Jollyhotrod — Roleplayer Guild

Hello! I'm Jolly. This is my very first interest check, since I'm new to the guild, but do not worry! I have been writing over a mixture of platforms for quite a long time. I would consider myself an advanced writer, though I'm not able to give you all an exact paragraph count at the moment, but I would prefer partners that consider themselves high-casual to advanced role-players. I feel I speak english well enough to ask that any potential partners of mine have decent spelling and grammar, but I will not beat on you for any mistakes. I prefer a private message to any sort of thread because I've only ever used one-on-one messaging systems. Please keep that in mind. I'm not opposed to a thread if you'd really like to do it, I would just need some explaining on how the threads really work on this site.

For content, I'm 22, so mature content is good for me. Most of my plot ideas are pretty heavy anyway, so I would ask for a mature partner. I like romance a lot, so if you want to include romance I would enjoy that! However, if we both decide on our characters and the gender pairing doesn't work for you (I am okay with all pairings) then we can either ditch romance altogether, which is just fine with me, or double up on characters to make it work.  

I definitely would prefer a quality bit of writing over a big wall of text, but I would also love both! I do not want any potential partners to feel pressured by time when roleplaying with me, so I don't expect a certain minimum or maximum number of posts over a length of time. However, if you plan on not responding for a month or more, please tell me know beforehand so I am not stressed about thinking that I did something wrong to make you want to drop our story.

Also, I know it can be uncomfortable to tell someone you are done with a roleplay, but I would really like just a little message that says something like "I am uninspired now, see you later!" and I will understand you and not be mad at you and really hope that you contact me again sometime to try again. If we have a roleplay that falls through even if you don't tell me that you're planning on dropping, please do message me again anytime! I will never hold being uninspired for a story against you. 

Lastly, here are my ideas! 

Dog Eat Dog
Think animal hybrids, but darker. In this world, everyone is an animal. Unfortunately, the food chain still exists. No law, except the law of nature, rules over the earth. No buildings, no civilization. No morals, no boundaries. Eat or be eaten, the choice becomes nonexistent as winter closes in. And yet, one predator cannot bring himself to eat his prey, despite the hunger-driven threats of those around him. I've got a few ideas for this, let's think about more together!

Too Good to be True; Too Good for You
A rich young man/woman struggling with their health moves to a dirty, has-been island. The locals are initially less than kind to the newcomer, but a few are decent enough and start to bond. I have an idea for either just slice-of-life for this or something supernatural, so message me please!

I'll See You Yesterday!
I really like the idea of time travel. We could go simple, like someone from one time in the future getting trapped in medieval times or even our present times, or more humorous, like someone from medieval times ending up in the future somehow. As for a darker theme, maybe someone traveling back in time to try and change something, like a death in a war or the birth of a criminal.

Kids that were misfits but discovered they had superpowers, so then they became useful and more dangerous misfits. Afterward discovering their powers, they could either make themselves into a group on their own or are taken by some association that would train them to be heroes. Having one of them (or all of them) turn into a villain(s) would be really interesting too. I think this would be really good for a small group, and I'm also really wanting to try it, so if you're interested, let me know!

They Call Me a Homewrecker
A fashion designer or photographer or celebrity artist of some kind, who is married and content with their life, meets a rambunctious model seemingly hell-bent on destroying the perfect life the artist has built for himself. For this, I have in mind for the model character to be a complete rat, so if you like playing manipulative characters or like the idea in general, hit me up!

It's What We Do
Witches. I love the idea of modern witches using their powers in little ways while trying to fit into society, so we could use younger or older characters, or maybe a mix that were drawn together because of their magical energy, to make this really interesting and unique. I also like the idea of werewolves, maybe a small-town-turf modern or alternate time period turf war between witches and werwolves?

Sorry, I Can't Care
A human is in love with an android, whether or not the human was their creator or just someone who stumbled across them would be up for discussion. I'm really not looking for any kind of bot that was made for romance, or for emotions, more like a truly emotionless creature and a human hopelessly in love with them. Message me to discuss and come up with more ideas. ^^

Meet me Tonight in Dreamland
The dreams accept anyone. Once you fall asleep, you become anyone you want. No crime, no war, and no death. Literally. If you commit a crime, or invoke violence, you are woken up and must go back to sleep and be 'more upstanding' in order to stay asleep. But the dreams of different people are now intertwined, and the dream world has become an escape for those having hard lives. Two people meet in the dream world and discover a dark secret: stay asleep too long, and you won't wake up. In order to avoid the decay of their true earthly home, the two must start a rebellion, without having themselves woken up through any violent acts, to convince everyone to wake up.
