I get your point. I'm struggling a bit with making it both diffientiate enough while keeping it attractive for other players. Vagus Lupi is pretty broadly defined as far as its goals go and based on the character sheets I have my doubts that other wolf players might be interested in something more radical (think of a hyper aggressive organisation or werewolf supremacists). I feel that the gang type struggles with diffirentiation to much. In essence it with be similair with the addition of selling drugs and harrasing the local shop owners out of their earnings. So I just going to listen to your advice and make a character that is capable of joing Vagus Lupi.

Finn used to be a trouble maker when he was younger. Often hanging out with friends, pissing people off and doing petty crimes for the thrill of it. He mostly went through life without a real purpose and could not really let his energy out in any productive and positive way.

However it all changed when he started kickboxing. It was at the gym where Finn learned to use his energy in a productive way. Here he could let it all out in a safe environment and found a purpose. In the gym Finn learned the value of patience and discipline.

Finn was born as the youngest of two brothers in New York into a family of werewolves. Where Finn’s elder brother was a quiet and introverted young man, Finn was a chaotic ball of uncontrolled energy that bounced constantly around the neighborhood causing all kinds of trouble for no apparent reason other than his own entertainment. The only reason that the young Finn did not take a wrong turn was due to his elder brother Mike. The two brothers shared a strange relationship.

Mike was the complete opposite of his younger brother. He was quiet, introverted, organized and smart. And yet in a strange way he could get perfectly along with his energetic younger brother. In his own way he looked out for Finn. When Finn would get into trouble, Mike was always there to bail him out. Always telling his younger brother to stay out of trouble while knowing that he would never listen to that advice.

When Finn was arrested 5 years ago because he beat up some local kid, it was once again his elder brother Mike who came to pick him up from the police station. Expecting another talk about how he should behave and stay out of trouble while driving home. However Mike had other plans this time. He didn’t drive home but rather dropped his younger brother off at the local gym and dragged the protesting Finn inside, walked up to one of the coaches and simply said “My brother loves to fight, throw him in the ring so that he can let his energy out.” And that is what they did. After getting home all black and blue Mike expected that his younger brother would never return to the gym. However during the family dinner Finn simply stated that he would return tomorrow to kick the guys ass who used him as a punching bag. Finn started his kickbox training.

Under the tutelage of coach Grayham Wolfe Finn quickly picked up the techniques but struggled with the discipline to follow a game plan for matches. None the less his coach recognized the young man’s talent for the sport. But still Finn’s lack of discipline proved to stand in the way of a true breakthrough. Finn needed something else to train his mind to focus, to analyze and follow a plan in order to become truly great. After losing an important local match that was viewed by a lot of promotors Mike once more stepped in.

After his next training session Finn saw how Mike entered the gym with a chess board under his arm. His elder brother only spoke one word “Play”. Over the course of several months Mike learned his younger brother how to play chess and it became a regular part of Finn’s training regime. It was through the game of chess Finn learned valuable skills such as to analyze an opponent, patience and how to implement and follow strategy. Useful skills he brought back to the ring and soon became a contender for a professional career. It was all thanks to his elder Brother Mike.

Needless to say that Finn was devasted when Mike told him that he would leave New York in order to study history at the Ember Grove University. Even when separated by such a distance, Finn continued the path his elder brother had pushed him on and pursued a professional career in kickboxing while frequently having contact with his brother by phone. When Mike called 4 weeks ago that he had signed a contract with a professional kickboxing organization Mike didn’t answer. Even a few days later Finn’s elder brother hadn’t called back. Over the course of the next 4 weeks Finn frantically tried to get in touch with his brother but never got any response.

Worried that something had happened to Mike Finn inquired with his father, the leader of the Cooper pack if he had heard anything from his elder brother. The Alpha responded negatively. He simply said that if you leave the pack’s territory you leave the pack and whatever happens is no longer my concern. Angered with his father’s response Finn packed his bags and left the family house. Mike always looked out for him and now it was Finn’s turn to do the same. He started his car and Ember Grove was his destination.

