Bio

I'll keep this short and sweet, maybe. I've been roleplaying since I was 14 back on the forums of some old zombie browser game and have had a soft spot for it ever since. I like to believe I've gotten at least a bit better over the years, but I still find myself shying away from the Advanced RP's. Was a member on Oldguild for around a year before the fall, but have been on-again-off-again with the new site for about the same time. Have tried other places, but I soon grew tired of them and find my way back here. I enjoy fantasy, sci-fi, and sometimes slice of life RP's, though I'm not a fan of doing canon RP's, as I like making my own characters. This isn't to say I don't like playing in fandom worlds, as I love them, but just not playing as one of the actual characters from whatever show/book/movie/comic it's from.

Outside of all that I'm currently enrolled in college and work full time in the receiving department of a warehouse.

Now, I clicked just to see what this was all about, as I always am interested in Steampunk even if I don't really write MxM stories. However, upon reading your opening post and how you're reacting to players who are interested in your RP, it's safe to say you don't understand how this forum works. Yes, I can see you only have 3 posts in the last few days, but you really should look around at other RP's and read the guides. That way you're not acting angry or getting pissed at possible writers interested in your RP. You are posting in the Casual Interest Check, which is for people that have at least some structured RP experience/good writing ability and forming group roleplays of 3 or more players. The way you wrote this all out seemed like you wanted more of a 1x1, which is fine, but that has it's own respective section of the forum and its own rules as well. A big rule you broke was getting angry and being a tad venomous to Hawlin and Agent, who were merely asking you questions on the RP. As a GM you need to be able to answer questions, as well as be able to compose yourself without being an ass. Now, as for character making, which seemed to be the questions the other two were asking, you should have a CS up. Often times on this forum, people show interest in an RP, then will post a CS to see whether it falls into line with the story the GM wants to tell. Sometimes, people may post a CS just to test the waters, see if that will ensure them a spot, especially if an RP is getting a lot of interest checks on it from other writers. If you take anything from this, just be nice and don't get angry with your fellow Guildmates, especially if they are simply asking questions on the RP. As a once avid RPer, a big part of any successful RP is a good GM, and from the way you reacted to people asking simple questions shows you aren't prepared to really take the reins of an RP. Also, don't take my post count at face value, I was RPing on this site for around 2 years before it crashed, as well as having RP'd on several other sites before this. So around 8 years of RPing on play-by-post forums.
My pants are around my ankles. I'm ready for this.
Name: Perpetiel Age: Ancient - The Observer Appearance: http://i2.minus.com/ioZCsuQ0iH4n4.png Nature: God Personality: Humble, though an odd thing to say for a god. He is very calm and is never in a rush. Very business-like, though he can get lost in his own thoughts at times, usually due to a civilization surviving longer than he thought or a new fangled invention/use of magic done by the upstarts/mortals. Skills and Abilities: As an aspect of time, his abilities involve a slight ability to dabble in the currents of time, drawing power from them. This by no means is a direct hand in time, as even the God of Time can't change the rivers course. He can slow down or speed up time in certain areas, so long as he is there. He also has the ability of creating near infinite copies of himself, which he jokingly calls his "Paradoxes". These copies all have a small amount of his own power and are used mainly to keep eyes on the goings on of the world, recording and observing just as the big man himself does. If any being speaks to one or for some reason provokes one of his Paradoxes, Perpetiel will be present nigh instantly to find out what is happening. Backstory: Perpetiel came to be around the same time as Higaga, though he found himself in a far different role than she. Though the god does care for his world, he found that his role was to be a silent observer and protecter over the rivers of time. Throughout his "life", Perpetiel has been steadfast in his position, never picking sides in the relatively routine outbreaks of conflict between his brothers/sisters and the beings they created. Now, he doesn't have a problem with life or the mortals, but the constant pattern of prosperity followed by war and destruction has left him a bit withdrawn from Ceyr. Regardless, he is constant in his duty, for time stops for no god. He was also on the side lines of the War on Heaven, chronicling it instead of taking a direct role. However, this wasn't the main reason and that is something that even those close to Perpetiel don't know, nor would they understand. Connections: (so far) Higaga - Being born relatively close in time to the guardian of Ceyr, Perpetiel has a steady respect for her. They aren't close by any means, but due to his own nature as Observer, Perpetiel doesn't often come to hostilities with her. However, he is a bit shaky on their terms, much ado to her chaotic nature. Sohena - At times he hates her for her Foresight, as every vision she shares causes the river to become distorted and split, with countless variations going in every which way. However, this same ability that causes his duty countless problems also acts to allow him to connect in a little way to another god. This is due to her being caught in the river of time, even for just a second, which allows her a glimpse into his never ending service. Religion: All mortals belong to the passage of time. Nation: Universal, like his older sister. Sort of finished.
I joined the old forum back in 2011 (RP'd on random forums since 2007) and made a pretty core group of friends here that I RP'd with a lot. However, ever since "guildfall", I haven't seen any of them back on here. I pop on here every now and then, usually when I get the urge to RP again, but then I seem to drift off for a while as I don't have the same connections as I did before. Anyways, that's a lot of fluff for me to say I personally don't feel new, but I'm sure there's plenty of old members on here who have no idea who I am. Also, like others have said, it doesn't matter. There's no negative thing in being new, as it is the constant stream of fresh users that keep RP sites alive.
Thank you all for the early (still only 11 here in California) birthday wishes! Don't even feel 22, but maybe I will in an hour.
I'm interested and I'll try to get a CS up tonight or tomorrow.
Hmmm, bit of a mixed bag RP? Been a part of a few, they usually have issues when everyone is something crazy or nothing really related to one another. Not telling you how to do your story, you do whatever you feel is right for your RP. Also, I'm interested.
Depending on what you mean by Anime Fantasy then I would be interested in that.
1/10 A vortex killed my pet rock. RIP in peace Admiral Wolverine Lightning Bolt.
You should get a black light, there might be some secret message written out in semen on that thing. Might even be a treasure map to all sorts of booty.
