@AquantheRothar saw the determination in Alerich's face, he was a hunter at heart. He had heard and come across so many whose lives had been shattered by the Dark Lord, and everyone now laid maddened or bedridden. Not this one, though, Alberich had seemed big and strong at first, but he also had an impressive will. He had gone from a simple lumberjack to a mercenary just out of his vengance for, most likely, his family.
He put one hand to his shoulder.
You'd have to go out to get them. He chuckled lightly.
I heard from a village not far from here in which we can resupply, and from then on we would only go deeper, striking down any and all of the Dark Lord's forces that we come across, taking back our lands and getting revenge, for everyone, for all that has been taken from us.He picked his backpack from the ground and prepared once again for the trek. It would be long before they were actually inside the enemy territories, and death surely awaited them, but as long as they could thin their numbers just a little, they might be enough to give the rest of the world a little moe time to prepare. Alberich seemed fit to take the oportunity, but Rothar could do nothing to force him to go.
