Everyone found out the new plan about moving into the town school pretty quickly. It seemed like a better idea than living at the farm house, Ethan had no idea what the school looked like but it would probably be easier to keep everyone safe. Ethan had been searching all over the farm gathering tools that he could use to for any number of things.

The month in the farm went quicker than Ethan expected, but it did take them quite a while to decide to where to actually go. He knew that everyone didn't really want to stay at the farm house forever, so it was good that they no had a place to go and actually try and create a life.

The sun was beaming down as Ethan started to walk back to the house from the barn. There was a lot of commotion outside of the house as everyone went about their business getting everything ready for the move. Ethan was carrying a massive tool box which he was happy with, if he could manage to find enough planks of wood, there would be a lot he could do. Hopefully there would be a library in the town and maybe books on fletching arrows, Ethan hadn't been able to practise his archery since leaving Dana Point so it would be good to go back to that.

Ethan chucked the toolbox into one of the boots of a car and quickly went upstairs to grab his jacket and his rucksack from the room he'd been sharing with Violet. His jacket hadn't been really used since they came to Texas, it was always warm to Ethan compared to what the weather was like in England. When he walked into the room Violet was in the room, Ethan casually went and laid on the bed watching her. "How's the packing going?" He said to her with a smile.

Eodras started to flick the string on his bow as his mind started to think of food. A rabbit or a pheasant perhaps, probably just the first animal that crossed his path when he was out hunting.
Everyone else seemed to be thinking the same thing as Darcyn and his group rode off into the woods. The best thing that Eodras thought was to go the other way, the only thing those lot would do would put the animals on the run. It was always easier hunting animals when horses weren't thrashing about everywhere.

The dwarf was still in front of him and was now chatting with a hobbit. It took Eodras a few days to actually realize she was a hobbit and not a little girl, Eodras knew hobbits were small but never expected them to be that small. Maybe she was just small for a hobbit, he had no clue. The town where Eodras was from wasn't really big and a long way from The Shire, so none came through. This was the first hobbit he'd ever seen.

A few minutes after Darcyn left, Eodras decided to actually go. "Well I'm off to go and get some dinner." Eodras announced to them both as they were in the middle of their conversation. "I'll be back soon... Hopefully." With that, Eodras was off into the woods.

A few minutes walk into the forest when the noises from the caravan had disappeared, Eodras finally pulled out an arrow and notched it. He crouched down slightly and started to move ever so slowly, trying to stay as quiet as possible and hoping to hear any movement. Within a few minutes, a squirrel came into view. It was sat on a branch trying to break into an acorn. Slowly Eodras pulled back his arrow and stopped his breathing. He aimed just to the side and above the squirrel, knowing how the arrow would fly through the air. He let go of the arrow and the only noise that could be heard was a thrang as the bow string flew forward launching the arrow. Within a few seconds the squirrel was lying on the floor. Eodras went and grabbed the animal and pulled out the arrow. Within a few seconds he was off again looking for more.
Will get a post up tomorrow when I've finished work. :)

The spaghetti hoops that were on Ethan's plate didn't even last a minute as he sat back on the chair content with life slowly wiping his mouth with that back of his hands. Spaghetti hoops reminded Ethan of his old life back in England, it was strange that it made him think of home but it was always the small things. Ethan was just happy that the house somehow still had electricity and running water, but he wasn't complaining, he'd not had a shower for quite some time.

As Ethan stood up, a new girl walked in. Cute, Ethan casually thought as he went and grabbed his bat from the rucksack and wandered off outside. He wanted to check out the area. If they were planning on staying here, they would need some type of defences. Some fences around the place would keep a few walkers at bay. Quite a few people back at Dana Point were killed by an individual Walkers sneaking up on them, so if Ethan could prevent that, he would. But first it was best to make sure that they wanted to stay here.

There was nothing really eventful that happened on the rest of his walk, all he did was check were the fences should go then went back to the house. As he walked back into the house, most of the people seemed to be in the kitchen so Ethan went and leaned against the worktop. "So what now?"
