Quirk: Overheat - As her internal body temperature increases her strength and speed enhances. Using her ability for too long at her maximum heat can lead to exhaustion and fatigue, exceeding her maximum tolerable temperature can lead to internal organs being cooked and her fainting from heat stroke.

Appearance: Helena has a lithe form and stands just under 1.57 meter tall. Her skin is is a greyish colour and her short hair is a navy blue shade. A pair of black curled horns part her hair from atop her head coupled with a thin black barbed tail that sprouts just above her buttocks.
Favorite Outfit: Helena prefers lighter clothing, she will wear shorts no matter what time of the year it is and the most she will bundle up in is a scarf and sweater in the winter, most of them time she either has a tank top or t-shirt on with shorts or a skirt. When in her school inform the top buttons on her shirt are always loose.
Hero Costume: Her hero uniform is a single piece suit designed out of a fire proof material that can breath. There is padded areas on her fore arms and legs to protect her limbs when she is fighting and a small pack mounded on her lower pack with a cooling unit consisting of a radiator and pump that cycles water through pouches on key points of her suit to aid with her keeping her body cold.
Personality: Helena has a quick temper and tries her best to suppress it with a calm outward appearance. Towards friends and new acquaintances she will be polite and kind, enjoying a bit of fun and pranks with her friends but if someone pushes her too far or is hostile towards her they will discover the fiery anger she bottle inside of herself.
Other: Helena is from Perpignan, France. Her family is both French and Spanish so she is fluent in French and near fluent in Spanish. Her accent leans towards the french side and she is more likely to use parts of french in her English speaking.

I would be interested, I actually have an old character from the Star Wars D20 game that was built for this same type of setting. A pirate who's old crew was killed by an empire patrol, She was left for dead but managed to survive long enough in her damaged fighter to get picked up by a scavenger and end up working for the Hutt as a smuggler under the guise of being a courier.

it is easy to assume that Nix has a very weak aura because her ability is to mask her aura and even her very own presence in the senses of others. She does not become invisible, her semblance makes her seem almost blurry and hard to detect even when someone is looking directly at her. Any sounds she makes are silenced, her body temperature is masked, shadows seem to stretch and follow her to help keep her hidden and her aura becomes like a void, nothing.

Paper bombs (Dust infused ink is used to write runes on these sheets of paper, when lit on fire or shot they explode.)

Nix grew up outside of any big cities or towns in the forest with her father who was a Huntsman. They often had to deal with Grimm attacks but her father used it as an opportunity to teach Nix how to hunt the monsters. Her father was an expert, he treated the Grimm like they were an animal that could be hunted like any other animal, one just had to be smart about it and to respect the creatures.
She lived most of her life with just her father in their cabin until she was scouted by Beacon. The school had contacted Nix's father and sent a letter asking if Nix would like to join the academy and become a full fledged Huntress. It actually took some convincing from her father before she agreed and left home to go to the school.
Since the increase in Grimm attacks Nix has not been able to contact her father, where they lived generally tended to be a quiet area but she fears that he may not be alive, desperately trying to keep the hope that he is still fighting and safe somewhere.

Nix is very quiet and reserved, she has a hard time talking to new people and often hangs back in a crowd and tries to not draw attention to herself. When alone she prefers reading comics and writing her own stories, She also tinkers on her spare time with various types of traps of her own design. It can take some time for Nix to warm up to a new group of friends, once she does though Nix will come out of her shell and feel most comfortable around them.
-Fighting Style-
She prefers using the element of surprise, sneaking up on her opponents from blind spots or setting ambushes with traps and choke points. Nix refrains from fighting in the open, looking to engage her opponent in places with lots of cover and places to hide. A large part of her style of fighting is tactical retreats to areas where she has prepared traps or an ambush point.
