Current Tea has never inspired me, but coffee, I might have killed for. I don't know, everything is a blur before my mug touches my lips.

Which organ is it that makes cats so flexible? And can it be removed? I'm starting to have nightmares.

Bio

I prefer to write in the first person when not writing about/from a character, I am sorry if this may make me seem a bit obnoxious at times. So this is my bio, which means you are interested in finding out who or what Jyoliod is, even if it's just a fleeting moment of pure curiosity, or something to pass the time in-between posts. Either way, I shall indulge you, while also throwing my ego out there for the world of RPGuild to observe.

Jyoliod is, or rather, I am, a character on the stage of RPGuild playing the puppet master of (soon to be)various characters, eccentric, gloomy, thoughtful, harsh, annoying, these are all attributes I may throw into posts depending on the author's state of mind, yet I hope to hold a solid presence of familiarity that I can share with all of you. My goal is ultimately to enjoy my time while not disturbing the comfort of others here in the guild, in the guild I'm not only looking for various RP's to enjoy and craft, but also friends and discussions to partake in. Though, in this manner I can be quite submissive and enclosed, I'm not much of an extrovert so bare with me if you will.

I am always happy to have a discussion and I really enjoy learning new things, so if you're bored enough to have read this far, throw a topic at me in a PM and see where it goes. But enough of that, I'll throw out some more substantive stuff in regards to my RP out-look.

The Genre I like:
Horror
Fantasy/High-Fantasy
Action
Heavy Magic Emphasis
Science/Technology Emphasis
Modern
Slice of Life
Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic

The Genre I'd like to try:
Diplomatic Emphasis
Sci-Fi
Mystery
Family

The Genre I tend to avoid:
Fandom

RP Style:
1x1
Casual/High-Casual
Advanced
Arena

I like:
An emphasis on detail, I have a structure complex and find it easier to post when a RP is well defined. However, I'd gladly jump into a free-for-all sandbox type RP just to let loose from time to time, but never as something I plan to or hope to do long-term. I like character development and creating personal quarrels to over-come as a character. I especially enjoy the idea of long-term RP's where the character not only develops mentally but also physically.

Gore is also something I enjoy incorporating into my posts, though I only use it in the proper context. It's an easy thing to detail but also has a lot of room to work with, you have so many areas you can choose to detail and such a post, pulled off correctly can easily contribute, quite powerfully, to the current atmosphere of the RP.

Other Stuff:
I am dyslexic, meaning when I read and write, words and letters can often be switched around or substituted for completely different words or letters. This is an issue I try to stay on top of , but if you go through a post and find the structure of words or letters to be mixed up, I'd be grateful if you informed me of this. I make it a habit to re-read my posts three or four times to combat this.

also he has told no one the name of the new warband, including his inner circle (you guys) and was gonna reveal it after the barge was secured and on its way to the eye

@Warbozz GM mentioned that he didn't want to reveal the new insignia and warband name until after the coup. You'll have to check out with him to see if the first part of your post is okay, or maybe prepare to re-write that section.

And I see no reason why any of us couldn't learn Kaioken,

I agree with that, but having some customized transformations much later on would give us a chance to shine a little. Plus if we go by some of the logic from the filler episodes there is one point where Goku goes Super Kaioken (Super Saiyan and Kaioken) so any Saiyan would have an instant advantage. But maybe I am focusing in too much on Transformations, they're one of my favourite parts of the DB universe.
I think collecting the dragonballs should be an early goal for us, as it seems to be the core pre-arc goal of DB that started Goku on his adventures with teen Bulma, but then again we'd need to think of a way of tracking them down and a reason for tracking them down that isn't entirely selfish to one person.

I'd definitely like to see a Makyo Star saga much later on though! Also on that note; @Geoffrey Silt when we start tapping into transformations, much later on, do you think we should try to think up some custom ones for all the non-saiyans? I guess we could look into Mystic (The transformation Gohan uses to go 'Ultimate Gohan'.) but I also like the idea of race specific transformations. What do you think about that? We could put in some relevant limiters, i.e. some crazy requirements that require an entire arc themselves to fulfil.

