Ah... The classic I'm dying and much tell you of my love.

I should have her respond, "Yes, well I love him." And point to the monster.. *laughs*
I can imagine it is going to be hard to kill something you just created, but let's make poor Matt suffer so that I have a reason to really pull the plug on Frankie.
Sara nodded and lifted a small recorder to her lips, her voice cracking with energy and excitement. "Test subject 0001 of the Lazarus project has been completed in muscular and bone structure and tested for connective tissue and vein connections. The dextrium has been injected into the jugularis externa and we're at optimal lighting field impact in two minutes."

She paused the tape as the structure above them began to give way, her hand holding onto her subject arm as it lifted toward the opening. Allowing her arm to stretch as far up as it could, her eyes filled with trepidation as lightening struck the metal structure and she made a small sound of fear, moving back as the energy raced around the large structure of their creature. Backing up a little turned her movement and walked quickly toward Matthew as the night sky became the ceiling above them, rain pouring upon them and causing her to shiver.

"I honestly never thought we'd make it to this point. What is this works, Matt? What will he be like? Will be have the capability to reason with him? Will he have a functioning brain that allows for decision making and motor skills?" She stopped talking as lighting hit the table again, sparks flying around them as the body jolted and a loud grunt was heard from above there head.

"Dear God..." she whispered and rushed toward the lever, her hands shaking with more fear than anything else, thought she'd never admit it. She pulled the silver rod and took a step back, her gaze locked on the trashing figure above him. "I do hope that restraints hold him in place."

A cold wind blew in as the table stopped before her, the creature fully awake and shaking as if being tortured in the most horrible way possible. She pressed her hand to his chest and whispered, "shhhh" and for a moment he stopped and looked to her, his dead eyes full of something not from the current world and yet not funny human. "Matthew... we've done it."
I'm in total agreement with this statement above and fully support the claims and references thereto. Wait.. I'm at home now. :P

I'll start working on a post now because guess what? I'm caught up. Waiting on X for the Owen post to move on with my Tryner one.
Bane - Thank you. You're heading up the demons as discussed.

Clumsy - Hi there. We're looking at the 1830s time frame and would love for you to join either group depending on which species you enjoy writing more.
Fabricant - Beautiful job. Accepted.
We could compliment each other all day, but then we'd be told my relative family members to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and we'd have to pull the plug on our overinflated ego - THANKS to each other. *laughs*
The forest was coated in the very essence of night, even the moon to weary to show its face that evening. Izzy walked through the quietness with her eyes closed and ears focused on the sound of movement. She needed to feed and had found large animals such as elk and tiger in the deeper parts of the forest just beyond their castle. The heartbeat of something rather excited and large perked her ears up, her eyes closing as her mouth watered, long canines pushing through the surface of her gums as she growled softly and looked eyes with the predator just in front of her. A smile touching her full red lips as she laughed softly. The large white and burnt orange colored cat before her thought that it was the predator and she the pray.

"No, no kitty, kitty," she whispered and started to run toward it only to be intercepted by a strong arm jerking her back. She spun and slapped at the figure behind her, her father catching her arm and speaking with a tone that caused her breath to catch.

"Izabella... Your brother has been taken and the trail goes cold. I cannot go myself because of my position, but I'd trust no other to go but you," he spoke quickly and quietly, the tiger running from the very scent of masculinity rolling off her father. Her eyes widened as another growl left her lips.

"Who took him, father?"

"I'm afraid it was the humans, my child." He pulled her close and locked her in a cold stronghold, an emotionless kiss upon the top of her head before he whispered, 'Go now, Bella. Bring him home."

She waited not a minute more before pulling from him and running the direction the smell human food came from. She never touched human blood because of the implications, but her mind clouded with revenge and anger, promising retribution to whomever thought to take from her family. "He better be perfectly fine..."
Cool. Thanks for the info, love.
Very nice! Lovely job of being right there in character. This story should be a fun one to play through. :)
