Bio

I am a 29 year old male. It has been a while since I posted to this site, but I want to get back into it. I enjoy RPing fantasy mostly, with some interest in Sci Fi and certain fandoms. I am more likely to maintain an RP if my partner is skilled in RPing and posts at least once every few days. I have an active imagination and tend to post casual to advanced. I am looking forward to RPing with many different people, and I thank you for taking the time to read my bio. :)

What do you mean by fox rogue? Is she literally a fox on two legs?

So, I wanted to do an RP about a group of bandits who are led by a particularly strong bandit who has an odd set of morals. They are hired by a small town to be their protectors and defend them from other dangers. Eventually, the bandit leader would become king of the small village and begin to gather followers to his cause, intending to overthrow the corrupt government of the small country. This would essentially start out as a group of bandits, then branch out into an interesting rebellion RP. There will be mild fantasy, not much in the way of creatures or fantasy races, but there might be some sorcery and perhaps a magical entity or two. Mostly it would be skilled humans though. So, what do you guys think?

I sent you a PM about which ones I was interested in. ^_^
If at all possible, I would like to change my current guild name to "High Lord of Fantasy". I remember being told I could post a request of that sort and the moderators would take care of it. Is that still the case?
Thousands of years ago, the world was governed by the great god, Ahz Khar. He was Lord of the Skies and Master of the Earth, King of Neutrality and Peace. He reigned over the earth, preventing the conflict between his three children from influencing the world he had created. Their names were Shiirone, god of Horror and Deception, Ostum, god of Might and Power, and Halien, god of Virtue and Light. Shiirone and Halien were constantly at each other's throats, waging private wars, and Ostum was supremely undecided, normally supporting one, then the other, and sometimes remaining neutral. Shiirone was the youngest of the three brothers, and he desired above all else to rule his father's kingdom. He devised a plan to kill Ahz Khar with a terrible poison, and tricked his brothers into helping him. He was almost successful, but his two brothers realized his trick before their father died. They were too late to save their father, however. Ahz Khar, moments before his life ended, divided his remaining godlike power into six Relics and scattered them across the earth. His three sons were now able to influence his creation, but they could never enter it directly, nor could they completely rule it, not unless they gathered all of the Relics and united them once more. It was said that the one who collected all of the Relics would gain the power of Ahz Khar, and the right to rule his world. Each of the three gods desired this power, and they each began choosing champions among the sentient races of the world and marked them as their own, sending them out to gather the Relics. It has been five thousand years since then, and so far, the Relics have never been gathered. However, the time has come for the Relics to be reunited. Adventure awaits, who knows what may lay ahead?

Okay, so I wanted to do an RP that is full of fantasy, magic and adventure, but more realistic in terms of character interaction. Basically, their are two main differences in this RP. One, your character CAN DIE!!!! Not only can they die, they WILL if you do things that would get you killed in real life. For example, if you challenge an ogre to single combat, I don't care how good of a swordsman you are, chances are you will be smashed flat. This RP will require a bit of strategy and finesse. That beings said, I will not kill your characters out of hand. Neither will I tolerate god modding. The second difference is that this RP will be relatively following a basic plot, set by me. The characters will be primarily traveling together( though they may be in a couple groups rather than one whole one), towards a common goal, not running around doing whatever they want.

Races are largely up to you, though I will make suggestions. If I get enough interest in this, I will move it to OOC and write up some more details about the world, as well as about character options and more defined rules. One more thing. While it is true that your characters can die, if this happens I will let you create a new one. If you play by the rules and are smart, you shouldn't have to worry about getting your character killed. The only sure way to be killed is to break the rules or do stupid stuff. So, any takers?
Name: Leander
Nickname: Zephyr the Wondrous
Age (appearance/actual): 20/499
Gender:Male
Species: Air Elemental
Weakness: Extreme phobia of tight spaces, vulnerable to injury in human form, prolonged transformation time.
Powers: Extreme Speed, flight, control of air and wind, invulnerable while in natural form, can change to human form and back at will.
Peforming role/Primary Postion: Lead Acrobat
Secondary position: Singer
History before circus: Leander was born from the chilling winds of the arctic as they met the warm winds of the pacific. He traveled the world for many years, taking in the beauty and life that he saw flourishing on land, and finally he grew so curious about these two legged beings that seemed to be the strangest creatures on the planet, that he taught himself to take human form and integrated himself into their culture during the Renaissance period. He met and befriended the famous poet, William Shakespeare, one of the only humans that he ever told about his real identity. Shakespeare used him as a partial inspiration for the play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream". He was completely unaware of the war between the humans and the supernatural creatures until he found himself facing hunters who had heard of his friendship with Shakespeare. While Leander was able to give them the slip, the hunters poisoned Shakespeare with a slow and secret poison that would take a month to kill him. After Shakespeare's death, Leander was overcome with grief and carved the famous epitaph on his tomb before leaving England forever. He then took an active role in the war against the hunters, using his abilities to steal their life breath. However, by that point it was too late and the war was lost soon thereafter. Leander went into hiding, both from the grief of his experiences of death and shame that he had let himself kill so many. He resurfaced in 1888, joining the newly formed Circus and vowing to never again use his abilities to take human life.
History in circus (Unless just joining): Leander was one of the first recruits to the Circus, using his skills in manipulating air currents to cast himself in the role of a wonderfully talented high flying acrobat. He is known for his "death defying" leaps, tricks and tumbles through the air, his skills at the trapeze and high wire, and his staunch refusal to use a safety net. He has also taken a particular shine to Eleana, since she arrived only a few years after himself. He often finds himself in awe of her grace and beauty, though he thinks of her as a good friend and confidant. He enjoys singing for her, since he knows she is a fan of music, and it led him to also become the troupe's primary vocalist.
Personality: He can be a bit mischievous, often playing tricks on other members of the troupe, but they are always in good fun. He is kind and caring, rather likely to help others if he believes he can. He does not let anything bother him(except tight spaces) and has a generally sunny outlook. He has never been seen to be sad or angry, at least not yet. He finds himself at peace with the world, content to live the life he has made for himself without worrying about tomorrow. He does know when to be serious, though even then he tends to be overly optimistic, and even naive. He is not, however, inexperienced in the horrors of humans, and while he is always polite and courteous to the audience, he generally disassociates with humans, preferring the company of other supernatural creatures and beings.
Likes/Dislikes: Leander loves the simple pleasures in life. He likes to entertain others, as well as to be entertained himself. He has a great appreciation for beauty of all kinds and he finds himself feeling sorry for anyone or anything that is not beautiful, which can sometimes earn him the ire of others. He also highly values freedom and independence, refusing to let himself be "stifled" in any way. He is deathly afraid of small spaces, and will refuse to enter them under any circumstances less than a life or death situation. This is because his powers are virtually useless in tight spaces and he feels choked, often even beginning to breathe hard and finally passing out if he spends too much time in small spaces.
Appearance:
Other: Leander stopped aging physically after he turned 20. He has no idea why, but he rather likes how he looks. He believes himself to be immortal, as long as he is not killed in his human form. He has a distinct lack of body/facial hair, excepting his head hair and eyebrows. Oh, and........ I Love Ice. It's yummy in lemonade. ^_^ Lol
Sure. ^_^
I have a question. How is it that most creatures disguise themselves as human? I mean, some already naturally have a human form, but what about supernatural creatures that don't normally have human forms? Can they simply change into a human by means of a special spell or something?