As the clock hit 21:00 a lot of people had gone home or just fallen asleep on the tables. Viktor never liked when people passed out on the table as there was a chance that the bar might attract pickpocketers because of the older patrons and the chill environment where anyone can sit down with anyone and have a chat without it being suspicious. "Hey my friend." Viktor said poking at an older gentleman who had fallen asleep with a glass in his hand. "Hey, you need to wake up buddy. I'll walk you to the door and call a cab for you, you shouldn't walk home at this hour in this state." He said as the man started to wake from his slumber. Viktor helped him up and told Rose at the bar to call a cab for him as he walked the man to the door. When he entered he could see that the larger group who had still been active into this hour on a workday had started splitting up and paying for their drinks. He saw a guy who he had recognised for his over the top hunter feel but had never seen before in the town begin to walk towards the bar. "Hey! How are you doing my friend? I haven't seen you in this town before. What's your name?" Viktor said in a chatty and upbeat tone as he intercepted him on the way towards the counter. "Hey Rose. I'll pay for this guys tab as he is new to the town we should give him a warm welcome. You know to show him how we treat each other in this town and specifically in our fine establishment." Viktor said most of that in the same upbeat tone as before but the last sentence he made eye contact with Kade and had a stern look on his face as the tone changed from upbeat to serious and warning. He had seen the hunter eyeing a lot of people in the bar
and trying to give leading questions to the drunk supernaturals. This wasn't someone he wanted snooping around and he wanted him to know that he had his eyes on him. But then again he thought to himself, He might just have been afraid that a supernatural had found him out and he tried to make sure he knew who he had to watch out for in the future. "Trust me when I say this, we have had gang wars and looters in this town but not once in 3 generations have someone gotten hurt in our establishment, whatever race, background or skin colour they have. And I'm not looking to change that anytime soon." He said before giving him a pat on the back "I'm telling you this because you looked a little worried at times tonight If you ever feel threatened please tell me and ill deal with it ok?" Viktor said changing back to his upbeat tone once again to diffuse the tension.

As the clock hit 18:00 and the clock rang to signify happy hour Katya readied herself and made sure that Rose was paying attention, "You need to help me with handing out drinks, old folk love to drink a lot during happy hour" she said with a slight hint of a Russian accent as she put on her apron. As the clock hit 18:15 most of the older folk had got their first drink and she recognised some supernatural regulars sitting in the corner chatting with each other, "Hey Rose I got this for now, would you mind checking on our friends in the corner and see if they need something?" she said nodding in the general direction of the regulars as she was pouring some whisky in a glass filled with ice for one of the regulars at the bar.

the regular at the bar is an older biker who is currently apart of the hells angels chapter in Ember grove he is quite a lovely old man who doesn't cause any trouble for the bar so him being associated with a biker gang isn't that big of a problem, usually, it's the younger guys who cause fights at the bar but they usually get told of by the higher-ups and older members of the chapter if they disturb the peace. Since they don't have a clubhouse the chapter has started renting one of the larger rooms in the deeper basement for their club meetings and they usually park their motorcycles outside of the bar. It's a win-win for both parties as the chapter helps Viktor with keeping the peace inside the bar area incase some big fight happens and the club doesn't have to buy a whole compound to have their meetings at.

Just as Katya got ready to open up a new bottle of vodka for the older woman of Russian descent in front of her Viktor let 3 younger werewolves into the bar signalling her to let them into their packs storage room in the deeper basement she quickly poured the drink for the woman and jogged up to them as she told Rose to take over for her at the bar. "I'm guessing you are here for your monthly shipment?" The what looked like the older of the 3 answered with a simple nod. "Alright, you know where the storage room is so I'm just gonna let you guys go down there alone, I trust you ok? Don't break my trust." She said that last part with a stern look on her face as she looked at the older one while unlocking the backdoor to let them into the dark and chilly basement.

He became classed by the state as a juvenile delinquent after beating up another kid from their class for picking on how his sister dressed. He is very pessimistic if you don't know him, but if you get close to him he very quickly opens up and become quite charming according to friends. When his parents died he couldn't really hold it together as he had decided to not go with them that night and go out with friends, in his mind it's his fault that they died since he wasn't there to defend them when he got the news of their death he dealt with the pain by being very protective of anyone that gets close to him. He is quick to come to his sister's defence even if what she did was wrong. In his mind he needs to make up for not protecting their parents by protecting her. History ✦Early life Viktor and Katya were born in the later parts of the 90s they were born into a Russian family who on the outside seemed like pagans but behind closed doors they were being taught how to use their hidden power to defend other supernatural creatures from harm. They were taught that even if some of the creatures that go bump in the night were dangerous it was only out of necessity if the evil humans in the secret strike teams wouldn't hunt them they would be friendly. They were taught that just because someone is special doesn't mean that they are evil or want to hurt you for no reason, "Who are the real evil people? The people that created a device that could kill thousands with a click of a button or the people who try to survive in the woods all alone because society doesn't accept them" their mother used to say. Viktor took this sentiment to heart and quickly got involved in the family business at the safe haven fronting as a bar in the small town of Ember Grove. The locals seemed to like the bar and the supernaturals in the area were thankful for a place to discuss things on neutral ground. Some days there would only be locals in the bar with a few younger vampires and sometimes the two heads of the biggest vampire clans would meet in heated arguments in the bar, sometimes they got so heated that his father decided to close the bar for the day so that no locals would be able to eavesdrop. But the arguments would never turn into fights, the bar was a place where everyone was accepted. Even if the vampires were at war with the Lycans you would sometimes see a vampire and a Lycan sit at the bar and joke with each other. It was definitely a weird sight but it was something he got used to over the years. ✦ The death of his parents. One night after a month of pure war between two Lycan packs his parents decided to hold a meeting with the two alphas and sort it out with them, at this point he was 17 so instead of droning after his parent to the meeting he decided to go out with friends the one night that the bar was closed for supernaturals and locals. When he got back home he found his sister crying in the living room and one of the younger Lycans from one of the packs beside her comforting her. When he also got the news that their parents had died in a hunter raid he decided to grow up and become the parent in the household. He sat up all night with his sister and made sure that she fell asleep in her bed. When she had finally fallen asleep he sat up for hours just crying as he had held up a facade for his sister the whole night to try to protect her from his own feelings. When he opened the bar 1 week after the death of his parents he made sure to let the leaders of the major Vampire clans, Covens and Lycan packs know that he would hold a wake for his parents the day after and that everyone was invited to the bar where the wake would be held. He also made sure to let them know that he was the new head of the bar and that if they had any business that they would take to his parents they should bring it to him and that everything would go on as usual if maybe a little slower since he would need to make this change quickly. Oliver is a really happy guy for having worked in the army for 16 years especially since 11 of those years were in a special ops group. When just getting into a conversation with someone though he usually puts up a facade to feel them out and then 1 - 2 hours in he usually comes out of the shell and starts opening up.

