Right right, I understand. hehe Can u add my character to the character profiles on the first page please?
Of course, but...withdraw what? Is there something about my character sheet that is bothering you now? If so, I'd like to fix it now before I get started rping.

Having played Dragon Age 2 I know what Gaatlok is. I feel however that using it's exact same name isn't the smartest thing to do -- it derives from the fact that we are qunari and such. That said it seems a bit stupid to have liquified gunpowder etcetera when you cannot make it (the magi have it after all.) I imagine that these are put in clay shells, which can then be lit on fire and thrown after which they explode?@Kimono, I feel thatWouldn't exactly be a great addition. Berserkers are not actually a real thing you know? He would be an advisor type of character, not a crazy maniac if I read the sheet right?

Hahaha I guess your right. He is more of an advisor than a berserker. But...I only threw that in there cause I wanted him to have some way of fighting if absolutely necessary and a crazy psychotic breakdown seemed like the best fit. I'll get rid of it though. lol Am I accepted though?
Valentín Nicolai de Nostrade

"I already miss the darkness...the sweet gentle dreams I dreamt..."

Full name: Valentín Nicolai de Nostrade
Titles: Former King's Ward, The Nightingale
Rank: N/A
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Personality: Melancholic, awkward, and depressed, Vale is a young fellow who seems to always appear as if he is woeful and wretched. His heart hangs heavy and his countenance hangs even lower. Despite being unusually beautiful for a boy, with an angelic and feminine voice to match, his gloomy and eerie dark aura may stir people in the other direction. He is a wallflower who prefers to keep to his own and watch others from a distance. Emotionally unstable and unavailable to all but the Queen, his somewhat passive behavior towards others makes him seem very mysterious and dissonant. He speaks in a low and dainty tone, and goes to all cost to avoid direct confrontation. He is the type of person who is quick to blame himself for the misfortune of others. While some believe him to be possessed, it is his dark past that consumes his soul. Vale seems to show interest in the mundane and books, and has a peculiar, but hauntingly beautiful singing voice. Despite this, passion lies far and in between for him, and more often than not, he is neither thrilled nor enthralled by much of anything. It is rumored that he talks to the walls and sings to the moon every night. Vale finds sleep to be his sacred place, and is always open to take any opportunity to slumber, relishing in his dark and distorted dreams. Not many see him in the light, as he reserves his gentle smiles and singing for the Queen. He is a bit of a masochist as well.

History:
Clairenfort was a small, but rich neighboring kingdom under the rule of the Nostrade royal family. The Nostrade's consisted of the King, the Queen, Vale, his 4 older brothers, 2 older sisters, and 3 younger sisters. As one of the youngest, and the youngest son no less, there was a slowly festering feeling of neglect that Vale was feeling from his parents. And this didn't help, because from a very young age, he was always deemed different by his siblings. The black sheep as some of them called him. Vale was exceptionally beautiful for a boy and many said that unlike his brothers, he took after and resembled greatly to his mother. The folk of Clairenfort said he was the most beautiful, even more so than his sisters. Often, his siblings would tease him and exclude him from their activities for being weird. It was only his mother who truly appreciated his uniqueness.

However, unbeknownst to him, his mother was the worst of them all and if modern doctors could of existed then, she would of been classified as a psychopath and sociopath. She knew Vale was different, and used her motherly charm to manipulate her son to her own bidding without him even realizing it so she could take the throne for herself. She loved none of her children conditionally, and to her, Vale was just an out-casted pawn she could use to her advantage. It was when he turned 10 years old, that through skilled deceit, under-play, and strategizing, she was able to manipulate Vale into killing his entire family by poisoning their food at dinner. Distraught by what he had done and unable to cope with the dark and extremely volatile emotions he was feeling, he eventually ended up killing his mother as well. After the death of the royal family and the kingdom of Clairenfort began to crumble, a young Vale was adopted by another King(Lady Isolde de Morgreta II's father)and raised as the King's Ward.

Isolde, a very gentle and sweet princesses, was one of the few people that Vale immediately felt a good "vibe" from and latched onto her like a fly. Infatuated by her light, he has been loyal to her ever since, even after she was de-railed by her good for nothing brother. He may not be in the lime light, but he does what he can to keep her safe at all cost, even if by lurking in the shadows and watching those who come near her.

Skills:
---Keen Eye; Due to his reserved nature, Vale developed an odd ability to read individuals and assess them just by looking at them. He is exceptionally skilled at reading lips and body language, and has a tendency to pick up "vibes" from others.
---Singing; Vale is a haunting, but ethereal beautiful singer. The rare few who have heard his voice, stated that it sounded like a haunted ghost trying to lure them to the pits of hell. Of course, when he sings to the queen, his voice is like a mother lulling her child to sleep.
---Book Smart; Vale spends much of his time reading books, just about any book in fact. He has no preferences. Literature is just one of the many means for him to "escape". Because of this, he is knowledgeable about many things.
---Pain Tolerance; Somewhat of a masochist, Vale finds pain to be an odd and "hard to explain" sensation for him, but, in a good way. Because of this sensation he gets from pain, he has a high tolerance to it, making torture more of a pleasure for him than a scare tactic.
Dreams and fears:
---Fears the death of the Queen.
---Fears large crowds of people.
---Fears not being able to sleep.
---He has no dreams(none at the moment) except for the ones in his sleep.
Favored equipment:
---His books.
Extra:
Insignia of the Nostrade Royal Family.
Pluto

"Something like that?", Pluto thought to himself in a somewhat disappointed manner. Surely the tall orcish looking faunus had more to say than simply, something like that. Then again maybe he did not. And even if he did, he had no obligation to disclosing how he was feeling. And well...Pluto isnt exactly the most talkative type himself, but when he does speak, it is always heartfelt and passionate. So when the faunus actually continued, with quite a lot to say, way more than Pluto had expected, he smiled softly in genuine concern and gleefulness. His countenance lit up subtly and his feminine pretty eyes glossed as they followed the faunus' gaze over the rail and to the ground below.

