... How in the world did you even get here? Privacy means nothing to you, huh?

Well, since you're probably with the NSA anyway, I might as well tell you what you already know:
I'm a 25-year-old male university student from Germany. As a German, I take everything very seriously and have no humor. At all. Does not compute.

I'm not saying I'm a terminator but let's just say that there's a reason they picked an Austrian to play it - The German model wouldn't have failed. As an advanced roleplay machine, I do put a lot of effort into what I write and usually end up hating it later, but I do my best to keep it a high level of quality and quantity.

Of course, I'm joking. See? Germans have humor. Not when it comes to writing though - Roleplaying is no joking matter.

@Noxious It does help me understand your setup better, thank you. :)

One more question - What kind of vampires are we talking about here? Does sunlight affect them? Can they cook with garlic? Is the church off-limit? The synagogue? The mosque? What about fake silver jewelry? And real silver jewelry?
I'm also interested, though I'd like to know a little more about these missions, how we would interact beyond them and where we're headed.

Not that I really have an idea of what kind of character I would want to do but not every type would jump at the chance of being an errand boy/girl. ^^"
@Atrophy With some people saying they were gonna post charsheets and never doing so, I'd say the door's wide open until Rosalind says it isn't.
Is everybody waiting for somebody else to post their characters first? Come on, don't be shy, nobody's gonna rip your characters head off... well, somebody might, but not right away.
@Vee No, I think that was only me. I checked. ^^"
And at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter, does it? The setting lends itself well to terrorism as a reason for imprisonment, which is why I wanted to do it, but just because I was a little giddy and childish and went all "oh, that is so cool, I'm gonna have pillow fort and it's gonna have its own cookie jar and a nerf gun and...", it doesn't mean nobody else can. There's only so many crimes you'd get multiple life sentences for. It might give the group an interesting dynamic if some of us were accomplices or had run into each other before we all woke up - it could help us stabilize early on or create conflicts that lead to our doom, but either way, I don't think you have to hold back and wait.
Oh, and I want to read more character sheets. :P

@Archangel89 Swearing helps. XD
And Rosalind basically provided a checklist in the interest check: If your character isn't violent, sexist or racist, you're probably doing something wrong. ^^
It does sound fun, like a mix of Fallout and The 100.

Count me in and please add some more detailed information on what's going on your world (i.e. what every child or young adult would know) as soon as you find the time. :)

Christine DeWinter

Criminal/Prison Nicknames: Ice Queen, Shrapnel Face, Moneyshot
Preferred Names: Christine, Ice

Born in: June 11, 2071
Age (Incarceration): 26 - Put into Cryostasis on November 6, 2097

Physical Attributes: 5ft6in tall, 121lbs (muscular but a little scrawny - overall feminine build) red hair (worn in a ponytail), green-brown eyes. Two small silver earrings on her right ear.
Scars across right side of her face and neck, right shoulder and upper-arm (superficial, wide-spread shrapnel wounds). Almost deaf on her right ear (ruptured eardrum). First digit of left index finger burned.
Black Tattoo on right upper-arm: Symbol of Gaia - Originally an Environmental/Anti-Globalization Organization gone paramilitary/terrorist after introduction of Prime.

Crimes Committed:
- 7 Counts of First-Degree Murder (Convicted)
- Complicity to 45 Counts of First-Degree Murder (Convicted)
- Membership in a Terrorist Organization (Convicted)
- Preparation of Terrorist Acts (Convicted)

- Removal of Prime Chip (Convicted)
- 3 Counts of First-Degree Murder (Suspected - No Evidence)
- Participation in Illegal Demonstrations (Multiple Convictions in 2092/93)
- Resisting Arrest (Multiple Convictions in 2092/93)

Sentence:
Death Penalty - Suspended / Overruled
Indefinite Incarceration in Apox Space-Penitentiary

Personality: Warm, friendly, protective and sometimes vulnerable towards those she likes; verbally (and, if pushed, physically) aggressive towards those she does not. Having killed several people for her cause, even before the attack that led to her incarceration, she tends to be pragmatic and can keep a level head in most situations; however, she has a temper that sometimes gets the better of her. When all else fails, she cracks jokes, as cynical and dark as they come.

Brief History: Christine was born at a time when many people harbored deep resentment for the constant surveillance but were kept in check by fear of another war and the younger generation still had some faith that things could change for the better. Early on, Christine developed an interest in politics and, with parents that were relatively well-off, could dream of pursuing a career with the United Nations and afford to study International Relations. At university, she came into contact with radical elements and ideas, participated in demonstrations (earning her first entries to her criminal record) and became increasingly disillusioned with the state of the world.

By age 23, she had joined Gaia (who removed her Prime chip) and helped in the preparation of several retaliatory strikes against those they thought responsible: Bankers, CEOs and high-profile politicians.
On the day of her arrest (January 21, 2097), she and four other Gaia members forced their way into a conference center, killing 46 people partaking in a financial congress and two security officers. In the following shoot-out, all of her comrades were killed (to her knowledge), along with seven police officers.

Miscellaneous: She received survival, weapon and self-defense training by Gaia - Not quite military grade but close enough to pull her own weight and feel confident about her chances in a fight. She also has a knack for mechanics and basic electronics - She might be able to get a car running, open a door or make something go 'boom', as long as it doesn't require any detailed knowledge of the matter.
Good to see you're back in action. Hope you've recovered and are feeling well now. :)

[Moved my charsheet to the characters section, as I should have from the start.]

@Rosalind Christ, that sounds bad. Take it easy and get well soon.
@Rosalind Are things looking any better this week?
