I'd stay away from Ultron. If you don't know what you're doing, it could mess up your PC. At least, until the next update, where it should be more user-friendly.
Marcos listened to the captain as she spoke, finding the hint of criticism in her tone in the right place. The more he thought about it, the more he figured that it was a bit odd. He just escaped from being someone's work dog, and now he pretty much wants to be another person's work dog. Not that Marcos much cared for that. Criticism was a tone familiar to him. It didn't bother him all that much. He quickly learned to shut up and obey orders. Put simply, Marcos didn't care if the captain treated him with disrespect. If she thought ill of him, so be it. If not, great. Didn't change the fact that he was indebted to her and her crew, especially the fellow who helped him up. That's why it made him happy to hear that he was allowed aboard. "Thank you, Captain Runali. My name is Marcos Abeille."

His first orders were going to be difficult. To make himself at home aboard the Coral Pearl. He didn't know what a home felt like. He never had a home. He'd been a slave for all of his life, up until today. And the life of a slave was no easy thing. Whacking away at crops with a machete, pulling carts that must have weighed one hundred men, basically any miscellaneous chore that could be done. Each and every day. Top that with sickening food, few drops of water, and an hour at most of rest. He never relaxed. It was something very alien to him. First time for everything, as they say.

Marcos sat at the table in the galley of the ship, having been bandaged up by the captain. Another foreign thing to him was medical care. And it made him feel safe, or whatever was closest to the idea of safety. Marcos also would enjoy the food that was given to him in generous amounts. Finally, food that didn't make him regurgitate more than he took in. It was fresh and properly cooked, and delicious. He would have to thank the cook multiple times over, both for the food and for, to his learning, pulling him up. And, as the dinner was finished, he listened to Kai's story. He was familiar with Waterdeep, as he'd been a slave worker there for a year or so. He remembered it from the branding left on his back, at the center of his mass and to the right a bit.
So, if you're here, you're probably familiar with the manga and anime series "Shingeki no Kyojin", or "Attack on Titan." If so, that's good. If not, no worries. The RP I'm seeking to make only requires knowledge of the history before the series begins, as it will not follow the events of the actual series. Here's a basic rundown:

Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of Titans. What remains of humanity now resides within a country surrounded by three enormous concentric walls: the outermost is Wall Maria; the middle wall is Wall Rose, and the innermost is Wall Sina. Inside these walls, humanity has lived in peace for one hundred years; many people growing up without ever having seen a Titan.

The Titans are giant humanoids, usually masculine in form and naked, but lacking genitalia. They vary between 3 and 15 meters in height. Titans appear to instinctively attack and devour humans on sight. Despite this behavior, they apparently do not require food for sustenance, as they do not prey on animals and have survived for one hundred years in a human-free environment. Their skin is tough and difficult to penetrate and they have the ability to regenerate from injuries, even the loss of their head, after a short time. The Titan's only apparent weakness is a spot on the nape of the neck which, when cut deep enough, effectively kills the Titan. This revelation led to the development of the 3D Maneuvering Gear, which allows trained humans to navigate quickly in a three-dimensional space. Although it permits great mobility to a skilled user, it carries a large risk of overtaxing the muscles, requiring extensive physical conditioning and agility.

Humanity's defense against Titans is a full-time, professional army trained to deal with Titans. The military is divided into three divisions: the Survey Corps, which explores outside human territory to hostile areas in a bid for expansion; the Garrison, which patrols and maintains the Walls, keeping Titans out and acting as the first to engage the Titans if the gate is destroyed; and the Military Police, the top-ranking soldiers who serve as the personal guards for the king and maintain order within the Walls.

All members of the Military, excluding the Training Corps Instructors, wear similar uniforms consisting of a short, light brown jacket with the badge of the squad on both shoulders, on the front left pocket and on the center of the back, a light-colored shirt, a dark brown sash around the waist covering the hips, white pants, and dark brown knee-high leather boots. The Training Corps Instructor Uniforms differs slightly from the other branches, including an olive-green trench coat replacing the jacket of the other factions. The Survey Corps members often wear a heavy, green, hip-length hooded cloak with the Wings of Freedom on the back, usually when conducting missions outside of human territory. Trainees have been observed to wear the cloaks, albeit without any symbols, when conducting marches in the rain.

The main equipment of the Military is the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear, which is also their main weapon used in conjunction with two snap-off blades attached to the handgrips. However, the Military Police often use rifles since they mostly deal with people and rarely with Titans.

