Salutations and Felicitations!

As my title alludes to I'm a student. I'm currently studying for my BA in History and Ancient History. I love diving into lore be it that of the past, or whether it be the brilliant product of the human imagination.

But just as fun I find is picking lore apart and making something new with it, and that's what draws me to good role-plays. Those little references shaped into new forms are really what helps to keep me hooked, just as much as good writing.

As Cornelia left Wilhelmina three men watched her walk away, one of them nodded to the other two. He stood and followed her, whilst the other two surreptitiously left the bar without being observed by the various patrons all to be found in varying degrees of inebriation.

The two men that left the bar proceeded to vanish into a maze of alley ways, before finally coming to an old blast furnace. Long forgotten the colossal edifice was as much rust and grime as it was metal and stone. The two men walked around the circumference of the furnace coming to the back of it situated against a wall. The two men looked to the back of the smelter and there in black paint was daubed a talon. The two men looked fervently around checking they were alone, before opening a hatch at the base of the blast furnace and disappearing inside.

Meanwhile back at the bar the figure who'd been following Cornelia, came up to where she and the others were standing. 'Scuse me miss' he began, he had a thick Liverpudlian accent and wore his black hair short. He was strongly built and wore a long grey coat and waist coat, alongside black work trousers, boots and what had once been a white shirt. 'Scuse me miss' he repeated 'But I didn't just 'ear you asking 'bout this vigilante character did I?'.
I'm liking how this bar sequence is going, just keep in mind that when you start posting info relating to the Raven, his accomplices, leads etc. Run them past me first if you would, just to be safe.
@Jbcool It might as well be Terminator armour as any armour worn by a notable Thousand Son would've been effectively Artificer Armour.

As for the instant Daemon summoning I'll be sure to balance it don't worry, I've run Thousand Son characters more than a few times. :P
Does anyone reckon they'll be able to get up another post soon?
You're going to need a psyker or two, how about a XVth Legion Sekmet Terminator of the Athenaen Cult?
Alex was buffeted backwards by the small blast of wind that Katie launched at him, as she burst forward he was only just able to block her incoming attack. He was forced to hold his glaive directly in front of him across his chest, however he used his greater strength to seize Katie's sword hand whilst simultaneously placing the blade of his glaive on her shoulder ending the match.

'Not bad, not bad but you've still got a bit to learn I think' he said smiling releasing her wrist and stepping back glaive in hand. 'Nice try with that little wind trick, but I think you'll need to be a bit faster on following up before you can use it regularly, at least against somebody with a longer weapon. If you want we can try the same again later but I'll just use a sword, we could have a bout after I help you with those vegetables?'
Kat hid quietly in the trees over-looking the clearing, she was absolutely silent as she scanned around the clearing. Her swords were attached to her thighs alongside her pistol so as not to hamper her movement. She looked down at the clearing below she saw a large lumbering shape off to one side and watched it intently.

She noted the immense strength the figure seemed to posses and made a mental note to be cautious of it, before returning her gaze to the clearing where she could see another project.
Alex nimbly dodges Katie's attack the blade slicing through the air where he had been. He swung the lower end of his glaive low hitting Katie in the shins, 'Careful' he cautioned 'You need to be watching all the avenues of attack especially against someone with more reach. Try getting in close that'd make things easier for you'.
'Well how about we play winners, Katie? So I shall spar with you, then Madison and Alysse will do the same, then winners will spar, and Vanessa can spar each of the losers and so on'

With that Alex bowed resummoning his glaive ready to fight Katie, settling into a guard stance.
'Pleasure to meet you Alysse' Alex bowed ever so slightly as he concluded introductions as his father had taught him to. 'I wouldn't worry about being eccentric around here, on the contrary if one weren't an eccentric I think they'd have more to worry about. As for my nickname yes some people call me Judge, being a son of the goddess of retribution will earn you monikers like that. The same goes for the weapon, one of my powers' he paused taking a step back before continuing 'I can manifest and master any weapon, armour or piece of tactical equipment you care to mention'.

To illustrate his point Alex re-summoned the glaive, re-shapped it into halberd, then an axe, a mace, and finally a gladius. He sheathed the short sword at his side using a belt and scabbard that he manifested for the blade at waist height.

It was then he remembered he had a match with Katie, he blushed the same as Alysse had turning to join the match in earnest, re-summoning the glaive as he walked. There you go getting distracted again Alex he thought to himself, he stopped and turned back to Alysse 'Care to join me and Katie in a bit of sparring practice?'
