Hey Kho, can you summarise this post for m-

286 - Teknall, Conata, Kinesis - Teknall take his children on a world tour. They see: the Fractal Sea and Jvan, 'the engineer of flesh'. Conata is at peace with this idea, but Kinesis is rather unsettled. They see the Sparkling Sea and Teknall tells them of the haughty but amicable Zephyrion. They see the Firewind and the beginnings of civilisation there. They see the Venomweald and Teknall warns them about it. Conata takes heed, but Kinesis appears intrigued. They see the ogres living not too far from the Venomweald. They see the Changing Planes and Teknall talks of the evil Vestec. The girls are surprised and saddened to learn of evil gods existing. They see Grot's massive lake-sized footsteps. They see the Deepwoods and are told about the tragic Slough. They explore the woods for some time. They see the brush beasts in the Gilt Savannah. They see there a hain village and Toun is mentioned. Kinesis senses the slightet disapproval towards Toun in Teknall's voice. They see the Darkened Spires, created by the vanished Julkofyr. They see the moons and mention is made of Vulamera and how she gifted each one to a god - such as Kyre the good man. Mention is made of Vestec's destruction of Lex, the inflexible Logos' moon, and Vowzra's intervention. They see the White Ocean and Cornerstone, and are told about the unattainable nature of Toun's perfectionist tendencies. Teknall proudly shows them the Ironheart Ranges. They see Mount Bormahven and are told about the honourable and true Ull'Yang and Yang'Ze. They see the Hilt. They see the Valley of Peace and are told about the kind, caring, but overzealous Niciel. Teknall notices some things in the north and reports them to the girls, and tells them about the mysterious, Logos-like Vowzra. They don't like him much. They see the Angels. Thye see humans. They see the Urtelem, created to counteract things like Ashlings. They see clashing storm djinnis. They see Xerxes, and Teknall is surprised but its existence, and indignant at not being involved in building it. He senses Sin also. They visit Shalanoir and are told about Phantasmagoria. They see a tribe of Quara Korala. They see Alefpria and are told about the Lifprasillians and the peculiar, ambitious, but benevolent and noble Lifprasil. They visit a Rovaick settlement in the southern Ironheart Ranges. It appears that they are here so Conata can teach the Rovaick metal making. She gets overexcited and scares everyone away. They come back after a bit. She makes a metal hammer for them and they get excited. Conata makes hammers for them all! Teknall comes back and tells Conata that she needs to teach, not just make. Eventually, Teknall takes Conata to a tedar family, Choukkud and Wutni, with whom Conata is to stay. The purpose of this, it appears, is to learn kindness. Both Kinesis and Teknall are clearly distraught at this separation, but they face it bravely nevertheless. Awakening in the morning, Conata has only the vaguest memory of the previous day - she greets Choukkud as her father.
"Summary" >.>

I mean, a Conata post deserves a more detailed summary, no?
@Frettzo When I saw the news you leapt into my mind right away. The most important thing is that you look after yourself and do your utmost to stay safe or get out however you can. Just keep us updated on your situation if you can - all we can really do at this stage is provide moral support.
@Commodore when are you jumping in eh?

This...is somewhat glorious. Woah.

Edit: also I've updated the great summary and it now goes up to page 14
@Double Capybara Beloved Cappy, a lot [alright, maybe a lot is too much. Some. Like two or three. Or something.] of my posts were done more as GM responses to player complaints xP Xerxes, in particular, was destroyed because, if memory serves, it was constantly pointed out to me that it was too far ahead given the technological limitation at the time, that aspects were not exactly 'original' etc. etc.
I would probably have destroyed it regardless, but it would have been nicer if I could make mention in the destruction post of the fact that Jvan's influence was clear in the place etc. Would have made it more in line with Vowzra's policy - and in retrospect, that is obviously one of the main reasons that drove Vowzra to do it >.>

And eh, so far all the Xerxes build-up posts I've been reading incorporate plenty of stuff - Sin interacted with Lazarus, with Illunbar's attempt to influence Xerxes, with Jvan etc. Doesn't seem like the build-up was done without reading others' ICs - I, however, did not read the Sin build-up posts and had not had any plans to interact with Xerxes at the time. It's destruction, as I say, was a GM move made due to player complaints at the time.

Edit: Yeah, my PMs with Loki confirm that Xerxes was destroyed to allow others an opportunity to catch up technologically while Sin rebuilds. My explanation of it to you also, Cappy, on page 402 or something.
@BBeast Did Teknall ever have that chat with Jvan about all the raping and altering of mortal minds against their will which featured heavily in Violence's accusation against her in Stand? I know he chatted with her after Vowzra was killed, but not sure if he did talk about this matter in particular. If he didn't, the consequences might feature in a future post of mine.
@LokiLeo789 I hadn't realised that there had been so much divine interaction with Xerxes before Vowzra destroyed it. Like, I didn't know Jvan had built all these things and there were already characters being developed there. I think we had OOC reasons for destroying it the first time, didn't we? Had I read the Xerxes-related stuff more carefully I would probably have gone about destroying it a bit differently - if at all.
@Vec Just know that I'm in that precarious position where the number of thanks I have given is equal to those I have been given. So just be grateful for the likes I can still give and sharrup dammit

(now go thank all my posts so I can give thanks for all the blessings the Lord hath given me)
Someone toss me a link to the wiki?

@BBeast Did you ever continue the great summary beyond page 13? Because if you haven't I think I might add to it as I read. If you have, let me know so our effort isn't victim to ignorant inefficiency
