Bio

I am a 29 year old male. It has been a while since I posted to this site, but I want to get back into it. I enjoy RPing fantasy mostly, with some interest in Sci Fi and certain fandoms. I am more likely to maintain an RP if my partner is skilled in RPing and posts at least once every few days. I have an active imagination and tend to post casual to advanced. I am looking forward to RPing with many different people, and I thank you for taking the time to read my bio. :)

When Keith taunted him and called him a chicken, Casper laughed aloud, the sound masculine and strong, with a sharp edge of condescension. "Really? You're the one standing with two katanas against an unarmed opponent and I'm the chicken? Man, I'll bet you get all the ladies." He laughed again, crossing his arms as Keith whispered to him about how good looking the girls in Steel Fish were. He didn't reply to this, but the grin he wore grew mischievous and his eyes flashed. It was clear that he agreed about how the girls were hot, but not so much about how they may be dangerous. As far as he was concerned, a little bit of rough play was part of the appeal.

He shook his head at Keith, not even bothering to face him as he said, "Well, if you ever feel like finishing pissing yourself, I'll be ready. Till then, I'll just stand here and enjoy the fresh air." He put his hands behind his head, looking almost relaxed as he spoke to the air. "Here, I'll even give you a handicap. Come on, macho man. If you don't hurry up, I'll get bored and decide to take a nap." He was only half joking, as his abilities allowed him to move slightly from one position into another. If he started off laying down, by the time he reappeared, he could be crouched, and that was all he needed to spring into action.
Rebound's smirk widened at the compliment that Mia gave him about his powers. He thought it was pretty neat too. He raised an eyebrow and said, "You thought that was neat? Watch this." He walked over to the wall of the corridor, looking up and down the hallway. He would probably get in trouble if any of the teachers saw him destroying school property, but he knew of at least one teacher who could control stone, so it would be able to be fixed. Besides, weren't the people who ran this school loaded? They could afford some minor damage now and again. He turned towards Mia again, his smirk widening. "My ability is that I am able to absorb and redirect any amount of kinetic energy, or moving energy. Here, I'll use one finger and deliver the force of all of the punches you just gave me to this wall." He then quickly jabbed his finger at the wall, and the moment it touched the wall, a small spidery crack appeared in the wall, without his finger going into it at all. He frowned slightly and then smirked again. "Well, I guess your punches weren't that powerful. Here, I'll try again. This time, I'll use all of the energy I've collected just today." He held his finger up again, then once again quickly jabbed it at the wall. This time, the whole wall blew out in a hole about the size of a person, once again, without any follow through at all. It was like his finger had released a very localized bomb onto the wall, that affected only the wall. Several kids on the other side of the wall had jumped out of the way or ducked for cover, and Rebound's smirk grew slightly as they glared at him. He shrugged at them. "Sorry 'bout that." Luckily, none of them had been in the path of the blasting wall. -@Kirra
Casper watched as the fight between the frost girl and the man in black was called. It was obvious who the winner was. His small smirk grew into a slightly surprised and interested grin when Antennae Girl broke him out of the ice the way she did. He was liking that girl more and more. However, his smile faded when he saw how quickly the man in black healed. Hmmm, that would be a bit of a problem. He would have to be careful with this guy. If he could heal wounds that fast, then Casper would have to inflict them even faster to have any hope of winning this fight. He was about to step forward towards the guy when he noticed that the red haired guy was telling him something. He listened with one eyebrow raised as the guy told him that North had some sort of teleportation device. Really? That would make things more interesting. He didn't thank the red haired guy, but simply turned back towards North.

He stepped forward, cracking his neck and fingers, his smirk returning when the guy referring to some sort of pop culture as an attempt to jab at him. He had spent his life on the streets dealing with the scum of the earth. He hadn't had time for leisurely things like whatever it was that the guy had referenced. He supposed it had something to do with his appearance, but he didn't mind. The guy would be singing a different tune soon enough. This guy was too weird. He talked to himself, as if he had voices in his head, but he seemed like such a meat head. Still, from what he'd seen in the previous fights, the guy wasn't as stupid as he sounded. He had no shortage of skill, and if that teleportation device was real, then he had a few tricks up his sleeve as well.

Casper noticed that North was taking a defensive stance and he chuckled and waved a finger in front of himself, making a small clicking sound. "Tch, tch, tch. I'm not going to fall for that one, North. Why don't you come at me so I can see what you're made of." His body language was showing that he was relaxed, as if he didn't have a care in the world, but his eyes were sharply focused on the man in black before him, his attention focused completely on the imminent battle. He had a feeling this was going to be fun.
Whoa, miscommunication alert! Casper said that to Legacy, not Keith. He's referring to when Legacy listed off his abilities. Casper thought he was bragging, even though he really wasn't.@PaulHaynek
Good, glad to hear it. ^-^

Okay, I want to clarify something. While I understand that my character's attitude makes him out to be kind of a jerk (after all, he's been largely alone his whole life and practically raised himself) I just want to make sure that when it comes his turn to fight, you won't simply decide he's going to lose because he needs to be knocked down a peg. (I do plan on having him soften up a bit as the story progresses.) After all, his skills are quite formidable, and I'd hate to have it be a bygone conclusion that he will lose simply because of his personality and the fact that the previous two people had already won. So, what do you say?
Casper shook his head at the kitsune's words about her position on letting others do what they wanted for the sake of freedom. As far as he was concerned, she simply sounded like she couldn't make up her mind about whether she'd let someone else go into a dangerous situation or not. Only of they had a good chance of winning? Well duh, if that was the case then who wouldn't go into it? He kept these thoughts to himself however. He glanced sideways at the red haired guy when he complimented him on his perceptive skills. Of course he was perceptive, that was how you stayed ahead in a fight. He didn't answer, but turned his attention once more to the battle between the white haired girl and the man in black.

As he'd suspected, the runes underneath the man's feet were more than just an after effect, they were a trap. A small grin spread over his face as the man in black became encased in ice. Well then, it seemed like this fight was pretty much over. In fact, as far as he'd seen, the man in black wasn't that tough to beat. Still, he wouldn't let that idea cloud his judgement when it came to his turn. On that note, he turned towards the guy who'd been bragging about his skills earlier as he asked who was going next. He grinned widely at him and said, "I think it's about time I had my chance. After I'm done, you can go ahead and prove to everyone how all of those skills you listed off earlier will keep you from getting killed in a real fight."
Lol All righty then...
Interested.
Actually, when he said that, he was referring to her brother's comment on how she might be overdoing it which is taxing her, denoting that she is being inefficient in her use of her power. Anyway, why does it matter so much what my character said? If we are going to nitpick I have plenty of stuff I've been keeping to myself.
