Ashburn
______________
"Bark...Bark. Me neither, hey look at me, is there to much blood stained on me."Ash just couldn't control himself, he hit the brakes as he buckled over in laughter at this situation. Here the were, two demons-to-be, covered in dried blood, barely showered and looking like they had shopped at good will for kids. All while apparently checking into what must be one of the most beautiful hotels in the city.
"No I think you have just the perfect amount of blood. Anything more would just scream "mental institution escapee"." Ash joked as he finally calmed down enough to finish pulling up to the valet
'Valet? Oh sh*t Mabel really has a sick sense of humor.' He thought
Embarrassed, overwhelmed The valet, surprisingly, didn't even bat an eye at the loud mid-sized pickup truck puttering up to him. He didn't even blink when Ash put the truck in park and got out, barefoot and wearing clothes that looked comically small on him. Ash couldn't help but be impressed at his professionalism, especially for a man wearing a full suit.
The valet was a middle aged man, with some grey hair showing, but was very neatly shaving. The contrast between him and the beat up pickup was almost comical.
"Welcome to the Hotel Wescott gentlemen. If I may have your keys I will park your truck in the private parking garage." He said with so much formality Ash, a guy who thought a polo and khakis qualified as dress clothes, was afraid he'd break out in hives. Reluctantly he handed the keys to the gentleman, who then went to the truck and drove it away, presumably to some alley entrance. Letting someone else drive his truck almost brought him physical pain.
Ascending the stairs, the door was opened by a well dressed doorman in a red jacket, bowing as the two men walked past his post.
Inside was even more lavish than the outside. A massive courtyard was filled with all forms of plants and fountains, as well as statues Ash was sure cost more than his yearly income. A grand staircase led up to the floor above. The check in counter was clearly visible on a raised platform in the center.
Making his was to it, Ash claimed yet more stairs to reach the desk. The cool marble felt good on his bare feet, and he couldn't help but feel everyone was staring at him. He was half afraid someone would offer to buy him lunch because heaven knows he looked homeless. Luckily the woman at the desk, sporting an expensive suit and hair in a bun, didn't even bat an eyelash.
"Welcome esteemed guests, how can I be of service to you?" She asked with a bow, that only made Ash feel even more awkward than he already did.
"Um.... Mabel... she said to come here?" Ash said, sounding more like a question than a statement.
"Ah yes I suspected as much. Forgive me for intruding, I should have known better." She said bowing again. Before Ash could say she really didn't have to apologize, she had lifted a leaf in the desk and made her way to their side.
"Follow me sirs. I will show you your rooms." She said, offering yet ANOTHER bow before walking towards the elevators on the far wall, forcing them to follow.
Entering the elevator Ash was surprised at how roomy it was. The elevator easily fit all three and was a good 15' high. As the elevator moved up Ash pressed himself hard into Eric, the glass elevator was scaring him and making it hard for him to breathe. He didn't have acrophobia or anything but wished the floor had not been made glass too. The thought of free falling was repeating in his head on a loop the whole way up.
fearThe elevator dinged and showed them to be on the 50th floor. The courtyard seemed so afar below, the second the door opened Ash hurried into the hall. The hallway was well lit by gold colored fixtures and had marble collumns every dozen feet or so along its length. It was very wide, easily 30 feet and the ceiling was a breezy 30 feet high too. It was as if this section had been built for giants.
"This is the demon level." Their guide said "My name is Erica and I am a vampire class demon. The hotel is owned by several wealthy demons, mostly vampires, and a custom for demons in business is to leave some rooms reserved for demon use. They are free to use and serve as a benefit to the demon community."
Leading them down the hallway they reached the end of the hall, where they found a door on either side.
"Your room is on the right. The door has a password we change with every guest. Yours is 4799. If you have any problems please page us at the service desk. We look forward to helping you with your transformation, and hope to make it as pleasant as possible." With another bow she left the two men alone in the corridor.
Confusion, excitement, nervousness
Ash slowly entered the pin into a pad on the door, which pinged softly and made a sound as the deadbolt undid itself. Opening the door carefully Ash stepped into the room. Dumbstruck he stared at the lavish room before him. It was massive, and even had a fireplace.

"Eric... If I break out in hives its because I don't even know how to handle anything this luxurious."
Overcome with weakness suddenly Ash clunked into a chair by the fireplace. The energy spent getting here taking its toll. He hoped Eric had been good on his word, and thought to grab the second burger from the truck because he was famished right now.
Weak, tired, uncomfortable, hungry.
