Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

He went outside and walked together with Urs to a tree where the most silent duo of the orphanage often went. Most of the kids in the institution knew, this was there spot, not even the little ones played near that tree, they knew, that's where they had their silence.

As they reached the tree Jasper sat, leaned his body towards the tree and lit one cigarette. "It's a good day to be outside", he said looking at the cloudy sky whose rain was about to start. "Yesterday I was thinking... we could be so much more in this world, and instead of that, we live here, afraid from the world. We live apart from everybody else, when we could be there", as he pointed to the fence of the orphanage, "We could be there, outside, helping everyone else."

And he went back to their silence.

"I could be better if there wasn't this much noise around right in the morning", Jasper said as Urs sat by his side, "Oh, and by the way, my shoulder isn't a headrest" he continued while phasing and allowing Urs's head to pass through him, giving a small smirk as the half-asleep girl's head fell.

He calmly ate his food and waited for Urs to finish, "I'm going outside before classes, are you coming?" he said to her at the same time he got up and started heading outside.

When Jasper hear the bell rigging he finished his cigarette with two more breathes and threw with to the ground killing the fire with his shoe and walked back to the kitchen.

When he got to the kitchen he could see some of the children already sat and the housekeeper waiting for the rest to arrive."You guys should found a less noisy way to tell people that food is ready... this one is a bit annoying" said Jasper towards the housekeeper as he went to sit in a chair the farthest from the kids.

It was morning and Jasper woke up with the sunlight passing trough his window, and right after awaking he could hear the kids downstairs making noise in the kitchen. He tried to sleep for 5 more minutes but the yelling downstairs didn't allow it. He got out of the bed picked some random used clothes from a chair that had at least 4 t-shirt and 3 pants, which all seemed used, not dirty, but used, he dressed up, picked his glasses and went downstairs.

When he reached the kitchen other than smell of pancakes he could see a new face around, "One more arrived yesterday it seems,,,", he thought. He walk to the fridge pick a package of milk, filled a mug and started heading outside.

Bio: Jasper grew since he was five in the orphanage, he doesn't remember what his life was before he came into the institution. Being thoroughly against how society treats kids that are different he tries to avoid contact with other people, not having many friends, even inside the institution. Well known by other kids and staff for sometimes leaving the house without warning and coming back few days later with a new tattoo or a piecing, thing that has happen more than once.

As the midwife left the house Luca went to his backyard and started digging a hole, he dug for almost half an hour, when he finished a hole deep and large enough to fit a newborn could be seen, he went inside grabbed some of the bloodied sheets, the towels and the midwife's apron and folded them as to look like a baby rolled in sheets. He went back to his garden and after giving a soft kiss to the rolled sheets he put them softly inside the grave and started filling it with earth.

After he was done with his son burial he went inside, he covered himself with a dark cloak from head to toe and left home, carrying in his arms inside the clock his newborn son covered up with a soft brown blanket that was made just for him. He tried to rushed as fast and safe as possible towards the Delucian District, he knew this place like his hand, after all he was one of the Knights that guarded it. As he was walking he was hugging his son as tight as possible, after all he knew what was going to happen next, and then he reached it, the door of a brothel.

If there was a place that he could hide his son this would be it, so, he knocked.

As the midwife said she accepted Luca's deal his face turned back to the normal soft smile that he always carries around. He put his son in a small bed that was bought for him and went to grab a shovel from the garden's stash. He came back to the bedroom where he left the midwife also bringing with him a pouch with the promised currency. Luca leaned the shovel against the wall and approached the woman, he smiled as he handed the pouch to the woman. You may go now, and remember as the life of my son his tied to yours, yours is tied to his.
Luca turn to look at his son, and went to touch his face softly with the back of his finger, "I'll call you Ember." he said.

Luca went to grab the midwife's hand forcing her to stay and listen: "I'll dig two graves in my backyard, one for my wife and one for my son, they both died in labor and there was nothing you or I could have done to avoid this. If you have kids my sure you will understand. I just lost my wife and he is the only thing I have in this world. I can pay you hundred bells, and if you ever need anything you can come and ask and I'll help you much as I can, I will owe you his life forever.". Luca stopped, with tears rolling down his face and he looked the woman in the eyes waiting for her to accept his begging.

Stately House in Averine - Sir Luca

Today was the day Luca had been expecting for the last months, he was walking from side to side in the kitchen while he could hear the screams of her wife coming from the bedroom, the midwife didn't allow for Luca to stay with his wife since the labor had started. Almost eight hours had past since the beggining and for some reason the screaming seemed to get lower in the past minutes, and suddenly it stopped.

Luca rushed to the bedroom, when he opened the door he saw it, the body of his wife already without life, and then, from the silence he heard a cry, a soft and calm cry, he look to the arms of the midwife and he saw his child "It's a boy, but unfortunately..." said the midwife, but before she could finish Luca rushed to grab his son, and hugged him tight, while the tears rushed down his face, both of sadness and happiness. After hugging his son for almost a minute, Luca went to look at him, expecting it to have his blue eyes and mother's golden hair. The baby had golden hair, just like his mother, but his eyes were crimson red.

Luca looked to the midwife and said "I'll pay for your silence!"

Background: Luca trained since he was a youngling always aiming to follow his father footsteps as a knight serving the House of Delucia, a few years ago he earned that title, married and since then he lived a normal life, until the day his child was born.
