Lukas

Lukas made a few mental notes as Judith explained some things. Firstly, the Necromanteion was not afflicted with Necromancers apparently, it just sort of happened. This was definitely something Lukas was meant to investigate as a priest of Baphomet. Secondly, he should try and keep collateral damage to a minimum. That would be hard but he had a few ideas relating to his Ash powers. Finally, Judith didn't appreciate his 'theatrics.' Odd considering she didn't bother investing in a projector...

Henryk, he believed, made a comment after that, mentioning Lukas might be good at a bar. "I'm more of a fan of wine myself, but I certainly wouldn't mind taking you up on the offer. As long as you pay for the first round, of course." Lukas grinned, before exiting the room. He'd prefer to wear his robes and needed to change. Even if this was a simple exercise, the group would need to get used to him wearing such clothes. He knew he might look frightening in them and while that was great while facing an enemy, his allies would need to be able to trust him.

Exiting the room, right after the boy had, he saw Alison scribbling in a pocket book. She idly mumbled to herself how she had wished they were playing a different game and Lukas found that a prime opportunity to raise her spirits.

"I assure you, win or lose, this game can be fun. Just relax, this is meant to be a fun team building exercise." Lukas explained, placing a hand gently on her shoulder.

Fighters from around the world have gathered in Brass City, capital of the Japika region. The annual Super Monster Fighting tourney has begun again, filled with fresh faces ready to duke it out and see who can reach the prestigious title of 'Ultimate Monster Fighter.' But there have been murmurs surrounding the tourney. The Rocket Gang, a futuristic group of ruffians, have been growing bolder as of late. Some say they'll even strike SMF LXXVI and steal the prize belt. Either way, there's gonna be a lot of fighting.

Hey! I'm really excited about this idea, it's basically pokemon/digimon doing martial arts and going on adventures like in the original Dragon Ball. It'll probably be a bit more close to the end of the series where people could get seriously injured or die, but we'll keep that to NPCs generally. Players will also have a powerset that can add to or even be the main focus of their fighting style. Feel free to use animals, pokemon, or digimon as your appearances.
Characters

You'll be playing as a fighter, be you good or bad you have to have some kind of combat ability. Generally you should be an anthropomorphized animal doing martial arts and utilizing type-based powers. I'm willing to accept some more unique characters like some kind of ranged fighter or someone who walks on 4 limbs. They'll have to be well balanced against the other characters to do so. Speaking of balance, characters should be a definite step ahead of the general populace but no huge energy blasts or anything like that. You have the power to take on multiple people, not take down a building with a single blow. We might just get to that later though. We'll also probably get to evolutions later; some fighters, under such duress and after having fought so much, can develop a new form that they can freely ascend to. This can cost a lot of energy at first but one person has acclimated to it so well that is their new permanent form, though this is just a rumor and even than evolution isn't exactly well known even inside the martial arts community.

Setting

This is a world full of animals, walking on two legs, four, flying or swimming. The technological level is around the 60's, we've got radios and TVs, landlines and plumbing. People are definitely more intune with nature though, often keeping their dirt roads, trees and lakes as they should be. Of course, there are many great scientists, and tech level can sporadically burst in certain places or with certain people. Brass City is one such city, with the fighting arena having large, thin TVs, color enabled, and an advanced shielding system so fighters can go all out without worrying about ring-outs or hitting the audience.
Jesus this really took off! Is there any space still?
Good to know I've garnered some interest. If you have any questions about the world or characters or anything, feel free to ask!

Lukas

Florida, Lukas's home. He was quite glad he didn't have to travel at all to meet with these people. A plane ride was a sure-fire way to make him tired and grumpy as much as he hated to admit it. Three hours in a car were worth one in a plane, even in a place as hot as he lived. Interestingly, he had recognized the name of the resort the group was meeting at. When he was young the family almost vacationed there, but decided to go out of state instead, much to his chagrin. Now he wasn't sure they had made the wrong choice all things considered.

But, enough reminiscing on the past. The present is what all are meant to live in, and it seemed the presentation was finally starting. A woman, Judith Lee if he remembered correctly (he had burnt the letter they gave him, it seemed like a good idea) had taken her place at the front of the room, a projection magically appearing even though no projector could be found. That seemed quite frivolous to him but maybe this was short notice? If it was, he doubted a government agency would willingly admit to being a bit slipshod.

Lukas listened to the presentation with interest, unlike some of the others who were presumably getting used to the Florida sun. Hrmm. Necromancers. Those who played with Lady Baphomet's plans were direct enemies to Lukas, so he was certainly happy to be getting to the root of that problem. First though, the group was going to be participating in a small team-building exercise; Capture the Flag. He was with Finn, the young man who seemed to be hit the worst by the heat of the tropical locale, and Alison, the woman who was taking notes in a small pocketbook and was nervous about harming others with her spells, or being harmed.

"I do not mind being attacked." Lukas offered, crossing his legs in his chair to prepare for the ritual he was about to perform. "In fact, hold nothing back. My Lord has blessed me, I do not die so easily as the rest."

With that he focused and concentrated, magical energies swirling around him as his body tensed and his eyes were squeezed shut. His hands were positioned specifically, two fingers pointing towards the moon and sun, two pointing down towards the earth and it's core. He grunted, out of exertion, before, with a 'woosh' the magical energies dissipated as quick as they had gathered. Lukas stood up and stretched out a bit, getting ready for the exercise.

"Well, that is partially true. I also do not die at all."
@Redward A discord would be cool. Lukas certainly likes Alma, since she decried the Necromancers and is seemingly willing to go all out in CtF.

EDIT: Also, posted.
Shiet, errybody already posted but me. I'll get right on a post!
@Senhara Well with Lukas on the team true ressurection spells are possible, and I'm sure the two of them will get along well with how much he'll need her healing. Giving a man the ability to subvert death does not help his survival skills.

@Dead Cruiser Ah, thats certainly better than. You and the GMs might still need to talk before using the spell but I'm sure it'll be fine.
I'm kinda worried about that future sensing ability. We'd have to coordinate with each other pretty heavily every time it was used.
