<Snipped quote by Lugia>

Skyrim is kind of a boring game, though, RPG fan or not. Especially if you don't mod it. Plus, I know he plays Borderlands, and I'd easily count that as an RPG.

...and how the fuck do you know that?

I find Borderlands boring as well. Too grindy 'cause leveling takes forever. I would really appreciate it if I could use my skills BEFORE fighting Handsome Jack.

Seriously though, I own and have played Pokemon Y. It's average to be honest.

Anyway, today I woke up early to sell some power banks, e.g. the stuff you use to charge your devices. We sold out, so that's gonna look good for my 9 credit internal.

You know damn well I never cleared the first dungeon before I shelved Explorers of Sky-something for 7 months and then sold it.

Anyway, Anlu's going to check out of reality for a little while. I'll try not to talk tonight unless I have something to say but if I come back and say something weird, blame @KaBling.
S/He just has a guilty face.

I've never even played Pokemon. Bugger...
@KaBling Bags of holding? While they're a common staple in every fantasy setting for probably the last twenty years, they have never stopped the staples of civilized life. Not everybody has a bag of holding, nor can they be appropriate for every application. Is there any upward limit? If they're enormous, surely they're incredibly expensive and hard to find? If they're small, well, that only condenses, rather than eliminates, the need for transportation...
And as you mentioned, would a bag of holding be as heavy as all of its contents?

And certainly, too, individual transports would be necessary. Imagine somebody like Anthony trying to, er, slide his way through the dangerous wilds between towns alone, undefended, and slow as christmas... xD

I've changed my OOC post.

Lugia thinks meta = RP physics, so I've cleared that up for him.

And he's got a headache, so don't bug him.
Uh... Ridlins is accepted.

Explained the fact that only OUR bags have a large amount of space to Lugia.
@Lugia If I may express my opinion, I'm not sure I understand the reasoning. Pokemon buy and sell goods, ergo they must buy and sell raw materials, which must be transported en mass at some point along the supply chain. This type of transportation, at a technology level like has been displayed as far as I'm aware, would require either carts or caravans.

Caravans are likely to require a team of multiple pokemon to pull them in most cases. Teams require overseers, e.g. drivers. The setup may be a little different - the harnessed grunts may not be considered animals and they may know exactly where they're going, but whether the guy in charge is called a "Driver" or something else seems to me largely a matter of semantics!

Just my two cents. Feel free to disregard.

Let me put it this way:

Our characters have bags which have a large amount of space, even if they're just pouches. Though, the NPCs DO NOT have those bags, so they rely on normal transport. This is because I cbs trying to track all the items in everyone's inventories.

So, NPCs get wagons to transport their things, even other Pokemon if needed.

All-in-all, I've explained this to Lugia and he's gonna accept Ridlins.
Falvev wants to be the tactics and support section of the team. Dunno if it'll go over quite how he wants.

To be fair, this RP is a bit of a free-for-all, so roles aren't set in stone. It's like CSGO: you can have several roles (from entry fragger to rover), but they don't actually exist nor are used to an extensive standard.
ARGHHHHHH

Shut up. I didn't lead Lugia to RP Guild only to find myself reading 10 pages a day again.

At least get a topic in your head and try to combine a post, rather than splurging all over the place.
oh fer fuck's sake

so many posts; this is like PMD all over again
Oh, well that's even worse.

I know that feeling, too. I've had my mother rake me over the coals for getting 93% on exams before - in a school system that doesn't break down letter grades and considers 90% and 100% to be the same!e thing, no less.

But I suspect this is a little bigger than a singular test, given the meeting. Hope you can iron these things out. x_x.
May I ask what grade you're in, out of curiosity? I'm in my 2nd year of college, myself.

Otherwise, I would hang around more to chat, but I really should get to bed... I have class in 6 hours D:

I'm actually year 12/form 6, at least to New Zealand year levels. We use NCEA here, which gets even more complicated as you gotta translate between school marks to NZQA marks. Also, you can just answer one question on a page and get the highest mark possible, really.

Lights off for me now.

Pearion love PMD!

But on a less "Too excited to grammar correctly." note I'd love to join in too ^^ I actually have a few mystery dungeon characters, but I think I'll use a new one for this. Sorry to poke in so late, am friends with Anlu and was busy earlier today. I'll get to work on my character tomorrow morning, but glad to meet you all even if I don't get to join the RP. Good to see that some PMD stuff is still around and active. The Light, Void, Shadow thing is also something I've been wondering about for a while, as in, I have wished the main pokemon games would do so. It seems odd there's a Dark type but no Light type. Don't think my pokemon will be a Light type though, or any of those.

Anyways, time for me to go to sleep now.

G'day.

G'night.
I'm the third party; the student.

Yeah, thanks. Everyone here dislikes what I choose to believe in, which just annoys me.

Meanwhile, no matter how well I do in school, I'll still get shit from my own family. Found that out the hard way today.