This is basically all that you need to know for the RP, but it would be best if you read the manga or watch the anime if you haven't yet.

So, with all this knowledge, the RP is going to take place during one of two times. Either the training of new soldiers, or the introduction of them to the Scouting Legion, where our characters will be. Taking the fight to the titans and finding what they can about them, hopefully.

I'm highly tempted to create a cute Ogre-spirit character called Oni-chan.

Used to be an adventurer like me, but then took an arrow to the nii.
There we go, I think that's fixed.

Don't worry about it ¦3
For ages I thought Onii-chan was a name >>;

It's a title. Tomato, tomahto. I believe that the o- is added if you're not saying the name. Though, I don't trust my eyes anymore. May be wrong again.
I feel silly.
I've been reading that damn page wrong this entire time.
I apologize, Lennon. You were correct, and I was incorrect. I shall edit my post and correct my mistakes.

Sorry mate, I don't mean to be argumentative but that simply isn't the case. Nii-chan and Nee-chan are simplifications of Onii-chan/Onee-chan, both referring to an elder brother and sister respectively. There is no suffix for a younger sibling in Japanese; the nearest would be the words otouto and imouto, i.e. little brother and little sister, however neither of these are used in the same way as Onii/Onee-chan. An older sibling would simply use their little sister/brother's name, perhaps with -chan or -kun as a suffix.

Adding -nii to the end if a name implies that the person is an older brother; I thought Shiori was older O_o

If it's just -nii, it means younger brother. If it's -onii, though, it's older brother. Yuusuke calls Shiori onee-chan because that means older sister. Likewise, nee-chan means younger sister.
Shiori stood on campus, eyes practically everywhere they could be. Shiori was waiting on her dear younger brother, whom would be arriving this year and attend Yamaku Academy. That fact alone made her heart soar with happiness. She's missed her younger brother, and now that Yuusuke was going to be attending the school, she would have so many opportunities to catch up and to have fun with him. Yuusuke was her favorite thing in the world. After him, was schoolwork, Internet, and video games. Shiori was an odd girl, because she was such an intelligent person, the poster child for academics. But, she played video games and browsed the Internet. A lot. Meh.

A large smile was plastered across her face as the family car pulled up to the academy and the passenger door opened, revealing what was probably the world's cutest face. Yuusuke-kun. That was what she called out as she waved to him, before going over there as quick as she could, which was quite fast considering she had her leg braces on. Shiori was used to it, though, and didn't mind the clinking of the metal here and there as she moved around. Shiori threw her arms around her brother and gave him a big hug. "I missed you so much, Yuu-kun!"
Yuusuke watched the land move by as he sat in the car, fingers tapping on the seat. He was far from home now, having taken almost an hour long drive across Japan to get to Yamaku Academy. In that hour, he thought to himself about going to Yamaku, seeing his sister again, and meeting others that have disabilities like him. If Shiori was honest, and Yamaku was even half as great as she said, he'd thoroughly enjoy his school years there. Yuusuke smiled as he thought of onee-chan. He had a lot of fun whenever he was around Shiori. They would do almost everything together when they were younger. Homework, video games, eating, bathing, and sometimes sleeping. Yuu loved his sister, a lot, and was really excited to see her again.

After such a long drive, he found himself looking out the window at a large set of buildings. Yamaku Academy. In the middle of his stare, his gaze was caught by a familiar face. Shiori. He stepped out of the car and allowed Shiori to hug him like she always did, wrapping his arms around her waist and smiling. "I missed you, too, Shiori-nee-chan," he said, grinning. After a minute or so, the hug was broken, and both turned to their parents. "Goodbye, Yuusuke, Shiori. Have a lot of fun, and be sure to write home!," their mother said, and after a nod and wave, as well as getting the luggage out, the car left, leaving two happy troopers together.

*one timeskip later*

Yuusuke and Shiori both sat at the same lunch table, having received homemade lunch from home. But, their mother didn't make them. Yuusuke did. Yuusuke knew exactly what Shiori liked, as well as what he himself liked. And, he was a pretty good cook, too. It was traditional bento, stuffed with rice, cooked fish, mixed vegetables, and a bun. Shiori absolutely loved it when Yuusuke cooked for her. Most girls liked a man that cooked for them. Even more so if they're a good cook. "Yuu-kun, this is really good!," she exclaimed between bites, smiles all around.
