Jason looked to Brienna with amused smile and chuckled. "No, I've been to busy with my families farm to focus on relationships," he said with a shrug. "Though I admit the thought of finding that certain someone has crossed my mind. A loving wife, happy kids and a good piece of land for us all to live on," he said as he pictured the image. It seemed like a very good life and reminded him of his parents. That's basically how they started out and life for them was good. "What about you, ever think about that stuff?" he asked with curiosity.

@Wick
Still sound fun to me.

'Guard work? Well, as long as it pays it's fine. Plus I'll have Brienna close by incase I need her help,' he reasoned in his head with a smile. His thoughts though were cut off as Brienna came to a stop by a window. Jason was about to ask why they stopped, but he was cut off by several bright lights from outside. He followed her gaze and was met with the breath taking sight of fireworks lighting up the sky. He stared at the sight with amazement before hearing Brienna whisper her question of his time into his ear with her smooth soft voice. Jason felt his smile grow as he stared at the sight. Memories of his childhood flooded his mind and he began to think of his hometowns famous firework festival. He always went with his family and enjoyed the show with joy and laughter.

Jason slowly nodded and replied while still staring at the breath taking sight. "Yeah, we sure do. Ours were more advanced then these seeing as how we could form images, or spell out words with well placed fireworks, but even in the past they're still amazing," he explained with a soft smile as a certain memory of his mother drifted into his head. He chuckled and shook his head. "Ya know, my mom actually loved fireworks. She said they lit up the soul even in the darkest of times. She'd even give us a sparkler, a small stick that had sparks fly from the end you lit it from, and told us that the sparks were like the human heart. They may go out, but with a small flame they would reignite and keep going on," he said and rubbed the back of his head with red cheeks and an embarrassed chuckle. "She also get on my case when I used them to dual other boys in a sparkler war," he laughed at the memories, but stopped once he realized his rambling. He scratched his cheek and gave a sheepish smile. "A-anyways, they're basically the same as they are back home." he said as he looked back to Brienna, only to freeze. The fireworks lit up her face and gave her a beautiful image, almost as if she was a rare jewel that has been untouched for ages and kept its natural beauty. He cleared his throat and looked back to the show.

Whoops, fixed it.
Jason let out a heavy sigh as he walked by Brienna's side and rubbed his newly patch up head. He winced at the slightest touch and kept the cloaks hood down to insure it didn't rub against it. "Your friend's nice, but he need to learn to be more careful when it comes to driving a needle into someone's head," he mumbled and looked to Brienna with a smile. "Great cook though," he chuckled before falling short of his jokes once he fully got a clear view of his companions appearance. He had heard William say something about her looking beautiful, but he was to busy devouring his meal to notice. Now that he looks at her, she was absolutely stunning. Jason felt his cheeks warm up, but looked away while clearing his throat. "A-anyways, you said you found a place for me to crash right? Where is it?" he asked while still avoiding eye contact with her.

Mark let a small grin roll onto his face as he rest his sword on his shoulder. "Oh I'm ready, I need to let off a bit of steam," he chuckled with a vicious look in his eyes. With all the crap that's happen he needs to shed a bit of blood. "Lets go you two, the sooner we stomp out these Goblins the sooner we can get our pay," he said before marching in the direction of their soon to be defeated enemies.

A low sigh escaped Vick as he laid his head back onto the cement wall of the destroyed bunker he and a few random Marines had taken shelter in after the enemy began bombing their outpost. The silence nearly brought Vick and the others to sheer madness. He looked around with tired eyes to see that the others weren't looking to hot either. Sleep had become rare in the past few days thanks to the Covenants constant attacks on their outpost and had left many scattered around its brutalized remains. Ammo, food and medical supplies were also becoming scarce thanks to a well placed strike on their main compound that contained such supplies. In total twenty Marines remained in the outpost, five were with him in this bunker while the rest were scattered somewhere else. If that didn't sound shitty enough, he had also been separated with the remaining members of his team. After a day of trudging and ducking into cover he had stumbled onto this outpost. He thought it'd be easier then the frontlines, but he quickly learned there was no frontline anymore as a wave of Covenant forces assaulted them. Its been like that for days now and the remaining UNSC Marines of outpost Charlie were beginning to break.

He scoffed and lowered his head with a dry chuckle. "Great first deployment," he mumbled while shaking his head. After a few more minutes of dead silence the radio that was set up in the bunker came to life and was able to transmit Vick and his fellow Marines froze and stared at the radio with shock before one of them, Sam if Vick could remember correctly, rushed towards it and began to mess with it to clear up the transmission. After a few frustrated grunts several voice sprang up from the radio and a large smile found its way onto the Marines face.

"Holy shit, more people! Ha!" Sam cackled as he cleared his throat and began to respond. "This is Sargent Sam Peters of Bravo team 1-4 with the UNSC Marines, if any UNSC personnel can hear me we are located at outpost Charlie, north of-" he was cut off as a Marine near a caved in wall received a plasma shot to the head. He collapsed under his weight and as he crashed into the ground all hell broke loose. An eruption of gun and plasma fire filled the sky and distant screams echoed over the field. Vick scrambled to his feet with his rifle in hand and dived towards the same caved in wall the Marine had died next to.

"Fuck!" he shouted with frustration as he peek out of his cover to return fire with the oncoming Covenant forces. As he fired burst rounds and began to identify the threats. "We got Grunts and fucking Brutes closing in, light those bastards up!" he roared over the gunfire before continuing his own assault. Sam grunted and went back to the radio.

"We are under attack by Covenant forces and can use assistance from any near by UNSC personnel! I'm marking our outpost with a distress signal, be advised Covenant forces are south of our position so watch where you come in fro- ARGH!" he howled in pain as a needler round buried its self into his back. He fell to his knees, but before he crashed to the ground he set the distress signal and grunted before letting his weight take over. Vick watched as Sam fell and gritted his teeth in anger.

"Damn it!" he screamed before popping back out of his cover to empty his entire magazine in the enemies direction. He went to reload and found only a few magazines remained. Hopefully back up will arrive.

Hope this is good enough, I can get his brother up later.
Cool, this sounds fun. I can have a CS sheet up in a bit, or later tonight.
