@RumikoOhara I might borrow heavy elements from the maps, but I prefer to use my own. Apologies to anybody who this bothers.

That being said, it seems like there are enough people still interested. I am going to set up a thread sometime this week. I also propose that I can set up a discord server so we can get to know each other a little better and shit (up to you guys if you wanna use the Voice feature at all). I can also do a skype chat room.

Discord preferred, though because I was gonna make a channel in the server dedicated to 'DUMP IDEAS YOU HAVE FOR THE GAME HERE SO THE GM DOESN'T GET CONFUSED AF, HE'S ONLY SOMEWHAT OMNIPOTENT'. If enough of you guys are interested, I'll make the server and PM join links around cause we are a cool kids club.

Discord or Skype would be rad
Best setting is usually something in waterdeep, we could do something like the Storm Kings thunder
Do you guys want it to be grimdark serious or a little silly and over the top? There is also the inbetween "grimdark silly". (Hint: it involves orks)

I can only imagine the moments when the crew is exploring Chaos worlds.

So yeah, color me intrigued.

Commissar: "No wait! STOP!!!"
Sanctioned Psyker: *Explodes into a pink mist of gore and in his place stands a bloodletter demon.* "Skulls for the Skull throne!"
Would anyone be interested in doing an RP based on a Rogue Trader and his/her crew on board a ship and exploring planets in the Warhammer 40K universe?
Gwen was not surprised by the appearance of a second body. Quickly ducking into a hiding spot to keep herself from being noticed a man wearing dark tinted glasses and dressed in a strange manner with a black long coat entered and asked the individual who had fallen to lower his weapon. The tall young man tried to be a mediator in the situation but the armed huntsman decided it was best to fire his weapon twice as a warning shots to ward off the other two.
It was easily apparent that none of these three knew each other just as well as Gwen knew them and one was seemingly not very friendly.
A tactical choice would have been to stay back and observe to see how the situation played out. Gwen however wanted answers as to what exactly was going on and she never was one to be patient.
Drawing her weapon she walked around corner and came out of her hiding spot with her weapon pointed at the immediate theat. She of course disarmed that immediate threat by burning all the powder in his loaded weapon and rendering the currently loaded bullets useless. Taking the energy and directing it into the ground a few feet infront of her and announcing her presence with a loud crack as the tile shattered and dust was kicked up.
"I do suggest you follow the man's advice and lower your weapon, I will do the same once I can figure out you are not just going to shoot everyone in here."
She said after getting all of their attention.

The streets were quiet as Gwen walked down them looking about. Keeping an eye out for movement as she wandered down alleys and empty roads in the strange desolate city, it seemed well and truly abandoned with nothing but rats living here now.
A sudden crash drew her attention however, sounding like it came from a building a couple streets over she moved towards it cautiously with the intent of observing what had made the sound first. A familiar smell of gunpowder reaching her nose. A small amount but enough to tell her that there was some coming from the source of the noise.

@Letmehaveone2

Approaching the building she believed the crash had come from Gwen stopped in an alley and pressed herself against the nearest walls when she heard approaching foot steps. Peering around the corner she spied a young man whom was abnormaly tall run up and enter the building where she could smell the powder, waiting to make sure he had not noticed her before following behind him but staying back far enough to not be noticed as she stuck to the shadows.
How about monsters known as Ogres or Trolls who come out at night because they do not like bright lights and sunlight actually harms them.

