there is a couple of things I need to address.
A) I don't think your soul resonance could actually set people on fire just by being close, so I hope you mean that in a metaphorical way.
and B) Lena would not be a demon weapon, this means she has ate human souls and that's bad (she herself would become a Kishin).
I will dumb it down so you just feel the radiating heat but every weapon is a Demon weapon, Soul is a demon weapon, Marie is a demon weapon, Patty and Liz are demon weapons. Demon weapon is the name for living weapons
Okay so I know I am not a GM for this but I do believe @Gingerboi123 intended everyone to make a Meister and Weapon pair to play on their own to avoid anyone being left out, and in my opinion it was a wise choice because if someone does go MIA we would not be missing the one half of a partnership.
Also people are posting in the CS tab and I have not seen @Gingerboi123 approve anyone's characters yet, he could be doing it via PM but I do not know, I can just see the time stamps of posts and make guesses.
