Oh boy, I'm having too many of these moments where I just blank out. I swear for what sometimes feels like weeks.

Er, right. We were fighting... archers I believe? A drake and human pelting arrows at us on the back of a cart (they probably thought we were bandits/'xp' to them, likely the latter)... I was going to say they were screwed more or less, but it seemed as if the drake got clemency and the human became an athlete. A good one at that, stopping briefly at times to shoot arrows while running like a mad man.

When it came to the drake, I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to kill everyone we met (at least the non-psychotics). That said, I only recently loosened my tight grip, knives warm to the touch as the archer's odd ability of running and shooting was matched by a knife. Our goblin thief Backstabs actually had a great shot at the guy's leg with said knife (something we could exchange a few skills in) whilst Dorisma stormed towards the archer, preparing to end his crippled misery.

Thinking my presence would just be overkill, I walked steadily towards Robert, unmarked by the fighting and inspecting my somewhat unkempt clothes. (Well, I'd probably need a good wash on my rather misleading noble clothes, based on the specks of blood, gashed tears and dust blots that have since developed.) "Robert-" Just as I said his name, I flinched somewhat from the arrow yanked from his chest, half-feeling the supposed sharp pain in my chest. "Alright, a small gash was one thing, but an arrow wound to the chest might be out of my league." I spoke, having composed myself whilst paying attention to the fighting a bit further away. Whilst basically waving my palms at the wound slowly and without much of a fuss.
ok, i think i should more time actually reading posts instead of skimming

Healing Robert...
1d6 + SPImod
==> (6) + 5 => 11 hp + Robert's current HP of 9/19 HP
==> 19/19 HP
i reckon i should go to heal dorisma, if she hasn't already been restored to proper hp yet

i'll edit in some rolls tomorrow
I couldn't quite get Spruce's fall out of my head. You know, just seeing him collapse and everything. Not as bad as now... the pain's starting to get to me, so do forgive a more stark tone from myself. Judgement's a very difficult attack to survive from after all.

Until I heard everyone began talking about Spruce, I was fairly distant and unaware what had really happened. I had the badge stuck under one of my magnets, ready to click and flash back to where Spruce and the others were. At the same time... the mission wasn't done yet. Mission, quest, goal, whatever. Just a point where we get an ending and resolution. I stuck around because there was something that needed to be done. I couldn't help Spruce, but I sure as hell could help everyone else. With that in mind, Reshiram turned his fuzzy white neck towards me, perhaps with contempt given what I asked earlier. It seemed awfully like contempt considering what I said earlier, but he didn't harbour any ill will or anything like that; he addressed me like a gentle giant, saying he couldn't just simply wish away the cold without provocation and retaliation.

"Alright." I responded, prepared to say more if it weren't for Reshiram turning away from me. Maybe I was taking it too quickly. I looked on as Reshiram trudged through the snow, unaccustomed though not entirely unfamiliar with the climate. Anthony and Josh (the members of the other team) took solace in that the struggle was almost over, whilst everyone else... well, they just stood like icicles. It was horrible to think if they were either dead or trapped in an icy hell. Thankfully, those thoughts disappeared as I approached Anthony in the bitter air, marginally thicker than Reshiram's home climate.

"Hi... I don't think I've properly introduced myself (if at all, I can't quite remember)." Whatever happened, I wasn't very approachable as I had hoped; I was talking to the wispy air if anything. Perhaps I was late, but I was just left with a rather pretty figure in the ice. "Oh. Well, we'll get you out of there."

Look, as awkward as that was, I was just trying to pay my respects at the time, what with the fighting earlier and the tough time my team was going through. It's getting harder to concentrate away from the fighting in the background, so... maybe that didn't happen. Alright, even though I've just admitted being rather unreliable narrator, I definitely know I've introduced myself as Miles to someone, perhaps the frozen lady even (Kiera if I remember correctly). I certainly remember it as "my name's Miles Hall" and possibly "we've fought before."

Alright, let's get past that. I followed the group towards a certain icy cave at the town's exterior. Let's just say it was quite haunting to pass through the interior, a flash freeze that everyone just had to be caught in. Things got quite exciting at the cave, though I didn't do much considering we had a legendary behind our backs. The only thing that seemed to deter us was the massive amount of ice around the cave, but basically trivial for some of us. Anthony suggested melting down the cave's walls, though I suspected that would've annoyed Kyreum...
Haven't done anything productive lately due to personal reasons.

If I can't make a post today, consider myself... well, having left the RP. Hopefully that's not the case.
i should post soon

yes

i will post soon
We slogged on in the morning, trying to overcome morning fatigue and drowsiness. Every little bush and standing tree passed only served to remind the village we lost, as well as the unwitting peace soon to be disturbed.

I'm narrating too quickly. Alright, not too long passed until we were beset by arrows, Parthian shots whizzing past our ears and heads. One skipped past my coat in the middle of the confusion and chaos, leaving a small tear that quickly left me awake. "Oh goodness, not this again." I reached into my pocket and swung out one of my knives, enchanted and warm to my hands; dragonsteel, green and shimmering with a degree of dragon's rage.

I positioned myself carefully, focused and rigid against the morning chill. One quick jerk threw the knife out of my right hand as it cut through the air, through smoke and cold breaths into the left arm of the Drake. A little spark unsettled him if the plunging of a knife didn't. I wasn't exactly intent on killing the Drake, but peace didn't seem much of an option at this point.
...right, I was supposed to post.

I ended up getting caught in my own games/trips to outside world/laziness.

Hopefully I'll actually make a post tomorrow instead of ruining dreams.

*attack the drake with dragonsteel throwing knife
*rolled 16 + 6AGImod vs 8 + 12AGImod
*22 > 20, therefore attack connect

**deal damage to drake (1d10 + 1d3 + DEXmod - STAmod + def)
**rolled 7 + 1 + 7 - 9 + 1
**5 dmg means 13/15 goes down to 8/15

Everyone lingered around, either at rest or walking towards Reshiram as they spoke. It was wasn't long ago that we had a brutal fight against the confused legendary, the heat beginning to set in and sap whatever remained of our energy. Vine almost seemed out of nowhere to medevac Spruce, his badge glinting whatever God rays that made it through the shifty clouds, saying a few words before departing. I thought nothing much of it, other than reassurance that Spruce wasn't going to end up disabled for the rest of the journey or something. I looked at Kamina as Vine returned to Arnold's with both Spruce and Celes, relieved that the hard part was over for now.

Most of us seemed worried for both Spruce (Celes especially, I don't really need to inquire why), although Kamina was a lot less serious than everyone else. The nonchalant attitude was needed though, as we all flew through the skies with Reshiram below us. The air quickly shifted from steaming heat to a chilly blizzard, touching down back at the town relatively quickly. I swore we were melting the ice already, just from the retained heat from the dungeon. "Thanks Reshiram. Mind giving life back to this region?"
