Guess I should get finished with that write up I've been working on. You guys aren't bad, but EA's not EA without Zel and Sif.
Sorry I vanished again, the last bits of my life have come crashing down, and I've only just finished dealing with it. What have I missed?
Rinna had not had an easy week. She had made very little progress with her control over water, and so spenta significant amount of time in class inside her own head. She knew why she couldn't access her powers, and she had a feeling Kano had talked to the Headmaster about it at some point as well. He had softened towards her somewhat since their first class, as if he understood the grief and guilt that stood in her way. Still, it was the day of the CET, and she was going to have to do whatever she could when the time came. Knowing she was facing actual combat for the first time made the empty sheath at her back very discomforting.

She would face this trial, incomplete as she was, and drag herself out on top however she could. But before then, she had one last class to attend before she willingly threw herself into hell. She walked quietly to the pools, trying to keepher head empty of the doubts that constantly nagged at her. There were a few students at the pools already, but she only vaguely recognized the girls. The guy was her classmate, but she couldn't remember his name. Giving a brief nod to Kano, she sat down at the water's edge, and began trailing her hand back and forth, watching the ripples dance an clash with her movements.
Will post during my lunch break tomorrow.
Slanderous lies

I can confirm. Mostly we put up with him for the entertainment value.
@Karo considering its you and Sif having a talk? nothing. He's slow..

Way to pay attention, ass. That wrapped up already, and Rinna is currently lost in the nearby hallways. I meant in general.
Holy shit, when work attacks...

Sorry I've been gone, what have I missed?
Rinna took the paper and read through it quietly, her shoulders trembling as she quickly scanned through the document. As she neared the end though, she couldn't control herself any longer, and burst into laughter, her entire body shaking as she held the piece of paper close.

"Look who's calling who an asshole!" She wiped tears from her eyes as she smiled up at Elbritas. "If he'd left us some record of what happened to the sword, none of this would have ever happened." She glanced back at the sword, and her laughter died abruptly. Her family had been the most important thing to her, but now that she was alone her heritage was all she could take comfort in. She hoped that her essence resonating with the shadow of theirs would be enough.

She turned back to Elbritas, making no effort to conceal her lonliness. It seeped into her aura, tinging the usually stormy blue with far too much grey. She smiled slightly and nodded when he told her to keep the letter.

"If that sword was meant to teach, then keeping it locked in a glass case is a shame. It's crying out to be used." She nodded at the blade, and turned for the door, pausing within the frame. "And it feels like there will come a day where that sword will be needed." After that she was gone, headed down a hallway with no clue where she was or where she was going, the old piece of paper cluthed carefully to her chest.
@liferusher
Nope, the other one.
Rinna snapped back to attention when her arm was wrenched away from the blade. Instead of letting him get it behind her back though, she allowed the movement to spin her around to face him, a cheeky smile on her face.

"Why shouldn't I know who Urufu's Kasai is? I'm his last living descendant, hence why the sheath to his sword is on my belt, and his wife's weapons lie on my hips." She paused for a moment, frowning at her trapped hand. His hands were very large compared to her own, so there was no gap for her to slip her wrist out of.

"The sword was calling to me, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered coming here. Technically, that sword should have been part of my birthright, except it's been lost to my family for generations." She wasn't the least bit phased by his threat of taking her to the headmaster. It wasn't the first time she had heard those words, and it was likely it wouldn't be the last either. Besides, if she had gleaned anything from her meeting with the headmaster the day before, he would be far more interested in hearing about how following the resonance had led her to the sword, and how she had managed to see its aura.