Pluto stepped closer and lightly leaned himself against the railing to the left of the faunus. Cutely grasping his fragile hands behind his back, he warmly smiled, affectionately so, listening intently to what the faunus sincerely disclosed to him. As the faunus discussed the opening exam and his worry of his team, Pluto pondered over his own incompetence and sighed somewhat heavily. He was not on a beacon team and instead, was a teacher's assistant. Somewhat lacking in combat skill compared to many of the other students his age, he was offered the teacher's assistant job as a placeholder until he was strong enough to make an official team. This was a heavy hit to his confidence for sure.

Pluto chuckled lightly when the Faunus awkwardly paused and finally introduced himself as Gren. "Gren", what a subtlety simple, but nice name, Pluto genuinely thought to himself. Pluto smiled at him warmly and briefly looked over his shoulder out at the scenery before turning back to face him."Oh, no no no, forgiveness isn't necessary. I genuinely enjoyed listening to you.", he said in a soft and low and almost dainty tone. He paused awkwardly, brushing some of his wavy black hair out of face that the wind seemed to want to relentlessly retaliate against his efforts. His hands were still clasped behind his back as he continued..."And ugh...my name is Pluto. I'm ummm...I'm a teacher's assistant here and also faunus believe it or not.", he said gently, taking a brief moment to delicately lift up and pull back his garments to reveal the fish scales on his lower legs and forearms. Oh and the fins on his ankles. He smiled awkwardly before covering them back up.

"So... anyways... ummm....", he began awkwardly..."I'm the son of Madame Schön. She was a teacher here long before I was even old enough to come to this school. But...she isn't ummm...she isn't alive anymore...", he finished off with a sorrowful tone. His eyes began to water, but he quickly wiped them in an attempt to maintain his composure. It hadn't been long since his mother died and the harsh reality still hadn't completely set in yet. "Anyways...sorry about that Gren. Just had a moment. It's nice to meet you.", he said with a semi smile, the lingering thought of his mother still resonating in his mind. He shook his head and tried to focus. "But...I'm really sorry to hear about your teammates Gren. I usually don't do this, Well..actually... I've kinda been told not to do it. Its kind of the main reason why I'm not on a team fighting out in the field. But...I think I might be able to help your teammates...well...at least one of them. Perhaps...we can go get something to eat and talk about it.", he said to Gren in a sincere and pleasant tone. "No joke...I'm dying of hunger. My workload for these teachers is completely insane", he said in a teasing manner, his countenance beautiful and radiantly affectionate.

I'll try to get something up, though you should know in advance that this is Gren's first day as a "Hunter". They just finished their entrance Exam, so forgive me if he seems to be a bit perplexed about how your character knows him. Also if he mistakes him as a female.

oh hahaha I was not aware of that. maybe I should change my post first then before u reply to it. sound good?
cheese and bread, why is no one posting? I posted like 16 hours ago and no one has posted since then. lol
Pluto

Pluto sighed deeply, heavy handedly closing shut his book and running his delicate fingers through his wavy black hair and lightly caressing some hair behind his ear. "Finally done....for now at least", he said in a soft voice, giggling briefly. He giggled, but really...he was exhausted. Being a teacher's assistant was hard work. He wasn't an assistant to one of the teachers, it was all of them, and this made his work load quite cumbersome at times. Of course, he appreciated being helpful and putting his needs before others, so, he kept his complaining to a minimum. It's like his mother would say..."Its about being there for others when they can't be there for themselves"....

With his cloths daintily wrapped around his body, he stood up from his seat and slowly pushed it in. Taking a moment to gather his notes and papers and books of course, he made his way out of the library and walked down the corridor, taking special notice of any of the Faunus he walked past and briefly smiling each time he saw them. "Oh right...", he thought to himself. Pluto stopped for a moment and looked up as if he was thinking intently and then made his way to the infirmary, looking through the doors briefly to check in on who was there. It hit him though, the rooftop. He hadn't been up there in a while, its always such a peaceful place to go if you need peace and quiet and maybe some R&R.

Having made his way up to the roof of the infirmary, Pluto sucks in the fresh air and lets out a deep breath, taking his time to relax-fully inhale and exhale the air as it breezes by and blows his cloth and wavy black hair. It hadn't been an assistant for long, but the workload was heavy already, and there was nothing like taking a moment to go outside and just....breath. His pretty eyes followed along the scenery until he noticed a strange looking person. Faunus most likely due to his inhuman like face, though...quite frankly, he couldn't make out what kind of faunus he was. Nonetheless, his countenance seemed quite sulky and washed over. Slowly, Pluto walked up near him and stood nearby, but not too close. He kept his distance, taking a few seconds here and there to look back and forth at him. Pluto frowned. "I wonder whats up with him...", he thought curiously to himself.

With his books still tightly grasped and pressed against his flat chest, he sat them down and stretched out his arms and yawned, slyly looking to the faunus once more as he did so. He spoke tenderly..."Ugh...sir...I'm sorry to bother you but...you just look really....bummed. Are....are you okay?", Pluto asked in a sweet and sincerely concerned tone of voice. It was always his "motherly" instincts and empathic heart that wanted to make people feel better. He was usually a wallflower, but...when others were in need...or at least...if it seemed that they were in need...he couldn't help himself but to at least try and help.
