Salutations and Felicitations!
As my title alludes to I'm a student. I'm currently studying for my BA in History and Ancient History. I love diving into lore be it that of the past, or whether it be the brilliant product of the human imagination.
But just as fun I find is picking lore apart and making something new with it, and that's what draws me to good role-plays. Those little references shaped into new forms are really what helps to keep me hooked, just as much as good writing.

Noted, I'll make sure to look at that slant.
She's not one that would really tolerate those sorts of actions, at leat not openly. Try to be subtle with it so that Kat won't notice too much. So don't just poison someone whilst you and her are walking along, in a fight that'd be different, but you get the idea.

You all find yourselves in the Grand Mansion House of Earl Lightfeather, there is a ball going on and the house is looking its best. The chandlers emit a white light that glints off of the various glasses and crystals in the room. As you look around you can see that the house is opulently appointed, grand paintings cover several of the walls, and the centre of the ceiling is a vast glass dome set within the white marble structure of the house.
The place is packed with a vast number of people. Technocratic men in smart suits and waist coats dance with women of equal station wearing flowing gowns. A few of the wealthier meritocrats flock together around the edges of the room trying to stay out of the way. Whilst proles walk about serving drinks, maintaining various things and making sure that the guests are well looked after.
It is at this moment that you see on the upper concourse of the room Earl Lightfeather and his wife Lady Lightfeather, the two are standing resplendent in the latest fashions and are smiling at their guests. They are accompanied by a number of steamdroids each carrying a platter of drinks or the finest delicacies. With a wave of his hand Earl Lightfeather has the droids start to mingle with the guests, whilst slowly walking after them.

Please try and stick to a two post rotation, at least outside of combat. In other words unless you are actively fighting an opponent that you need a response from. E.g. Character A strikes NPC B, NPC B slashes at Character A. Then try and let two other people post before you post again.

@KaelRavenheart Sure thing, that sounds quite fitting for Kat, I can't imagine if she saw a 10 year old out on their own that she'd leave them, especially not another project.
Name and title: Archon Valorax
Valorax is the leader of a small Kabal on the fringes of Commoragh, his Kabal consists off three forces:
The wings: Valorax and all of his elite troops have undergone the necessary surgery to become Scourges. They revel in flight, soaring over their enemies before descending upon them like a flock of ravens.
The claws: The second part of Valorax Kabal is the immense horde of Reaver Jetbikers at his disposal. Whilst the Scourges descend from above the Reavers harry the enemies flanks and rear cutting them down and eliminating armoured units.
The beak: The third and final part of Valorax' Kabal is his fleet of Raiders, these ships transport his Kabalites eager to prove themselves. Each one knows that should they impress their Archon that he might bestow the gift of the scourge upon them. Valorax uses these warriors to smash enemy lines they will attack head on in a rapid fashion driving the enemy into disarray.

@Kingfisher Awesome, I'll start putting a character together.
I'd be interested in taking part, I used to play 40k a tonne but college forced me onto a hiatus. I've got an alright handle on the lore, but not the latest cutting edge stuff. I assume that wound't be an issue?