Gwen gasped as she fell forward and landed on her chest in the middle of the empty street. Grunting in pain and using one arm to push herself and observe her surroundings. The buildings and road were all unfamiliar to her and the construction and style of the architecture was strange, like a plain version of the cities in a Adran. The last thing she could recall was facing off against a Privileged still loyal to the king, a powerful sorcerer who had cast a strange spell. No it was not him who cast the spell is was some unknown source. But now the Lieutenant was in some strange place she did not recognize, it did not look like any city she knew of and was empty, devoid of people and dead like a ghost town.
Getting to her feet Gwendoline winced in pain, feeling the warm trickle of blood on her right arm as it soaked into her glove and sleeve. She had made a mistake, taken a sword to her fore arm from one of the Sorcerer's guards. She had repaid the attacked in kind with a bullet in the head but she was still wounded, walking off the street to an abandoned store front and climbing through the shattered glass window. She was glad to still have her military pack on her which had a small first aid kit, taking some time to remove her gloves and roll up her sleeve to tend to the large cut.
First to help her endure the pain Gwen tapped a small portion of gun powder on her left hand and licked it up. Snorting it would have let her feel the effects quicker but eating would make the powder trance last longer, already starting to feel the pain numb as her heart beat quickened.
The next step was not as enjoyable and hard to do with only one good arm as she threaded a hooked needle and started sewing the sword wound closed. it was messy and far from a proper line that medic could have achieved but it stopped the bleeding for now and her body would recover quickly with the help of the powder so she poured alcohol over it and wrapped a clean bandage around her wound. using the last of her thread to stitch her sleeve so it would stay rolled up and washing her soiled glove with some water from her water skin. testing her hand to find it a bit stiff but she could move it.
Packing away her bag she checked her pistol, replacing the spent shots and putting it away in a holster on her left thigh. The city looked abandoned but she would first check to make sure, assess if there was anything hostile or friendly before trying to find a way out.
Name: Lieutenant Gwendoline Etan Regalia
Nickname/Alias: "Claymore"

Age: 36
Gender: Female

Powers/Skills:
- Powder Mage: Gwen is a Marked or most commonly known as a "Powder Mage". Her magic is the ability to sense and control gun powder. She can do things such as control the energy it gives off when it explodes, sense it by smell at great distances and also force it to react with a simple thought and make it explode or even completely stop the reaction from even occurring.
- Bullet Floating: Also part of the powers in a Powder Mage's arsenal is a method of controlling the energy of black powder called Bullet Floating where the kinetic force from a fired round can be stored around the bullet and force it to float in the air before redirecting it in a different direction. The lighter a bullet the easier it is the float over long distances and more talented Marked can float multiple bullets at once. Gwen is known for her ability to control heavier bullets and even completely stop shots directed at her from an enemy powder mage, given she has the time to reach out to it.
- Burning: This is when a Powder mage forces black powder to burn and explode. they can control how much of it does actually burn and where the energy is directed. it however cannot be stored for long period or dispelled. The energy created when Burning powder must be directed somewhere.
- Powder Trance: A Marked has superior control over black powder but when consumed it augments a Powder Mage's strength, speed, and even their healing abilities to levels dependent on the amount of powder inhaled or eaten. It does have negative effects when consumed in large quantities but most Powder Mages forgo the risk because of the benefits.
- Third Eye: Not a physical eye but a mental one, or "inner eye", it is a passive ability to sense magic be it residual, other users or magical beings. A Powder Mage or even a full on sorcerer have the option of severing themselves from their Third Eye without losing their powers but it is permanent and they may never connect to it again. These individuals are known as "Mage Breakers" because they are most commonly used to assassinate Mages.

Crush: Taniel (A Captain she fawned over in the Kez war.)

Appearance:

Weakness(es):
- Her magic only effects black powder and the energy it creates when it explodes.
- "Powder Blind" is the term used for the effect that occurs when a Marked is in a "Powder Trance" for to long due to the over consumption of black powder. It's name is literal and the effect tends to be either temporary or permanent on a case by case basis.
- Gold has the ability to block a Powder Mage's powers if it comes in contact with their blood and thus Gwen avoids it at all costs.

From: Promise of Blood: The Powder Mage Trilogy by Brian McClellan; She was created for an adapted module of Pathfinder.

Other: Her nickname "Claymore" comes from being able to control heavy shots like musket balls and even a cannon ball (under a Powder Trance) to fly at longer ranges with more accuracy, the reason for this is that she can amplify the energy of a powder explosion to a certain degree. She also wears a silver pin of a gun powder barrel on her collar which is the badge of a marked, carries 2 powder horns on her belt at all times with cartridges in pouches for her pistol which is 6 shot (revolver) and loaded with brass shelled bullets. She does not carrier the usual saber used by military officers and instead has a long stiletto dagger in a sheath at the small of her back.

Bio: Gwen is a Marked from the nation of Ardan and was a Sergeant in the army at the start of the war with the Fez. She became the Second hand of Taniel who was a famed captain of the conflict. Receiving most of her promotions on the field and also famed from her feat of stopping and redirecting several cannon shots when defending a fortification during one of the war's most bloodiest battles. She returned to Ardan just before the coupe against the tyrant King Manhouch XII and the small nation was thrown into a civil war.
