Since the action had stopped and most of the patrons at the bar had left except for the captain and his new recruits, they sad around for a bit waiting for the rest of the stragglers to leave and soon all that was left was them and the sounds of music playing in the background.
"Alright captain we need to get this over with-" he started to say before a message came to him from Tera his mech suit that was sitting outside.
"Kaneda there is a large mass of people heading towards the bar, we should-" it began to say before it was cut short. He didn't know what could have except for an EMP.
"Terra? Terra?!" He called out as alarms to sound in his head. He then heard a clunk and then, an explosion coming from the front door. The burst of energy crashed through the bar. Then followed a number of smoke bombs, concussion bombs, flash bangs as well as another emp exploded before anyone could react and disabled the crew.
Soon after soldiers came rushing in shoulder to shoulder, they were all dressed in black thick armoured uniforms with their faces covered in some kind of gas mask. A voice came from the crowd.
"GET THEM LINED UP AND BRING ME THE OLD MAN AND HIS CASE!" One of them shouted, if any of the crew could still see he was covered in medals, a high ranking officer. The soldiers complied and grabbed the recruits and lined them up ripping off the helmets of any who would be wearing one and restraining them with metal cuffs, the man then walked across them all, the captain being carried away by the soldiers. "Take him back to the fortress, we need him alive. These others..." He began to say before spitting in front of them, "are nothing but little pieces of shit that need to be flushed and forgotten, keeping them alive will only hinder us if we do not dispose of them here and now. You 15 soldiers stay here, dispose of them as you see fit and burn this place to the ground. This shall be a lesson for any others thinking they can steal and get away from the military." He then turned and left with the others and the captai,n the sound of ships engines roared and could be heard leaving to the fortress, the 15 men were all that were left to finish the job.
"What do you think we should do with them? Have some fun or get it done quickly?" One of them asked the others, another grabbed bottle by the bar and walked over to Kaneda at the end of the line and smashed a bottle across his face, spraying the drink all over the others, which woke him back up to hear the words.
"It's been a while since we were allowed to have fun, let's make the best of it."