Also a Majin equivalent saga based around dark magics, that would give Seji an area to shine in at parts! But we should probably try to avoid too much alien technology until the much later series, keep things fairly Earth bound for the start, but that's just my idea. It seemed to be when the Freiza saga started and characters started going to outer space, the DBZ world opened up a whole tonne, but I don't think we'd be ready for that until we got way higher power levels.
Good idea, you'll have to let us know before hand so we can all set the stage for Kota a little! Make it seem like a proper DBZ transformation!
I see your point, I guess something I failed to address in the OP is that certain choices are more better suited to different RP's depending on the style (Free, Casual, Advanced, Arena, Nation, ect.) and RP theme. It can be easy for pictures to create an unreal looking character, where in a description fills in a mental template the reader/writer already has gathered from the OOC.

Additionally, in smaller or more expressive RP's, as stated previous an image can do well to convey a lot of information within a short amount of time, such as atmosphere, of course I doubt it'd ever be as expressive as a chunk of paragraphs, but I feel there is worth in the compact nature of pictures sometimes. Not because I'm lazy or anything, sometimes a picture just resonates with me in a way that is hard to replicate with words, but at that point I am looking at it more as art rather than as a character portrait.
Welcome, I hope you find the guild to your liking.

I'm sure you'll find a lot of wonderful RP's to make use of here. Additionally, you might want to check out the Nation RP section, I've read a few interesting pieces from there that fit along the lines of your character scope.

As for coming off arrogant, that is just par for the course in most cases. As long as you follow the rules and explain your reasoning behind something when asked about it by a GM, I doubt you'll run into any issues, but that's just an assumption.
Thought I'd throw a suggestion in, I've noticed when putting pictures into posts that you can write next to them, but only in the space at the bottom of the image. I was wondering if there was a possibility of implementing a change that'd allow a user to write next to/around an image.

If it is any help in framing how this would work; I'm thinking a [img] tag that includes a feature similar to [indent] where the image will 'indent' it's width and then some, (maybe a few pixels) to allow the user to continue writing around the image. Of course the issue with that would be that you'd probably need to include the text you want next to the image within the tag, but I'll leave that for Mahz(praise his holy name) and his apostles.
So is that guy named Kuh-ay-juh, or Kuh-ah-gay?

Kuh-ay-juh, as in the word 'cage' is my assumption. I've seen it around quite a bit where people name characters 'cage' but replace the 'c' with a 'k' to help separate it as a name rather than referring to the object.

You know, I've been wondering, when would there ever be a good time for a Super Saiyan Transformation?

That's up to Kota's emotional state, but I doubt it'd be anywhere near this early considering our power levels are 100 or bellow. Goku and Gohan were able to get 'pushed' to Super Saiyan by their emotional strain, so maybe a village or NPC Kota likes could get killed? Additionally, you could take the Vegeta Route and become Super Saiyan out of your own egotism and hard training, just think of one of Kota's personal aspects and push it to the extreme. That's my suggestion.
Excitement grew in Jinshi's bowels as he peered at his surroundings in the prep room, although the contestant count was only 12 the stances and warm up techniques he observed some from some of them both surprised and amazed him. Jinshi's short bout of journeys leading to this place were quite clam and frankly boring, the Makyan felt a new burst of eagerness and excitement at the very prospect of battling some of those who graced his view now. To his right he spotted a giant of a man with a round stomach lifting weights bigger than some small adults, another contestant a women to his left struck the air with an unusual and swift technique Jinshi had never seen the likes of before.

Hearing a small crowd of cheers, Jinshi followed the source to a stone fighting ring, it's smooth grey surface complimented by the various ornament statues that decorated the facility hosting this small tournament. Finding a comfortable view point, Jinshi watched as the first fight went under way, as the crowd cheered Jinshi analysed every movement and technique used to the best of his ability hoping to see what he could learn. Although the match went for some time, it seemed clear to Jinshi who'd be the winner, the unusual looking person announced as Vanina not only had the advantage of an extra set of arms, it was clear she was trained in a unique technique to use them too! As the fight rolled on Jinshi only became more and more excited, he hoped his opponent is a strong one but most of all, he hoped to learn something that'd make him stronger, win or lose!

When the match came to an end the pale orange skinned Makyan cheered with the crowd from his position on the tall wall separating the preparation area for the fighters and the ring. Growing up Jinshi always loved watching the tournaments on T.V. but regardless of the fact that this wasn't near as big as the annual tournament, watching the event in person was an experience on a different level!
No problem, it's the only RP I knew of that fit your criteria so thought I'd throw it out there. Anyway, see you around!
