People still around?

But with coffee you can put all sorts of stuff in it to make it delicious (for those of you who are too faint of heart to drink it in its purest state). Make yourself a tasty mocha with coffee, as much milk or creamer as you want, and a few spoonfuls of cocoa mix.

I tried coffee with cream and sugar in it. I still hated it.

*Stranger peeks around corner**Stranger steps into sunlight**The light burns his skin* Hello, do you guys have room for one more?

Well it's not like you have to ask, since I already approved you via PM's. All I asked you to do was say hi to everyone else.

Homestuck is still a thing? I thought everyone moved on.

People were only quiet about it because it was on hiatus for a whole year. :/
The Doctor nodded slowly, still drawing a blank. ‘Scotland in 1879’? Well he’d been to Scotland enough times and 1879 enough times that everything starts blending together after a while. Then she suggested she tell him about how they met. “Ah! Yes, try that.” he told her, trying to still sound hopeful though in all honesty he was really starting to grow worried that, whoever this girl was, she had been totally erased from his mind by how rough that last regeneration was. Granted, given what happened, he probably should’ve been thankful he was able to regenerate at all. Still, he couldn’t help but think about what other huge chunks of his life had completely vanished, or what other people he’d forgotten… The Doctor leaned on the TARDIS console as he waited to hear Rose’s story. If this didn’t spark anything, though, he had a feeling he’d have to give up soon…

just quick questionhave Rae and books noticed the little rodent thing?

Well. Neither of you acknowledged it in your posts yet, so I'm assuming no. Not before my latest post.

But, I mean... makes sense that you'd notice it now. Or Books, at the very least. I was intending for you to notice, if that's what you were asking.
The rodent from earlier poked its head out of Books’ pocket once again, blinking and sniffing the air curiously. Its ears perked up as it started to come to the conclusion that the huntress was gone, leaving it alone with the unfamiliar girls. Learning this, the tiny creature crawled out of Books’ pocket, scurrying down her body and onto the dirt bed, its butterfly-like wings unfolding and stretching themselves out in the neon light of the chamber, revealing a hot-pink color on top and a deep blue underneath. The small mouse of only about an inch or two tall cleaned its face the way rodents do as it looked up at the two girls, blinking curiously.

After the ‘holo’ button was pressed, the light of the screen shined harshly into Leon’s eyes — the 3D hologram mode reactivating, but left at an odd angle as the laptop wasn’t sitting with both halves lying flat on the ground, as it was when GM used the hologram mode earlier. The hologram mode was still usable, though, even if askew, and so the screen buttons that floated in the air would still react to a good poke like a touch screen of some kind.

After Leon switched to the “Basilix (mod)” tab, the image of the wolf that occupied the screen space previously was replaced with a 3D model of what seemed to be some sort of reptilian humanoid, donning scaly green skin with some black, tiger-like stripes. The creature was mostly human in shape, though certain features added to its non-human appearance, such as his slightly clawed fingertips, snake-like eyes, and, most distinctly, the tail tat hung idly behind him, reaching down to his feet. It certainly wasn’t GM’s dragon of the same name. In fact, it didn’t look much like a dragon at all, more like some sort of… lizard. Beyond that, it didn’t look nearly as beast-like as the dragon Basilix, as this Basilix seemed far more… human, for lack of a better term. Sure, his yellow eyes glared back at Leon with a sort of cruelness that suggested a rather ruthless and predatory nature, but aside from that, its face suggested that a rather human brain hid behind it, as the rest of the face carried a very human-like shape, and the head was even topped with a scalp covered in messy blonde hair. He dressed in a somewhat more human-like manner, too, wearing dark pants and a leather vest that still left some of the creature’s yellow reptilian underbelly visible. The clothing, plus the lizard-man’s muscly build, made it very clear what sort of player he would be in the fantasy world he seemed to be from — a warrior.

If Leon’s mind was sharp enough, he might’ve been able to recall when GM pulled the file up in the first place — which was when he gave Leon the respawn ability, and copied some text out of Basilix’s raw coded file in order to share said ability with Leon. Other than that, though, GM had seemingly never mentioned him, despite having a green dragon of the same name. The model of Basilix floated in the air in front of him, glaring back at the boy with his yellow, reptilian eyes, almost as if he were waiting to see what Leon would do. While no editing options seemed to hover in the air next to him, perhaps Leon could recall that GM seemed to be able to conjure up such displays and modify a creature just by touching and interacting with the design’s hologram. Additionally, two small tabs were visible in the bottom-right corner of the display. The current tab was labeled ‘Form 1’, the other, ‘Form 2’. (Spoiler alert: Form 2 is not Basilix the dragon.)
“We’re all a long way from home.”

