Current If you think flattery will get you something from me, you are most certainly correct.

Bio

Best summed up with the phrase: "Tries really hard."
A pitiable excuse of a person, but I try really hard.

And there goes my post, hopefully to tie everyone together.

First Aid: 20 + 8 Talent + 17 = 45

She got a Critical First Aid roll after hitting him with her Fumble. Lyrisa has some pretty serious mood swings.
With the surrender of the crossbow-wielding bandit, Leifr released a breath he didn't realize he was holding. As he buckled his cursed blade against his waist he noticed his arms still trembling from adrenaline. That's right; it was the first time Leifr had sustained a real injury. Though he has been battered and bruised in all his sparring lessons and duels, the bloodlust and violence of real combat was on an entirely different level. Leifr was in awe at the strangeness of combat, fully aware of his wound but at the same time not really believing it was there. Drooping his head to look at it, there was a dull pinch all along the gash on his torso and he wondered how it would feel if it were deeper like—

Fiore.

At that moment a voice rang out from the distance without hostility. Leifr instinctively looked towards the source and saw what appeared to be a beautiful woman with short red hair. Wincing as a bright light glared from the woman’s face, Leifr shook off his curiosity and quickly dismounted.

“We were attacked by bandits!” He called out to the figure as he quickly rummaged through a satchel on his warhorse which was now breathing heavily and fidgeting from the wound obtained in the previous battle. The lowered tension made Leifr's own wound start stinging viciously, but it was bearable. Pulling out some small rolls of cloth that were previously treated with inexpensive healing ointments, Leifr rushed over to Fiore and dropped to his knees.

“Sir Fiore, I purchased some bandages during my earlier travels and was fortunate enough not to have need for them until now.” Fiore was taught some basic first aid by his tutors but even he knew that his technique was crude at best. Leifr silently berated himself for not being more wary and purchasing additional healing salves and ointments. Perhaps Lyrisa or the woman had knowledge of medicine?

“One of ours sustained heavy wounds,” he called out to the woman, hoping for his mental image of an angelic beauty rushing over and curing Fiore his ailment to come true. Liefr turned his head to face the remaining bandit and continued fiercely, “Though wounded myself, fighting another bandit or two would be of no inconvenience!”

Huffing confidently after his words, Leifr winced as his wound's stinging grew evermore present.

“Lady Kor–” He shook his head, remembering what she said before the battle. Inhaling deeply and swallowing some spit, he started over, “L-Lyrisa.” Even if he could say it, there was no way he could stick it in a sentence and so he defaulted back to his original speech, “Milady, have you learned of any treatments or medical aid to save Sir Fiore?”

Guess I'll find theme songs while I wait for Keia to post.

Get some songs for everyone else, too~
ERode said Should I just go and assume that UnendingEmpire is Adela?

That is correct.

ERode said And I'll wait until Keia has Leifr warm Fiore up with his bodyheat before posting.

I was actually waiting for Pyromania99 to post before me, seeing as combat has ended when the crossbowman surrendered on Lyrisa's round.

Leifr can be Allereun's Henchman...

Haha.

No.
Interesting. So it sounds like Henchmen are more akin to tools than allies. They are most powerful when first obtained because they have only slightly less XP and Stats than the main characters, and though they can grow with you it is at half the rate so eventually you will dramatically overpower them, so maybe getting a new henchman every once in a while isn't a bad thing?
Also, besides henchmen, there should also be mercenaries and such who work for coin, right?

Oh, by the way, for that "Animal Companion" trait, what would be an example of an Uncommon and Exotic animal? For common I was assuming it was your standard wolves, bears, hawks, maybe a cat or something, but since we haven't really encountered any other animals yet (besides epic horses with haughty personalities) I can't really form an idea of what to expect.

Henchmen Trait...man, that really sounds like something Leifr would have. Being a Noble Knight and all.

I'll grab it or the Ally trait next timeskip~
Or something ridiculous.

"Sir Squire."
"Yes, Sir Leifr?"
"Guard our troubled Lady Kortine, if you would."
"At once, sire."
"Ah, and if I may ask, milord."
"Anything for you, sire."
"You are my squire, am I correct, sir?"
"Undoubtedly, sire."
"Perhaps I should fix my speaking habits as Sir Selvus suggested..."
"You are perfect, sire, but I must agree with him."

There is also the Henchman Trait (which gives you a slightly weaker than you traveling companion. I also realized that it is not up there, damn I was lazy with traits, should have put more up, was hoping that you guys would also get cool ideas and make a bunch XD)

I really, really, really want to make some traits, yeah, but I didn't really know how you flew with them so I decided to play it safe and just use the official ones for my first character, Leifr.
Next character, I'll try making up some traits~

...I wonder, with a high Negotiation / Charismatic score, can we recruit NPCs to join our little party? It'd help us fill whole in our group. For example: even if he was weak, an archer or crossbowman would've been quite helpful in this battle. There's also the problem that, being such a small group, we may one time make a group comprised almost entirely of one type of fighter or another (e.g. all mages or all rogues) so having NPC meat shields / supports would be nice.

There's also my passing whim of "what if we can hire this silly crossbow bandit." It probably won't happen for many reasons, the two biggest being Leifr's poor charisma and negotiation score and the fact that he tried killing them a few moments earlier, but it made for an interesting idea.
Still basic, but now its got FIVE sentences instead of four!