Since Oliver has been going through hardships since childhood he is hardened like a stone, he usually never breaks under pressure if the mental or physical damage is dealt to him but when it comes to damage to his team his weak. He feels an extreme need to defend anyone who comes under his command or even if he just knows them. He is the type of guy who jumps into a fight headfirst if one of his friends are in the middle of it.

Oliver has a tendency to find himself in alot of fights due to him being cocky. He has been known to recruit people from the SOG recruits by getting up in everyone face and seeing who stands up for themselves or for someone else. He also has a knack of getting a bit to tipsy and getting into bar fights.

Oliver Alexson was born into a pagan family following the teachings of the old norse gods. He grew up with the stories of old and how the Ragnarök was upon us soon enough. When growing up Oliver had a knack of getting into fights at school he was marked as a violent youth and sent to military camp at the age of 15 by his parents to that he wouldn't get taken away from them by the state. In military camp he learned a lot about what the military does and his interest in joining it grew a lot. At 18 he started boot camp where he quickly got noticed by the higher ups for motivating his squad to wake up an hour early and go on an extra 1 hour run every morning. He was quickly moved to the position of squad lead for this initiative.

Five years after boot camp he tried out for SOG (Speciella Operations Gruppen) where he was accepted with flying colors. He was 23 at the time and was one of the youngest members of SOG. After “Special Leadership” training he got his own called Ghost 1-1 for their speciality of killing HVTs (High Value Targets) and then disappearing like they were never there.

When Oliver turned 28 he had been in SOG for 10 years and he got briefed on the supernatural problem in the world. He was given a choice, Accept the invitation to join a new group focusing on killing HVT supernaturals or sign an NDA and go back to his other life. Given a week to think on it he decided to join the group as the designated sniper. He has since then been hunting creatures he had only heard in stories that you tell young kids so they don't wander of into the woods alone.

After 2 years in SoL he got the chance to participate in the first experimentation, he was to be placed as the leader in Ghost 1 which is the first experimentation squad in SoL. They were to be injected with a special strain of DNA from a witch that had a possibility to step in and out of reality. But something went wrong in the experiment. The witch somehow transfered herself into the DNA strain and messed up the experiment. When the 20 test soldiers were injected with the DNA 5 of them started fading away while screaming in agony just turning into black smoke 5 of them were infested with the witch and their eyes turned black they were swiftly shot down by the guards in the room but 1 managed to fade away. The rest of the people came out of the Experiment having a new ability. They were able to fade into “the smoke” where they could sometimes hear the screams of the 5 soldiers that faded into smoke during the experiment. 2 months into the training of the 10 remaining soldiers 1 never returned from the smoke. He appeared 14 days later at the outskirts of the military complex a husk of his former self. He was put into a mental ward since what he saw disturbed him so much that he was close to offing himself when he tried to tell the informations officer what had happened to him, the information officer also noticed that he had black lines spreading up towards his throat and towards his eyes.

Can manipulate his own body to fade away into what he calls "The smoke" where everything is greyscaled and he can only interact with other people who are in the smoke, this means if someone is closing in on him he can disappear from one place and show up 1 - 15 meters away (If you have seen the show Cloak and Dagger its kind of like Cloaks ability to just fade away except its worse haha).

He can sometimes disappear into the smoke for days without being able to come back to the real world. This seems to be a side effect that every person with this ability has.
Being in the smoke is very hard on the body. For example if someone runs 10 meters in the smoke it feels like running 100 meters with 20kg weights on his ankles.
He has noticed black lines spreading from his heart if he uses it too much in a day. Too much in a day usually means 3 - 4 times.
He cant walk through objects unless they are only made out of wood.