Those words made Linda tense up a bit more. She never really thought the supposed ‘alien’ was serious about this whole thing — not when she first saw the invitation and all that. She packed up as if she were leaving mostly just to humor whoever had set up this whole thing. She never believed she would actually be going into space, until it was actually happening. Now, all of a sudden, she was nowhere near Earth, just like that.

She pulled herself out of her thoughts as Qyx guided the group to another area on the ship, leading them up a staircase that had just appeared, which opened into another hallway. When Qyx mentioned ‘Lifesavers’, a chrome tray appeared, floating seemingly on its own, carrying a set of small silver devices. Listening to Qyx’s words, Linda couldn’t help but voice her questions.

“Wait, so, will these allow us to, like, breathe in space? Or on other planets?” she asked hesitantly, trying to understand just in what ways the things would ‘save their lives’. “So does it also, like, keep us safe from crazy temperatures? Like planets that are really hot or really cold?” she continued as she slipped it on.

Qyx then brought them to the ship’s greenhouse, and Linda marveled at all the plant life on board. Normally she wouldn’t be so interested in such a thing, but, given the circumstances, “Wait, so, are these plants from your, um, home planet?” she asked, stuttering a bit as her shocked brain struggled to keep up. “Or are they from a bunch of different planets? Is this like some inter-galactic plant zoo?” she rambled, still seemingly having some difficulty putting her thoughts into words.

Qyx then told them where all their rooms were, and then left. Linda almost spoke up, telling her not to leave yet as she still felt so lost on the ship, but she hesitated, and watched as the alien woman disappeared down the hallway. She made her way to her room, walked inside, and tossed her bag on the floor, but she didn’t feel like sticking around there very long. Despite her fear and apprehension from earlier, she realized that she already had so many questions to ask — seriously, why did it seem like no one else cared? It’s an alien space ship for fuck’s sake! With, you know, an alien on board!

She couldn’t help but overhear the others on board trying to decide what to do next. Some of them suggested wandering around. “Well, what else are we supposed to do?” she asked them. “Just hang around in our rooms? It’s an alien ship — and I know I wanna see what other alien stuff is hangin’ around here.”
Vash eased up on his attacks as he saw how much collective damage the group was capable of. Sure enough, they’d succeeded in weakening it! And it almost seemed like the thing was about to make a retreat! Still not wanting his teammates to kill the thing, he was about to attempt to call a ceasefire, when the zombie-fied dragon that he’d caught glimpses of earlier (which really weirded him out — but it was a question for another time, at this rate), charged into the battle only to be viciously torn apart by the Gore Magala. Vash hardly even had time to react to the whole thing before the transformation began…

Vash’s jaw dropped as he found himself momentarily unable to do much more than stare at the thing. The Stampede couldn’t believe it. It hardly even looked like it had simply transformed. Instead, it looked like a completely different dragon — it couldn’t possibly have been the same beast that they were fighting before. Vash could hardly think of how to even begin to attack the thing, though he was pulled out of his stagnant thoughts by the now much stronger version of the dragon’s dark aura rolling out underneath them.

Vash’s jaw seemed to lower itself even further when he saw Ranma — the girl he felt absolutely certain was dead — managed to crawl out of her crater, still alive. He watched as the dragon charged up an attack to send her way, and, before he even had time to charge towards her and push her out of harm’s way, he was shocked to see one of Archer’s weapons block the attack. Watching the assassin continue to fight, it was nice to know that he wasn’t quite as heartless as the gunman first assumed…

Vash retreated towards the back of the group, still trying to think of something he could do. He watched as his teammates fired off all sorts of insane attacks, some of them even summoning their own monsters to fight for them, and Vash couldn’t tell any of them not to aim to kill anymore, just because he knew that they were all fighting for their lives, and it looked like it would be a long time before any of them got close enough to killing the beast for Vash to speak up. He looked down at the gun in his hands. He wanted to keep shooting at the thing, but he still only had a limited supply of bullets, and there seemed to be no use in shooting blindly if he couldn’t spot any area where the creature wasn’t so well-armored that he could actually damage it. Watching everyone else’s grand attacks, he almost even considered…

No. No no no. That’s a horrible idea — far too likely to hurt his teammates. Vash couldn’t believe he actually gave the thought any serious consideration, even for a second. Still looking to the other fighters, his eyes landed on Felt — and the strange, aura-filled flask that seemed to be materializing in his hands. “Wait, is that the same dark stuff that that dragon-” he began to ask, but he cut himself off as Felt, without much hesitation, tossed it at their foe. Vash froze for a moment as he waited to see what would happen.
