Biography:
Having had a legal name change, Ellie Wilkinson is now officially Sophie Amber. She previously lived in Wichita, Kansas with a promiscuous mother, Rebecca Wilkinson, and her pimp boyfriend, Richard "Rick" Hoffman, in a deteriorating house in the poorer and more dangerous region in Wichita. Her biological father committed suicide as he heavily struggled with dementia and schizophrenia. Since Sophie was an only (and extremely neglected) child, she taught herself the essentials to taking care of herself and reminding herself that there was still hope besides the darkness that always seemed to loom over her and her family. She was forced to provide to the so-called "family" especially following Rick's demands on cooking, cleaning, taking her hard-earned money, and even helping him hide his illegal money, drugs, firearms, and keys to his knock-off sports cars; she would also have to deal with his everyday belittlement. Her mother was just another negative presence to her who only grew more careless since her father's suicide.

When she was sixteen, he made a move on her which resulted in her fighting him off and her being attacked in the bathroom. This would continue for days that seemed endless until one night while he was sleeping, Sophie had already carefully planned out not on just running away but getting back at him as well. Once she had everything she needed with her, she poured gasoline on his favorite illegal Maserati knock-off, that he attacked her more terrifyingly than the time at the bathroom, on a ride back home from school. She placed a lit flare just a few feet away from the scene, getting a head start run to the bus station, until she heard a very large explosion.

It had been six years since that incident and there have been many confusing flyers and news reports of Ellie Wilkinson gone missing or wanted, criminally. She actually still doesn't know to this day if they're still alive but she's now living in the La Jolla neighborhood of San Diego, California, attending UCSD for a nursing degree.

Personality:
Despite having such a difficult past, the fact that she completely escaped from that "life", she is a renewed person; easy-going, approachable, admirable, and sympathetic.

At UCSD, she is well-liked by all cliques on-campus -- the "populars" being her niche -- and described as one of the "cool girls" by the vast majority because she doesn't have a snotty attitude. She has a part-time job the local Jamba Juice where her circle of friends from the most popular crowd of USCD come to visit her.

She currently shares a dorm with a foreign exchange student from Mexico named Luz Santos. It's also worth mentioning that Luz is partially blind from her left eye so Sophie helps her out a lot and they get along quite well. Luz belongs to the nerd herd of the school for being such an overachiever in her academics.
